Seriously thinking about changing banks after more than 25 years as a customer. I gave a 2-star (rather than a 1-star) review because most of the employees I've interacted with over the years have been kind, helpful and competent. This review comes in the wake of yet another out-of-service ATM experience. I am not exaggerating when I say that up to half the times I try to use the ATM at this location, it's out of service! Can somebody please get it together and make sure the freaking ATM is working, especially during non-business hours? It forces me to drive to another bank, get money, call and request the $3 fee gets reversed (just for the principle of it), and it's flat out ridiculous that it happens so often. Geez... read more

This bank is HORRIBLE! Customer service is beyond rude. My mother has been banking here for over 20 years and felt completely discriminated today while at this branch. Tellers would not let her withdraw any money and told her to call customer service, which we did they had no idea to what the problem was account was in good standing. Recommended we visit another branch which we did, no problems and smooth transaction. This was my first physical bank location in California. First impressions are important to me. I needed to transfer from my out of state bank to get a cashiers check. The minute I walked in I felt unwelcomed. Then came the customer service, servicing me like I was a hassle. Decision made to ditch this bank before I even walked out the door. I am extremely disappointed in the way US bank has handled themselves and their customers during this pandemic. I'm almost positive they are the ONLY bank that closed up when things got rough. The ATM has not been properly maintained which is embarrassing since it's the only US bank ATM in town. Always full or out of order, and then when they did decide to bless us with their presence they had ONE teller at the drive up. Terrible display of customer appreciation and shame on you all for making this difficult time even more unbearable!! We will be moving our business elsewhere when you finally open the doors. US bank also made it impossible to navigate the sba loans offered by the government, we were denied 3 weeks AFTER being approved by another bank that was willing to help instead of slamming doors in our faces. I have been waiting in line for 30 minutes. They have 2 tellers with 13 people in line. Not the first time. Manager needs significant training in staffing. Been waiting this long will shut down 20 year account and move to Travis Credit for much better service. read more

Unfortunate that the online services and benefits of using this bank do not reflect their branch. When you walk in the door on any given day be prepared to wait for at least 20 minutes to be seen. They are horribly understaffed and when they do have people they are sitting talking to each other with one teller open. May be moving my business elsewhere. read more

Customer service is HORRIBLE! I walked in on a Saturday to absolutely no-one in the bank and inquired about an informational add to my accounts; have to make an appointment for a 10 minute transaction. I return 2 days later, add the information and request a confirmation print-out and am told "oh we don't do that, there's a note in your account". This was for a beneficiary designation; are my family members supposed to guess where to go when I pass??? I need a document to put with my important financial papers!!!! Why is that so difficult? Absolutely unbelievably lazy on their part and they could have helped me when I was in front of them the 1st time, but chose not to. read more

Do not go to this bank. there is 1 teller and 13 customers. ive been waiting a very ling time. they closed the fairfield branch so everyone is coming here. i suggest change your bank to a bigger bank like wells fargo or bank of america. you will wait a long long time if you need a teller. read more

I used to like this bank a lot, but recently I wanted to close out some CDs early and it was only at that point that they informed me that there would be early termination fees. They tried to insist that I maybe just wasn't paying attention when I opened the accounts (on two separate occasions with two separate bankers) even though I carefully read everything. I didn't miss a thing, they just scammed me. I called corporate and went through three different people and was finally waiting for a call from the District Manager, but he didn't bother to respond. The day after the three day window in which to expect his call ended I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. US Bank gave in right away and refunded all of my money and let me keep the interest that had accrued (I expected to lose this because I was under the impression that this was the deal--don't wait out the whole term, you don't get the interest). They lied a bunch in their BBB response, however, which really bothered me, but I was willing to let it go because they had accepted my proposed resolution. They insisted that they informed me of the penalties even though they don't have anything that talks about the penalties with my signature attached to it. They also wrote that the Branch Manager had attempted to contact me a few times, but was only able to get a hold of me on November 30 (not true at all, the first time and last time she called was November 30). As I said, though, I was willing to just forget it, but since then, though, they have sent me a letter insisting further that those lies are true. They also sent me the Deposit Account Agreement, which I was actually not given either time that I opened a CD with them. They are desperate to insist that they are right, but everything about their behavior screams that they KNOW they were wrong, but just don't want that getting out. If you have to use US Bank, I guess just be careful and be ready to get the BBB and possibly a lawyer involved. These guys will scam every penny they can, if you let them. read more

I just wanted to comment on Brittany, literally goes above and beyond the customer service duty. Working retail we constantly go over to get change each week, she calls us personally to let us know any changing holiday hours or any events that might affect us getting over there. Not only that but also she is always so friendly and not just a fake nice but a genuine kindness. This is how all customer service should be done.
