Met a group of friends here for dinner and really enjoyed it. The cocktail menu had a number of creative drinks - I went with the House of Gucci and it was wonderful. For my entree I had the pasta with kale pesto and broccolini and it was light and enjoyable. Because of the size they f our group we were seated at high tops in the cafe area so it was a little loud and hard to hear conversations, which might not be an issue in the main dining room. Parking was easy and convenient. Service was fine given the size of our group. I would definitely dine hear again when in the area. read more

The manager (Liam or Leo) was yelling at a young girl around lunch time, making our whole party feel uncomfortable. The food was good!

We've been here twice in one week we sat at the bar before going to a movie nearby. The bar is great to eat at! We have meatballs and split cacio e Pepe which we're both amazing! The pasta reminded us of cacio e pepe in Rome. So kudos for that! The bar tenders (Katie and Destiny) we very attentive and super friendly! They also made sure to keep an eye on the time so we weren't late for our movie. We had such a great experience that we decided to come back Friday night for dinner! Again, service was wonderful. Our waiter was great and joked with us but was very respectful. I have an allergy and he wasn't sure about if the chicken had pesto and instead of just going with his gut he went to double check which I appreciated. The pizza was big enough for two people to share and very good. The restaurant is very elegant inside. The downstairs patio is small but also nice and they were kind enough to turn the heaters on for us. The upstairs patio looks very fun too! We'll be back! read more

Made reservations online for 7:15 on a Friday night to celebrate Valentine's Day a little early. My boyfriend and I had a bit of a frustrating start to our dining experience but it did get turned around and I am still giving this location 5 stars. Upon arriving, we parked in the first spot out front of the restaurant and promptly went inside. I did see the sign pointing towards the location of valet but this being my first time here, I didn't realize that all the spots in front of the restaurant were valet only. We were already inside the building when valet chased us down to let us know we had to move the car or have it valeted. I didn't appreciate this but we agreed to repark up across the street and up the hill in the Kroger parking lot. We checked in on time but were told that our table wasn't quite ready yet and so we were told to grab a drink at the bar and wait for our table but the bar was packed (which is understandable for a Friday night). This left us to awkwardly stand off to the side of the bar where we were slightly obstructing kitchen traffic. I was very thankful that a nice server did come by and offer complementary glasses of Prosecco to the two of us and the other party of people also standing and waiting. I thought it was a classy touch. Once we were seated we were very well taken care of by Dustin our server. He was professional and attentive. Our meals and drinks were great (see pics). I was so happy for there to be a vegan option- I got the vegano pizza and loved the hazelnuts on it. Would love to come back but next time will prepare to valet and have a reservation again. Came for dinner tonight and left extremely impressed. Started off with braised octopus which was amazing. It was in a spicy sauce with potato. The smoked pork belly wasn't anything to rave over, it was more like dry pork loin, still good but nothing mind blowing. We were very disappointed to find out the table side pasta is only available on Tuesdays. It's why we chose this restaurant. I settled on the lasagna which was probably the best lasagna sauce I've ever had. The spinach noodles definitely get lost in all the sauce but it was excellent. Last Friday, my husband and I visited the Jingle bar on the rooftop of Tre Vele. We made a 7:30 P.M. reservation, but upon arrival we had some issues with seating. While we waited at the bar, we decided to go ahead and place a drink order. We ordered, the Jingle Juice and the Christmas Old Fashioned. Luckily the hostess, corrected the issue and sat us at a table. Once seated, our server introduced himself and brought us our drinks. This wasn't our first time here, so we knew what we wanted to order, we were excited to experience the pop-up Christmas bar. We started with the spinach salad and honey whipped ricotta. Both appetizers are always really good. For entrees, I decided to go with the cacio e Pepe with shrimp and my husband opted for the pappardelle. Both entrees were really fresh and tasty; however, my cacio e Pepe was a little overpowered by pepper. We also ordered another round of drinks. The service was a tad bit slow, but I'm assuming they were working with a limited staff that night. The food and the drinks were good. Overall, the Jingle Bar was super cute and I loved all of the holiday decor. read more

Food was terrible, overcooked mushy tasteless pasta. The seafood dish was served with half clams that did not open and a lot of bones left in bronzino that was actually not bad. We were unlucky enough to arrive 10 min early and were called to wait until the exact hour, which we did. Long story short after 25 min. wait past sacral hour we were seated in a terribly noisy environment, so noisy we could not hear the waitress. Food was served erratically, a piece at a time with long intervals. At least dishes with not fresh clams were removed from the check, which was nice. read more

I was out scooting around town & I scooted right in place. The ambiance was very nice & just the atmosphere overall. I most definitely would like to go later in the evening or night to check out the scene, but it was lunch time. Food was good, with a nice presentation. (It could have been a tad bit hotter) but I was ready to eat. I had a delightful dragonfruit mocktail (this is not on the menu) but I always get a kick out what the bartenders develop for me without the alcohol. Would I go back? Yes. Would I order the same? We got the meatball- really good but the size of them were pretty small. There's 4 per order Whipped ricotta- amazing!! My in-laws each got a salad as an appetizer, and we all shared the whipped ricotta, which is served with warm, grilled, piadina. I had read in other reviews that you have to ask for the bread service, but we did not have to ask. Our waitress brought us focaccia and olive oil with balsamic mixed in which was so yummy! My father-in-law got a Caesar salad and shared it with us, as the salads are large. My mother-in-law got the spinach salad and loved it! I ordered an item that I didn't see on the menu online: butternut squash-filled tortellini, with slices of acorn squash and pine nuts, in a brown butter sage sauce. I added chicken to it, which was very moist and tasty. We all shared some birthday cannolis at the end of the meal. It's a bit of a drive from where we live, but I would definitely go back again the next time I want some authentic Italian. read more

I can't believe I didn't come here earlier! It's so close to my apartment, but felt like a little slice of heaven. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Thursday (to ensure patio seats), but we got there around 5:45 to grab a cocktail beforehand- I had the Limoncello Spritz and it was absolutely amazing! We were seated promptly at 6:30, and the service was attentive but not too overbearing. We definitely had time to enjoy the sunset and the vibes were indeed amazing. The weather added to the ambiance, but overall it felt formal without being stuffy. I couldn't love it more if I'd designed it myself! For dinner, we started with a bottle of Chablis, which was incredible. We split an order of Cacio e Pepe and Salmon with broccolini and gnocchi for our mains-- both were absolutely delicious! The gnocchi was a surprise standout, and I'd get that individually next time it was so good. The tiramisu we had for dessert was absolutely divine. No complaints here at all. Our total bill was reasonable, especially considering we split a rather expensive bottle of wine. I think it was worth it without a shred of a doubt, and I'll most certainly be back! read more

Very casual pasta spot in Sandy Springs, I came here with a friend of mine for a midweek dinner. The ambience is low light in the evenings, and the place smells great. Between the food and the candles they definitely have the atmosphere down to a T. The drinks were OK, There was a cocktail I wanted and unfortunately it wasn't made fresh so I wasn't a fan of that, though I do know a lot of cocktails are patch made and that wasn't the issue. It just wasn't for me. We ended up getting a glass of red wine and white wine, the Cabernet was OK. I really liked the sweet potato gnocchi. I was pleasantly surprised by that and it is a side dish, only nine dollars so definitely worth it. My main dish with a veal parmigiana, I didn't get any mozzarella, but I did get fresh grated Parmesan on top and it was delicious, great flavor, not too dry. My friend got the rigatoni in a red sauce and she said she liked it. I definitely think this is a casual eatery, I wouldn't come here to really celebrate anything big, but I do like the items that I tried! read more

My friend and I visited in December for their Jingle Bar holiday pop up. The restaurant is located next to a Kroger plaza in Sandy Springs so there is plenty of parking, although you might have to walk a little. Props to them for being one of the only holiday pop ups that 1) took reservations, 2) had actual food and not just snacks/apps, 3) had free parking! Love to see it! The pop up was on their heated enclosed rooftop which was nice since it was cold out. It was decorated to the nines and even had a fire pit! It had 2 different areas and we were seated in the back room close to the fire pit. They had their full menu for the pop up and holiday cocktails. We each got a round of the polar espresso (peppermint espresso martini), pomegranate rosemary spritz (vodka, rosemary, pomegranate, prosecco), and spiked eggnog (spiced run, egg nog, vanilla, nutmeg). The cocktails were amazing and so festive! The egg nog came in a moose antler glass mug that I was obsessed with. I wanna say each cocktail was $15. For food, we got the goat cheese arancini with truffle sauce ($14) and honey whipped ricotta ($12). We probably didn't need both of those apps since they were on the heavier side. The whipped ricotta was a bit sweet for my taste, but my friend loves it. I got the fettuccine ($22) which came with a ton of mushrooms and was very rich with truffles and cream. It was really good but heavy after the 2 apps- I took half home. My friend got the spinach and ricotta ravioli which seemed like a lighter option. I've been wanting to try Tre Vele for a while because it's right down the street from where I work and I loved it! We made a reservation and didn't have to wait long to get to our table once we arrived, which was really nice because we did arrive a bit early. The pacing of the service here was fantastic, we didn't feel too rushed to order everything all at once and were able to start off with drinks for a bit, then move to appetizer, then to ordering our entrees and dessert. I had the Limoncello Spritzer and it was super refreshing and not too sweet! Both of the ravioli dishes we got were delicious. One was a short rib ravioli which had a nice acidic flavor that melded well with the meat and the other was the butternut squash ravioli with a brown butter sage sauce. The butternut squash ravioli was perfectly sweet and the brown butter sage sauce was one of the best I've had so far. Sometime the browned butter can feel separated and oily but theirs was creamy and perfectly melded with the sage. My favorite dishes of the night were the Honey whipped ricotta and the desert pasta. The sizing of the honey whipped ricotta is awesome! Lots of cheese and it's just SO good. The honey is whipped into the cheese as well as drizzled on top and it goes so well with the bread that comes with it. It's also not too heavy so it's a great way to start off your meal. The desert pasta was a special they had for Valentine's Day which was chocolate pasta with a chocolate bourbon sauce. We weren't totally sure about ordering it initially but it was great! The pasta was perfectly cooked and had a great cocoa flavor and the bourbon in the sauce gave it that nice earthy punch to cut through the sweetness of the chocolate. Inside it's very intimate with little lamps to personally light your own table and low level lighting all around so that it's easy to focus on the people that you're with. There were so many other good looking things on the menu and I can't wait to come back and try more! read more

I'm going to start the review saying that the food was good. My first time going there : service sucked! Me and some friends went there for brunch on Sunday. They got there around 2:15 and sat in the patio . I got there at 3 and : The waitress saw me coming (she was at the table) and didn't get me water or even greeted me which doesn't matter but I I'd had to wait for 10 min until the waitress came back. No one told us that both the patio upstairs and the brunch ended at 3 (including the food service !) My friends could have ordered food as soon as they got there . The waitress took for ever to bring the drinks and even the checks after telling us that we needed to go downstairs if we wanted to order food. It was not crowded so staffed was not an issue. The service downstairs was not bad. I don't think I'd go back. read more

Just adding a few things, a few friends had dinner at Tres Vele last night. The dinner was delicious One lady had the chicken piccata which had a yummy lemon sauce and plenty of leftovers. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was wonderful. I've had it in the past and the rendition is stacked, pretty to look at and oh so good to eat. Perfect for those of us who are watching our weight. One friend had difficulty finding a wine to suit her and our fabulous waiter Michael brought out 4 different wines to sample. Several of us had the Alvarino which was crisp, fruity and a taste of salt. It reminded me a sipping wine by the sea ( a La Shirley Valentine). But the hit of the evening was Michael our waiter. He turned to our meal with such ease it made the evening that much more memorable. read more

I don't know if they ran out of chicken or what happened, but the last time i checked chicken piccata was not a drumstick. Our experience was very mixed. We went for dinner and we were seated pretty quickly as we had a reservation. However the experience from then on went downhill. Our waiter took our order fairly quickly but then our drinks and appetizer's didn't come for quite a while despite us asking multiple times. And then food came to the table and surprisingly our main course came out first. We were very surprised at this and when asked, that food was taken back. Our drinks came next, one of our appetizers was missing and when asked we got a vague answer and we never received that appetizer. Overall the experience was really unpleasant. The silver lining with all of this was that the food was extremely good and we enjoyed the food that was delivered. Also as a gesture for the poor service we were given a discount on our overall bill. However was very surprised that the manager didn't come to the table to provide an explanation and apologies. read more

I've been here for two business meetings and sat upstairs. The rooftop patio is quiet and good for conversation. The service is excellent and the staff checks in the appropriate number of times. I had the branzino. It was delicious! I was not expecting it to be the whole fish. Usually branzino is a filet. I was expecting vegetables based on previous review photos but did not mind. I ordered the corn risotto as a side and it was perfectly cooked. You MUST try the whipped feta. It's heavenly and the charred pita pairs perfectly. Between my two meetings my guests have tried almost everything on the menu and everyone LOVED their food. One person got the gluten free pasta and said it was the best he's had. Tre Vele was a wonderful dine in experience for our anniversary dinner. The decor is chic with an amazing rooftop and patio. Everything we ate was delicious. I highly recommend the honey ricotta as an appetizer. It was soft, sweet, and savory. It was accompanied with pillowy pita's. My husband's veal was to die for. It was a big portion and seasoned to perfection. I personally ate the cacio e pepe which gave me a ratatouille moment It reminded me of the pasta I ate in the city of Florence. Our waiter Gabriel was attentive, kind, and accommodating. When making your reservations ask for him Regarding the desserts, they weren't bad but for my palate not great. Also, for the type of restaurant, the music selection wasn't (in my opinion) the best choice. Red Hot Chili Peppers was being played on repeat. For this type of restaurant a more tranquil/romantic playlist would be a better fit. If your in Sandy Springs and want to eat authentic Italian food, Tre Bele is the spot. read more

This is a very pleasant little bistro located in a nice area. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The biggest problem is that the portions are tiny. I was shocked to have a half small bowl of salad and half small bowl of pasta. Really more of a kids' meal size. It was a bit of a surprise. read more

I was caught off guard with this restaurant. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting. A few things I did actually like were the ambiance and service. Food was not there. I won't be back. - The oil they served with the bread didn't have any flavor, it was just plain oil. - The mushroom bruschetta was on the salty side and at first I thought the bread was burnt because of the taste. The bottom was grilled so it made the flavor taste smoky. Mixed with the saltiness of the mushrooms, it didn't sit well with me. - The Mezzalune was slightly undercooked so the pasta that wasn't filled with ricotta was hard. Also, the brown butter tasted like oil so it didn't serve the dish in anyway. It just made it sloppy. read more
