Ooey Gooey Butter Cake and Strawberry and Cream

Great ice cream. Really enjoyed the Starwberry & Cream flavors but the texture could have been creamier.

My son and I were visiting Vancouver a few weeks ago and stopped in after our dinner to enjoy some ice cream with our friends. The line was pretty long, but it moved fairly quickly and it was a pretty night. I had the most amazing ice cream! I chose the birthday cake and chocolate brownie combination. I think the way they write up the description is truly all inspiring! It was so much ice cream. I couldn't eat it all and the price was really quite fair. I cannot wait to go back!

We popped in after dinner at Dediko as it's right next door. They have some outstanding flavors. Was excited to try a new ice cream shop. This is a place to try out unique blends with a rotating menu of ice cream scoops. No shakes here and it's order for take out only. No tables inside. I ordered the rhubarb option. I'd be open to coming back and trying other flavors. Daughter really enjoyed the banana nilla flavor and husband enjoyed the salted peanut butter cup option. I may have just picked poorly and in my head I was comparing it to my favorite salt and straw rhubarb anise flavor and it just didn't compare at all as it's more of a vanilla with jam ribbons.

We had lunch nearby, so walked over here for dessert. So many yummy and unique sounding flavors. Sampled some flavors. It was really hard to decide, so I went with a scoop of a seasonal flavor and my go-to flavor, chocolate chip cookie dough. Service was excellent, and ice cream was delicious.

    Mint oreo and chocolate brownie

I kept seeing people walking by with ice cream from this place on my way to dinner, and knew I had to try it for dessert. It's in a nice location that's pretty convenient to access, and theres tables outside for you to sit at. They offer samples of the flavors which I really appreciated since I can be quite indecisive, and while I sampled a few I knew I had to go with my classic go-to flavors. I got the split scoop with mint oreo and chocolate brownie, both of which were SO delicious. The ice cream was the perfect texture and sweetness, and the flavors were so spot on and well balanced. I also loved the generous amounts of oreo / brownie mixed in with it. This might be one of my new all time favorite ice cream spots

They do split single scoops! Great for enjoying multiple flavors without getting a sugar coma. Lots of fun flavors here. I'd describe it as a more sophisticated Salt & Straw where the flavors are still kinda weird but more subtle and nuanced. There's some nice seating outside and plenty of parking around. The inside is pretty small so you might get stuck waiting in a line in whatever weather it is the day you go. So good. So worth it. You won't regret whatever you get.

first time to trade! Bookmarked this on my trip to portland recently, and made the drive up to Vancouver just to try this and visit the waterfront. Ice cream was pretty good, the ice cream had pieces of the actual cereal on top. Service was awesome, they gave samples! Ambience is a normal corner ice cream place better than regular commercial scooping!

I have to review Treat again because it is one of my favorite ice cream shops! I went here about a year ago for the first time and I visited it again yesterday. It was just as amazing as the first time I had it! This time I had a single split scoop of the peanut butter cup ice cream and the coffee ice cream. The peanut butter cup ice cream had big pieces of chocolate, mini peanut butter cups, and crunchy peanut butter bites. The crunchy peanut butter bites reminded me of butterfingers. There was a lot of mix-ins, which is exactly how I like my ice cream. The coffee ice cream had an amazing coffee flavor. I am a coffee lover so this ice cream was perfect for me. The mix-in in this flavor was crunchy chocolate covered toffee pieces. The ice cream in both of these flavors was so creamy, rich, and delicious. This ice cream is unreal.

    Peach Cobbler Ice Cream

This place has some of the best ice cream I've ever had. I visited in August and got a peach cobbler ice cream and it was so good. I think about it at least every other month. I work for an ice cream company this is still one of the best I've had if that tells you anything. There was good seating outside. Be prepared for a line on a hot evening. The service was great! I wish I could have that specific flavor again (it was seasonal).

    Banana and Nilla wafer
    Amy A.

Great little ice cream shop. I had the bananas and Nilla wafer scoop. It was very rich and creamy and tasted like fresh banana. The waffle cones are made there fresh. Hubs had the old-school chocolate and vanilla swirl even though they were very busy. They were still very friendly and let us try. Several samples would definitely recommend and go back again.

The shop is small but the ice cream is amazing. We were visiting from out of town and I saw the yelp reviews but wasn't convinced. We saw a line wrapped around the corner and are so happy we stopped. The let you sample the flavors and I went with the coffee toffee and strawberries and cream. Mind you, I usually get 1 scoop but both flavors were just so good that I couldn't choose. I also had to get in a waffle cone for aesthetic photos. Everyone walking out was happy and once you have one, you'll know why.

Happy people with Treat ice cream!!!!

Are they still open? Even when I go during their open hours, the store is always closed.

Do they still serve donuts? If they do how much are they? Any new seasonal? I'm so excited to try them! 😫

From their Instagram page @treatvancouver , Looks like the donuts were maybe a summer seasonal offering? They have frosted seasonal cookies now to offer. Check out their Instagram page for updates…

Does anyone know how to get in touch with this bakery to place an order? They don't list a phone number anywhere. I found an old one but it is not in service.

My husband paid while I went to the bathroom and he kinda made a comment about 25 bucks for two ice creams, which surprised me as well. Until she gave us the ice cream. My Mt St Helens was three largish scoops with a delightfully large amount of toppings. His ice cream cone came in one of the largest cones I've ever seen. It's thicker and crispier than commercial so I think they make their cones in house! But the rockstar is the ice cream itself. I grew up in the area and so I'm very familiar with northwest flavors. This ice cream is like my childhood in a scoop. The ice cream has enough fats to give a nice mouth feel and I'm not even sure they use Guar gum or carrageenan. The honey tastes local. Even the raspberry syrup tastes like raspberries off the side of a country road that are ripe but not too ripe. That sweet sour taste. If you are traveling through or a guest of this town, you have to try the ice cream.

The shop interior is cute and minimal, and they have number of two-person tables outdoors on their patio. We got a couple of items: the fruity pebbles, the Biscoff, and the watermelon. It was very helpful to have photos of the items at the counter. Nevertheless, we ordered too much - they were HUGE. We should have split. But we all loved the bingsu - the actual shaved milk is not too sweet and the toppings add the flavor. So the watermelon was a little less sweet overall as the fruit was the flavoring since there was no syrup. The fruity pebbles and the Biscoff were a little bit more sweet and layered throughout, which is what I wanted.

The cup design also seemed impractical, since all the toppings were piled high and at risk of falling over while eating. Still, I will 1000% be back to try more flavors!!
