The food was surprisingly tasty, the staff friendly and the entertainers gorgeous. I will be back next time I'm in town. Worth every dollar.

Just a whole lot of blah at this place. Layout is blah. Girls are blah. Drinks are blah. Overall, blah.

Einstein Bros. Bagels

Great bagel spot. I'm glad Einsteins decide to open a new location in the Uptown…read more The restaurant is brand new and very clean inside. As with all Eindteins they offer a wide variety of bagel options. I have been impressed with their breakfast bagel sandwich options, in particular the Signature Egg Sandwich. The staff is nice, patient and accommodating. They offer a rewards program through the app but it could definitely use some work. Seems like the most effective way to earn rewards is to order ahead through the app as they do not offer an option to upload a receipt. Hopefully this gets updated in the future.. As a side note, It would also be nice if they offered 1 day old bagels at a substantial discount in an effort to reduce waste. Overall I would encourage people to checkout the Einstein Brow. Delicious breakfast sandwich experience! I had a late breakfast at the Einstein near my…read moreneighborhood and it was spectacular! The Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich on Jalapeño bun came out piping hot, and all the flavors and textures were on point. It is a bit pricey ($9) but worth it if you're willing to cough up some cash for fast food / fast casual breakfast. I did a mobile order so there was limited interaction with staff so I can't comment too much on the service. Definitely nothing negative to describe. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious, clean, a good amount of seating, with clean restrooms. The only downside for this location is the tight parking. You will often show up with no spots open, so you may need to sit around for a few minutes until one opens up. Just circle the lot a few times and look for people walking to their cars. Just don't exit the actual parking lot onto Chimney Rock or San Felipe because you need to do all these crazy u-turns to get back into the lot. Enjoy!

After hearing non stop great things about Credence from friends and on social media, we finally…read morewent for dinner the other night to celebrate my birthday with some friends. The dining room is chic and feels very upscale but comfortable with a large open fire kitchen that was really fun to watch while dining. They were very on top of service with both our dining captain and waiter checking on us throughout the evening. For appetizers we ordered the deviled crabs, tuna tostada and wood roasted carrots. All were great but I especially loved the carrots which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. For my main course I had the chicken and dumplings, husband got the NY strip, our friends shared the whole fish and we had the cabbage and crab rice as sides. Everyone was very happy with both their main courses and the side dishes. We were too stuffed to order dessert but they sent out a s'mores inspired sunday for my birthday which was both thoughtful and sublime. Overall we were very impressed with our meal. Food was delicious but veeeery indulgent. We will be back.

We were greeted by three different people - one that took our drink order, one that cleared our plates, and one that took our order. All were very nice people and gave excellent service! I forgot their names unfortunately. My receipt said Zachary but not sure which waiter that was. Between me and hubs, we had a Pan de campo, an order of Gulf Oysters "casino", (4) dressed oysters, a 16 oz dry aged ribeye, a snapper entree and a side of crab fried rice. We finished almost everything except a quarter of the Pan, about a quarter of the rice, and about a third of the ribeye. All were great dishes and would definitely order again. We skipped dessert because honestly none stood out to us. He said their popular dessert is the souffle but they were sold out. Our total before gratuity was about $250 and that included one cocktail. Hubs had their "classic" old fashioned which he said was excellent! Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the splurge or for a special occasion!

This Galleria location on San Felipe in particular is convenient for me because I have a friend that lives in the apartments that this location is connected to. You can't go wrong with any of their pastries here. My favorites are their almond croissant, kouign-amann, sticky bun, and so much more. Pair your pastry with one of their made to order lattes and you're in for a great breakfast treat. Thanks common bond for being consistently tasty, no matter which location you go to. Yes, their prices are on the higher side, but you do get quality when you come here. Enjoy!

Also beer and wine options. This used to be a Local Foods so it is larger than the other CB real estate options. Super spacious where you're not having to be right next to another table. It's very spread out and a bit busier around lunch time but still plentiful. There's also an upstairs seating area with maybe ~9 tables. Great for a little quieter. There was a group of ladies playing mahjong, love. There is free retail parking available in the adjoining garage, just a quick walk through the courtyard shared with the apartments, spa and other restaurant. Common bond isn't my first choice for coffee but for overall rating this is superb. Will be coming back when I'm in the area 100%

We live in the area and passed by this spot so many times without even knowing The exterior is appealing and eye catching. The whole section of restaurants has a trendy and family friendly vibe. It would be the perfect spot to enjoy some outdoor bites and libations if not for the insufferable weather we have most of the year, but luckily, the interior is just as lovely. It's immaculate, well decorated, and deceptively spacious. There's plenty of booths, tables, and there's even a fully stocked bar and takeaway area The menu offers a variety of delicacies from a french dip, to pecan crusted chicken, to enchiladas. They have lovely handcrafted cocktails to choose from - some classic cocktails and some signature concoctions Everything tasted and looked great. The pecan chicken was more sweet than I expected, but still good. All of the sides were great. The cocktails looked great and tasted good. I did order one cocktail that gave ingredients but mentioned a "thick pink juice" that is made in-house, and upon my initial taste I soon discovered they meant beet juice. It wasn't bad, just unexpected and a little overpowering Our sever was good. Our orders came out quickly and without any issues. We did have to wait a while for top-offs on water. Also, as I was taking photos of the food our server was behind me and I apologized and they said "phone eats first," and I hope that was only meant in jest and not throwing shade lol Some tips: These plates aren't the most shareable, but if in a group I would consider ordering a variety of entrees and sides and trying each others meals If you're feeling something sweet after your meal, consider walking next door to Milk + Sugar. They're one of my favorite West Houston ice cream parlors Cheers!!
