My first time today at this location. It was very clean and spacious. There were only 2 tellers working and a long line. The line moved somewhat quickly. I was able to withdrawal my birthday funds without fuss or issue. The teller was polite. This Travis Location is located on Harbison Dr, in the same parking lot as Target. Parking lot is small and was packed when I arrived. There are ATMs outside. I never used them and can't speak on my experience with them. read more

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service -- from the manager all the way down to the staff. When my mother opened her account, they had no problem allowing me to translate for her. But now, when she simply needs to make a withdrawal, they suddenly refuse to let me assist -- and they also fail to provide any alternative translator. This inconsistency shows a complete lack of customer care, cultural awareness, and basic problem-solving. It's unacceptable for any bank to make essential services inaccessible, especially for elderly or non-English-speaking clients. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. I am extremely frustrated with how Travis Credit Union is handling check deposits and pending transactions. It's my money, yet they hold onto it for days, claiming processing times, pending transactions or a hold while they profit from my funds. I have been depositing the same check from the same company for 18 months without any issues and suddenly, they decide to place a hold on it. Even after depositing the check in person at the branch, they still enforced the hold. Where is the consistency? If there was a policy change, why wasn't it communicated? The lack of transparency is both frustrating and inconvenient. I called customer service hoping for answers, but instead, I got the runaround. The first representative kept repeating that it was just a standard hold without addressing my actual concern. When I finally got to a supervisor after 25 minutes on hold the response was even more bizarre. She claimed that both my wife and I had to visit the branch and speak with the branch manager to request the funds be released. What? That has never been a requirement before. We're not buying a house or making major account change I just wanted to know why they suddenly placed a hold on a routine check. By the end of the call, I couldn't shake the feeling that she was trying to confuse me or bait me into saying something that would justify ending the conversation. At this point, I can't help but feel this is a calculated move by the bank to hold funds longer and collect interest on my money especially during February, a short month, and tax season, when banks see an influx of deposits. Banking tactics like overnight lending and sweeping funds allow them to make money off our deposits while we wait for access to our own money. This situation is unacceptable. If the bank teller scanned the check and saw that funds were available in the issuing company's account, why wasn't it cleared, just like the last 18 months? Loyal customers shouldn't have to deal with sudden, unexplained changes like this. Travis Credit Union, do better! read more

Never been to a bank where you have to count the money you're depositing to the teller? As a bartender I deposit cash in my account all the time a few times a week. the teller asked me how much it was. They have money counting machines that do this by their desk. Lol weird interactions all the time here. Very odd to have me count a large amount of money out in the open. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. BE AWARE They will discriminate against you during the lending process for your race/religion and other identifying factors that violate the Equal Opportunity Credit Act. They literally had me sign a contract, open a card issued the line of credit issued and even had the card showing up in my account. Then the loan person that had an issue with me personally decided to suspend my card and funding which is now negatively affecting my credit situation because of it. They treated me like a criminal after an approval...I have a 706 score and it was an instant approval with no income docs required...Then everything changed when 1 person got involved well after I was approved...PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!! I have been treated rudely on more than one occasion in the branch. I've been banking with Travis since 2017 and in this particular branch, I have been asked to take off my vision glasses when I've been I'D, I'm assuming because my DL has my glasses off, but hey, you can still totally tell it's me. I've been asked to verify my address on another occasion and this past Saturday, 02-15-2025, I went to deposit my payroll check and was asked if I had ever cashed a check or deposited from this employer before. I said yes, for the last 3 years. I was then told that a hold will be placed on my check and since it is a holiday weekend, I wont have access to my money until 02-20-25. I was then given a paper to sign acknowledging the fact they are holding my funds. Once again, same paycheck for 3 years. The tellers here are always rude. I went to a different branch which I also frequent as it is close my house. They were taken aback at treatment. I was told that all the teller had to do was look at my history and would see that I have been depositing my checks on a regular basis. Never going here again even if it is closer to my work and I'm on a lunch break. Such poor treatment. And maybe they should hire people that don't act like they are better than everyone else. I'd also like to add that I also have my car note and a personal loan with Travis and I was treated like I walked in off the street. So dissapointed in this branch. read more

I came into this branch after going to mine in Dixon because the customer service in Dixon is horrible , long story short my account was hacked of hundreds of dollars and Dixon said there was nothing they could do and I came to Vacaville branch and Isaiah was a God Send he was able to fix everything and get me my much needed money back . I used to go to this branch plenty back in 2018 / 2019 and never had any problems. June 2021, I went in to apply for a loan and the service was absolutely horrendous. The staff ignored us for roughly 25 minutes, no updates at all. All of the staff avoided eye contact with us. When a woman named Chaerin called us up to a desk it got much worse. She treats people as if they are ignorant and assumed things constantly without letting us finish our questions. She was extremely abrupt when asking us for information and was overall just very rude. Worst customer service I've ever received there. If I end up having to go back and the customer service is just as poor I will be changing banks 100%. read more

I've been with Travis for 20+ years and am now seriously considering a new bank. Not just this branch but all their branches have switched over to this "retail" business model which is the WORST mistake they could have ever made. So now there are lines wrapping around the couches consistently with only 2 or so tellers; I think the hope was more people would use the atm's.... They haven't figured out THIS DOESN'T WORK. It just makes us customers stand and wait in a giant line while there are typically one or 2 employees standing near the door doing nothing hoping they can assist people with the atm's. I wish they would go back to having a decent amount of actual tellers so you don't have to wait so long every time you come in. I get they were going for a personal feel but it's horrible. A long overdue review, but by far one of my favorite branches to conduct my business needs. I've recently needed some updating on my accounts and was helped out by Diana. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided amazing customer service. The high level of training of the staff is clearly noticeable. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave; they make you feel like family. This branch has recently been renovated and must I say, what a drastic and welcoming improvement it has made. Both the financial services and branch side are eye capturing. Looking around and noticing that the credit union uses their very own staff on marketing posters/images is pure genius. It's the attention to details like these that make the difference for the member. Parking is a bit tight, but there is plenty of parking near the Target area. I unfortunately could not capture a picture since there are signs posted not too, but that just means you will have to go and take in the experience for yourselves. This bank continues to not only leave issues you attempt to resolve with them unresolved, they almost go out of their wait to make them worse. If you would like to bank with a bank that does not care whether your accounts are serviced or not and are nearly impossible to work with, they are the bank for you. I would strongly recommend against financing anything through this bank. Or doing any business whatsoever with them if you are not in driving distance to go sort out issues with them in person. Since my issues can only be addressed in the branch- I was fortunate to get off work around 4pm on Monday 11/20 and I decided to get ahead of the traffic and to stop off at the Vacaville branch on Harbison. I thought I was finally all prepared to address everything needed after 3 previous visits at the end of last week in FF, Suisun, and Dixon- I was so wrong... I was even going to bite the bullet and go ahead and re-establish a new checking account with Travis, which would further increase the fees. So, after my three other visits I understood that I had $23 in overdraft fees, $110 to cover my credit card bill through the end of November, $25 to establish a new account, and was informed that $50 would have to be deposited into the checking account. This wasn't a problem given that I had over $2500 from three checks available. Finally feeling somewhat relieved, that I have all that is needed to end the fiasco once and final. I begin to sign the checks and the rep calls to verify all that I told her based on my other 3 visits at other branches. As she begins to enter data into her computer and references the check she is able to see that my CA drivers license has a hyphenated last name. My previous account had only my maiden name, which I've banked with Travis since I was 11. I've been married well over 10 years, but the name change was done during this summer in behalf of an anniversary and also in conjunction with applying for a passport. I had previously asked the clerks assisting me if it was a problem that my ID showed both last names hyphenated, but I was told that it wasn't urgent and I could update my account at any time through member services. Here and now the clerk/rep proceeds to tell me that since my previous/closed account doesn't have the hyphenated last name that I've been using since the summer... I will need to show proof of my marriage certificate before she can establish a new account. I proceeded to repeat all of the circumstances that I have prevented me from resolving this in my last three visits and how this all could have been prevented IF ONLY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE was in place to offer a COURTESY CALL to forewarn me that my long standing account was at jeopardy of being closed over $23.... I understand that I could put forth even greater effort and go home to retrieve my social security card and passport to confirm my legal name change, however that could only be done a later time since I live an additional 15-20 minutes out and it was already approaching 445. So, if I made the decision to do it tomorrow- be it my fifth attempt, the rep clarified that the check(s) would be held for 9 days to ensure that they clear. This added delay was infuriating to say the least. Again, another blank faced rep with no suggestions or any motivation to look into it any further, no empathy when I explain all that I've been through to take care of this.... So for the 4TH time I leave a Travis branch with no resolution. Please tell me who is going to do something about this and who will be contacting me to expedite making this right... You want you're money, I assume you want my patronage, but why won't anyone help me when it's to both of our benefit??? After all of this, I don't even want to bank with Travis. I can get a 9 day hold elsewhere on my checks, and possibly even transfer my credit card so that someone else can collect my interest. I'm just appalled and I would expect to find someone at corporate who is too. I cannot emphasize how complicated this been and how difficult Travis X4 branches has made this entire situation be without any resolve. If this is how you treat a customer of nearly 30 years- then I feel it is necessary to document so via negative Yelp reviews, by contacting cooperate office, and telling my family and friends who have long standing accounts with Travis as well. Ive had an account with Travis since i was a kid, always in good standings, started my first roth ira investment through this branch, this place used to appreciate me and treat me with kindness and respect. Now im a college student, money is always tight, i expect Travis to look out for my best interests and treat me well. Well, they haven't! Travis has turned into a pack of vultures, with the rudest bank tellers in town. I mean, how is it that every single time i come face to face with these people they are immediately irritated and frustrating to talk to. They never smile or greet you with respect, they cut you off while speaking, i always feel instantly profiled when i walk up to the counter (im tattooed and bearded, not a criminal thank you very much,) the tellers are always in a bad mood - maybe they just can't stand youngsters but im really sick of feeling unwelcome in the only bank ive ever used. Its gotten to the point where i'd rather drive ten minutes out of my way to go to the Cernon branch. They're rude over the phone as well, i often question if im on hold for an excessively long time just in an attempt to get me to hangup. Ive been put on hold for over fifteen minutes for a simple question about depositing a check. Its been a few years since the customer service completely went down the toilet but ive realized that Travis just doesnt care about you or your business, they do not hold themselves accountable for anything and are very quick to put all the blame onto the customer. I went in to the branch and was quickly greeted and sent to a personal banker. The banker was highly disrespectful. When I wanted to know about how can I lower my interest rate etc she just went on about my credit. I have a good credit score and I just wanted to know if I have any options of lowering interest that could be opening a checking account or setting auto pay etc. She wouldnt even let me complete a line without jumping on my case. I work in a bank and have really good idea about customer service but these people at the branch are not worth dealing with. The customer help line sucks as well. Don't bank with these guys. Travis is the worst! I've had an account with them since I was a kid, and most recently got an auto loan through them for what I thought was a good deal. I went through some financial troubles a while back and lapsed on my car insurance for one month. I paid the stupid "non-insured" fee or whatever ($200ish) and thought I would be good. Come this week, I find out there is a repo order on my car for missed payments! I make my car payment every month a day before it is due. Turns out, Travis put a repo order on my car over a $13 discrepancy on payments that I was not aware of. When I tried to get it fixed and pay whatever I needed to pay, I was told that there is a fee of about $500 to get rid of the repo order. So over effing THIRTEEN DOLLARS, I now owe them a good chunk of change for seemingly no good reason other than nobody ever notified me that my payments went up. Currently waiting on a payoff amount to refinance my loan at another bank. read more

Came in today to just simply cancel my account so had a seat with one of the ladies at the desk she was an asain lady had a bowl cut and glasses, didn't get her name sadly but she was very rude approaching me after I just asked a certain question. I wasn't even showing any type of attitude but it seems like this person just likes to be rude to any customer she comes across and also likes to act like a smart ass for no apparent reason hope y'all put some of your employees in check it's not hard to answer questions in a non rude way when I came in totally respectful just to specifically close an account, she'd probably read this and say the complete opposite (which I expect)but as you can see on other reviews many people complain about your employees being rude, also didn't even let me talk at all all I was telling her how I was asked to show proof of residency and she goes on saying "you mean your address right?" This review is for Katelyn Alves. When my husband and I first met with Katelyn we came into the branch to open a business account . She was very nice and patient she answered all of our questions and set us up fast and easy . Katelyn did ask if we were interested in refinancing any vehicles and at the time we were not interested And couple weeks later I came back into the branch to meet with Katelyn and was interested in refinancing our truck but I also refinanced my other car to pay off all my credit card debt and save us money ! She is great ! Anytime I had a question I can call her and she answers right away or gets back to me to answer all my questions . Recently we needed to purchase a new car and of course I called Katelyn we came into the branch and met with her got our car loan shopped for a car and in five days found a car we loved did paperwork got our car and didn't have to be at the dealership a whole day, she made it easy and smooth . I would recommend getting your car loan through Travis any day than going through a dealership and if you want A+ service ask for Katelyn Alves she's the best and my go to !!!
