A favorite silk dress that had a oil stain on it for 5+ years, just could not bring myself to throw it away after many attempts to fix it. I even forgot to mention the stain when dropping it off. I had a dress altered for a wedding I was in. When I picked the dress up I noticed they had changed…read moreout the nice heavy duty zipper that came with the dress with a smaller zipper. When I tried to zip up the dress when it wasn't even on my body I noticed it would get stuck in the middle where there was a seam at the waist of the dress. Well I've dealt with that before so I just decided to deal with it. Well, two days later when I zipped it up for the wedding, the zipper completely split and was irreparable for the wedding. I was the MOH and NEEDED this dress so literally had to be sown into the dress. There was still space in the dress so it's not like I just didn't have room and was forcing the zipper. When I confronted the seamstress she told me it was my fault and there was nothing she could do. This dress was very expensive and I am upset that it is now unwearable ever again.
