Top: Chef's Scramble, Bottom: Eggs Benedict, Right: Fruit Tart

It's been a while since I got to indulge with some Common Bond. Super cute atmosphere and decor. Came for brunch and we got their Eggs Benedict, Chef's Scramble, and fruit tart. Food came out fast and fresh. The strawberry jam was so good I had to ask for more and the lady I asked for it was very nice about it. Parking in the garage in the back for easy access to walk through the courtyard and enter.

Met up with one of my friends here for lunch and I thought it was super cute. I ordered a cup of the tomato basil and half a beef braised brisket sandwich. Both were super delicious. Parking is limited but luckily I found a spot. I think I would come back here. It's a nice casual place to meet up at.

Love this bakery and bistro. Nice to be able to order a box of assorted pastries, croissants, muffins and cookies for my family or staff. This location is also a great place to meet for Coffee and Conversations hosted by Sara I. This was my first introduction to Common Bond. Nice to sit upstairs with a hot chai and a pastry and just chat about life. Thank you! Since then, I've tried so many of their delicious offerings. Their croissants are delicious. My favorite is the almond croissant filled with almond paste and covered with thinly sliced almonds. Their pistachio croissant is so beautiful and green. The scones are delicious and not too sweet. Vanilla, cranberry orange, seeded. You can choose sweet or savory. The muffins are also so fresh and delicious. Favorites are the chocolate chip and the seasonal sweet potato or pumpkin. The chocolate chip cookies are decadently indulgent. Sign up for their rewards program and emails for specials. Their $2 for a loaf of bread or $1 for a baguette was a nice surprise. The sprouted sourdough is delicious with butter or for making smoked Gouda grilled cheese sandwiches. Enjoy a macaroon on your birthday. Used to be walking distance from my office. Now a short drive, but parking is available. Common Bond. A great bistro and bakery.

Came here for a late lunch & it was such a cute place! Very spacious inside, & nice patio. They have a vast menu with different breakfast, lunch options, & dessert options. The cinnamon bread was very good, especially heated up. The portions of the salad were huge! Definitely got your money worth.

Always been a fan of Common Bond. It is a bit on the pricey scale but you do get your money's worth. Never been to this location and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it in passing and stopped by. What better way to celebrate Feb than mouthful of my fav desserts ! Got a to-go order of Matcha Raspberry Entremets. Matcha is the new way to go and this sounded perfect. It is freeze dried raspberry with matcha almond mousse, raspberry compote, white chocolate rice cereal cake ( interesting..), etc. It was exotic. It was delicious! - to the power on 10!!! The second was my all time fav, fruit tart. That is still waiting to be devoured! The open setting was very inviting and the subtle color scheme goes well with the ambiance. One more location to fulfill my sweet craving!

Wow I am IN LOVE with this location and I must say the staff make my experience grand EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Valeria, Alexis, Lily,Alejandro & Ms, Monie always make me soooo happy when I come in for my Mimosas :) It's always refreshing to stop by because the ambiance is colorful, relaxing and they have clean restrooms with seating areas available!

Crispy Pork Belly Salad, Shoestring Fries, brussel sprouts, Shrimp Po' Boy and Tomato Basil Soup 1/2 and 1/2 combo

At first glance this little bistro + bakery is super cute and comforting. Despite having a slight crowd, there are so many different seating options. The workers were all super nice and friendly. They provided a lot of advice on what to get!! Accidentally our food was served to-go at first but they replated it for us!! For food, we got the crispy pork belly salad, shoestring fries with truffle and parmesan, brussel sprouts, and the shrimp po boy with tomato basil. The 1/2 and 1/2 combo with the sandwich and soup is a good deal if you want to try more than one thing. The other items we got were good too and my mom really liked them. Overall, it's a cute place to study, catch up with friends, or grab a bite to eat.

Was so excited when this opened and ran over to see it. Gorgeous and giant with tons of seating inside and some umbrella covered tables outside! It was very clean inside and the bathrooms were clean! Parking was easy and there was plenty. As for the food! I got the tomato burrata sandwich and the plain fries and the crispy Brussels sprouts. Tomato burrata sandwich was great, it was a bit light on the balsamic jelly though. Fries were good but missing some salttt. The crispy Brussels sprouts (usually my favorite thing from common bond) were undercooked raw and hard to chew. Drink was not my favorite but I've never had a coffee I enjoyed at a common bond so it might be my personal taste. This visit was around their opening so I expect they've improved and look forward to returning!

This is our usual place to go for coffee. I love their pastries and food. I am very picky about salmon Benedict and they for sure have one of the best ones. Staff is always friendly and nice. I recommend! Texas sandwich is good too.

The food it good and the coffee too. Very nice environment also! Next time I'll have to try the ham and cheese sandwich.

This is such a cozy and lovely location of Common Bond Bistro & Bakery. In fact, this location is probably my favorite within the greater Houston area! It is so open, colorful, warm and inviting with the café. Nestled within the vibrant and upbeat neighborhood of Tanglewood. They've got plenty of indoor garage parking that is steps away from the café. Perfect. No need to fight for parking. A quiet and serene location that surrounds itself within the grounds of an apartment building. This location in particular opened up over the previous summer season, and until then, it remains clean with friendly and cordial customer service. I love the decorated atmosphere with the hues of blue, pink and yellow. The décor brings upon a soft and inviting atmosphere, perfect for catching up with friends or reading/working. Santiago and fellow crew members are wonderful. This bistro location of Common Bond has a decent selection of both savory and pastry items. I have tried a few of their savory items, and they were all delectable. Their soups in particular are some of my favorite. Pair it with a baked bread? Lush. Their pistachio croissants, as well as their macarons, brownies and cookies are the repeated sweet items you will find at any of their bakery locations. Just as tasty, sweet and memorable. I enjoy their café lattes and look forward to their seasonal latte menu. Cappuccinos? Perfect. Those go straight to my heart. Give this location a try, you will love it. They also have a quiet section upstairs where you can chat over coffee and conversations... you get what I'm sayin? Until next time! ;)

Most of the tables were dirty. Service was very slow despite employees just standing around and the food wasn't worth the wait. The chicken was super greasy and over fried

I get strawberry & lemonade very good taste & cold.

Thankfully, Mark was there and initially was told a 35 minute wait but seemed intent by quicker. Ambiance: 4/5 It was breakfast time so of course it was a busy time. For my visit, it was crowded but not to where you couldn't hear your table. Dress is casual, good for friends, solo, or pit stop. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Since it was our first visit there, she gave us some background that it was a Pappa's owned restaurant and food is made from scratch. Food: 3/5 They offer mimosas and I was tempted to order, but was driving and it was 9AM so forewent that option. There are food options for every tastebud. Mark ordered the fried cheese sticks, they were one of the items that I found worthwhile to return for. I opted for the Waffle feast. It included a waffle, that I added pecans on top to, two strips of bacon, eggs your way and hash browns. To say that I needed to add salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns because they tasted bland and flavorless was unfortunate. It also was served at room temperature, because it was made from scratch, would think it be warmer to hot. The waffle was savory and had good mix and topped with the pecans made it even better. If you're on this side of town and want a change up from the "other breakfast diners" DOT would be where I stop. Fast, friendly service. Depending the food you get, it gets the job done for some sustenance to hold you over when you're not sure when your next meal is because you'll be in Galveston for 7 hours riding a float in the Mardi Gras parade.

I wanted to start with one biscuit, but the biscuits come in pairs. The waitress said I could order just one anyway, but the order ended up being two. I meant to save the second one for breakfast, but that was not to be. It did not survive long enough to make it out the door. My actual meal was a bacon swiss and mushroom burger, which was excellent. Between the biscuits and the burger, I am forced to acknowledge that it was entirely too much food. Sadly, that did not prevent me from eating all of it anyway. Delicious! The restaurant, which is a diner with very basic decor, is on an approach road to IAH, and is open 24/7. When I arrived in the evening, the place was empty. By the time I left, there were a whole bunch of customers. I noticed in other reviews that people were saying they did not receive checks for their meal and felt they were over-charged at the register. Mr. Picky ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp while I opted for Veal Parmigiana, and we each stole a bite from the other's plate. We finished lunch with an order of homemade bread pudding and tiramisu, the latter of which in 2012 won a chamber of commerce epicurean competition 1st place ribbon. I wasn't there to judge that competition and have had better, but sincerely appreciated the moistness of the bread pudding. While the majority of diners were older and a more mature crowd, there's a lot to be said for value, and we thought the menu price was better than reasonable and I think a lot of people will discover this as a value destination, something we all appreciate.
