I was totally upset and worked up when I called VEG ER, but…read morethe gentleman on the phone was incredibly kind and calm. When I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and organized the building was. The open concept floor was not what I was expecting but it was really awesome being with my dog every step of the way. The gentleman that helped us offered a bed for my dog to lay on, which was good because we waited like 5 hours. They offer snacks, drinks, as well as blankets for humans because it gets quite cold in there. Everyone there was kind and friendly. You could really tell they were dedicated to their job and providing the best experience for their patients. My princess loved being able to watch everyone walk around her and was completely content. The doctor even sat with her when we were finally seen so she wouldn't have to be moved. :) All the staff talked to her like a baby whenever they addressed her which made me happy too. Really shows they love animals. Paid about $660 to find out she didn't have a lot of poop in her, but the peace of mind was worth it. Getting to see how they take x-rays was cool too, even if my poor baby had to be manhandled hehe. The bill was much cheaper than I expected, which was nice. It was for the initial exam and the x-rays. Would highly recommend coming here for a transparent, wonderful experience!

My cat had a urinary block, which they were able to identify with an ultrasound immediately. I'm very thankful for that. BUT they priced us VERY expensively for a procedure I was able to get done at another vet clinic for half the price. $7-8000 was what we were quoted from them for a urinary blockage clearing and surgery to remove the stones I was able to go to VCA Bradshaw the same evening and get the same surgery for $4k. I love my cat and considered the option of putting him down due to me not being able to afford the surgery. I'm so thankful that I was able to save my cat for a price I was able to afford with VCA Bradshaw.

For example, I had an appointment for my dog over a month ago. While there, I completely forgot to ask about the flea medication Bravecto, which is available only by prescription and requires a doctor's visit before you get the prescription. I just called the office and asked if they'd be willing to write the script for Bravecto since I forgot to inquire during the appointment, and they were like 'yes, absolutely!' My last vet wouldn't do that, even though I had just had an appointment and a full exam less than two months prior. They made me schedule another appointment for $110 and then get the script, which is already expensive, costing (at that time) around $70 bucks, so I wasn't happy having to pay $180 bucks essentially to obtain the flea medication. The doc at Bruceville Pet Hospital understood that I had just had an appointment, so he didn't need to see my dog again. Pricing is very reasonable here, which is important when everything else is so unreasonably expensive! As a consumer who loves her dog, I truly appreciate not being price-gouged. That said, if you're looking for a veterinarian with an excellent, supportive staff, I highly recommend Bruceville Pet Hospital!

Here's your review, organized but with the fire kept in:…read more **Zero stars if I could. BE AWARE.** I've had pets for over 20 years and have never experienced anything like this. This clinic used to be wonderful -- under the previous ownership (about a year ago), the staff was helpful and the doctors genuinely cared about my cats, giving me real options for their care. Since the new company took over, it's been nothing but problems. **The bloodwork runaround:** My cat had bloodwork done in December 2025. I was told that wasn't recent enough (even though it was only 5 months old), so I brought him in again in May. Then in July, I tried to refill his thyroid medication -- a medication he's been on, that requires bloodwork every 6-12 months -- and it was denied. **The "medical director" ghost:** I was told I hadn't gotten bloodwork done in May. After I pushed back, they admitted I actually had. So I asked why I needed it done again in July when their own policy says every 6-12 months. I asked to speak directly with the medical director and was refused -- instead, a staff member (not a doctor, not in charge) kept relaying messages back and forth. Eventually she came back and told me the medical director "doesn't feel comfortable treating my cat anymore" and dropped us as patients. **All of this -- after 6 years as a client, and over a routine medication refill for bloodwork he'd already completed.** This company is greedy, cold, and unhelpful. They are not interested in giving people real options for their pets' care, especially in their senior years. I've been going to this vet for 6 years and have never felt so disrespected and dismissed. Now I'm left scrambling to find a new vet for my 17-year-old cats. **If you're considering this place -- don't. If you're already a client -- leave. Be aware. Be very aware.**

At this point, they truly feel like extended family. What stands out most is the combination of knowledge and compassion. They take the time to explain things clearly, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with decisions -- you never feel rushed, and you always feel heard. They've been there for the happy moments and also the incredibly hard ones. When we've had to say goodbye to pets, they were even able to come to our home to provide end-of-life care. That level of kindness meant more than I can really put into words, and it's something that's very hard to find. They've not only cared for my pets, but also cared for animals belonging to my parents over the years, so in many ways they've watched me grow from high school into adulthood and now almost 50, through multiple generations of pets. That kind of history creates a level of trust that's priceless. The office is clean, the staff is warm and professional, and you can tell everyone there genuinely cares about the animals they treat. If you're looking for a vet team that combines expertise with real compassion, this is a special place.

Even though my Pomeranian and small poodle are terrified of this place, and pant/shiver with fear the whole time, the care has been really great by Doctor Purewal has been really good to us and listens carefully to all my concerns and questions . There's never been a time where I feel dissatisfied with the care that I am receiving. I get reminders about upcoming vaccinations and annual check ups. It's also pretty easy to get on the schedule if something comes up. I'll be left detailed voice messages if I need to know some information and can call back if I need to. Great vet office and great care. It's a little small inside with only two exam rooms and a small lobby. Would recommend coming here for your pets.

After trying multiple solutions at home without success, we brought her in to see Dr. Singh. He thoroughly evaluated her and determined there were no medical concerns--it was behavioral. We eventually realized she was being bullied by another cat in the household, made the necessary adjustments, and the issue gradually resolved. More recently, we brought in our senior cat for a comprehensive wellness exam (who lost weight). Dr. Singh completed a full workup, including bloodwork and a urinalysis, which revealed the need for more advanced evaluation with an internal medicine specialist. Dr. Singh is direct, thorough, and thoughtful in his approach. He asked detailed questions--including whether our cat may have been exposed to anything at home--and clearly communicated the urgency of seeking specialized care. The staff is consistently friendly, accommodating, and responsive, which makes a stressful situation much easier to navigate.

Previously I took both dogs in for tech apportionments. One for a nail trim which was $45. Insane in my opinion but whatever. Then the my other pet for a cytopoint injection. After I paid I noticed a $25 tech fee added to my bill. Since when are we charging for tech appointments? I have worked at a hospital and been to multiple hospitals for my pet and have NEVER been charged for a tech appointments. It's ridiculous and just another way for them to get more money from you. Today we took our pet in for another cytopoint injection and he needed a prescription of trazodone. We needed the liquid kind which they don't have there so they would have to write one. Of course they required an exam. They then were requiring bloodwork for trazodone. We declined the bloodwork and asked to sign a AMA (against medical advice) form. They wouldn't allow that. When asked for a refund on the exam because the only reason we got it done was for the prescription they said no because we signed the estimate. Absolutely ridiculous and poor business practice. This place is a scam. You bring your dog in for skin issues and they try to give you a $1000 bill everytime. Nickel and dime you anywhere they can. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone and will not be back

They were excellent when my mom and I brought our 2 dogs back in 2024 but last year the exams were very quick and it felt like the doctor barely checked our dogs out. They also seem to give inconsistent guidance and requirements when it comes to pet exams. One of my dogs gets bad seasonal allergies and we take them in to get cytopoint shots every other month or so during the spring and summer months. They told us at first exams were only needed once a year even when getting cytopoint shots but the last time I tried to get them in for just the shot they told me they needed to do another exam even though it was done 6 months ago. They tried to tell me issues like allergies and cytopoint require an exam every 6 months instead of 12 which, again, was never required here or at any other vet we've been to before. My mom wasn't satisfied with our last visit either and they tried to reach out about her negative review but she didn't want to deal with them anymore. They also consistently spam my inbox with reminders to bring my dogs in long before they actually need to be seen so I think it's time we look elsewhere for a different vet.
