They seemed overworked and just not happy to see us or a big Golden-doodle. They then said that my dog's ears would have to be shaved due to mats after about two seconds of feeling them. Don't get me wrong, there were some mats but not excessive to the point of shaving. Our pup has thick beautiful hair and there was no thorough inspection done. She literally felt them for 5 seconds and said we have to shave them. #lazy We are extremely busy and don't always do a good job of brushing daily, but we do try. My wife left her there anyway but then we decided no we are not shaving her ears. So we went back to pick her up. The associate then treated my wife rudely asking well what are you going to do. She simply said I'll use a special brush and comb to fix her ears and they asked are you taking her somewhere else. My wife said yes we were taking her somewhere else. At that point they said they could do that but it would cost more and we have to pay up front. No thank you at this point. They should have inspected more closely, wanted to put in the effort to keep my dog sexy and offered that to begin with. And by the way, we were willing to pay extra for the help. We get it. But to simply say we have to shave them, no. My wife came home and spent about 30 minutes and got all mats out and she is now ready to get a wash. All I want out of a groomer is one that is happy to see us, one we can trust to make our pups look great and they try to make the dogs feel comfortable and pampered. That was not the vibe today and we will have to look for a new groomer down the road. Maybe it was due to it being late on a Friday but if that's the case they need to do a better job at booking the appointments.

The store is consistently well-stocked and neat, so it's usually pretty easy to find what I'm looking for. I always love visiting when they have cats that are available for adoption. It's hard not to fall in love with each and every fuzzy face! I honestly wish I could take all of them home with me. It's really nice to see a store supporting pet adoption and helping animals find loving homes! Attention doggie owners: there's a self-service dog wash station. Though I don't have a dog, I imagine it'd be much easier here than trying to bathe your pup in the sink or tub at home. Another bonus: they send out coupons via snail mail. The owner is over the top crazed about drop offs or pick ups that are not at the scheduled time and cannot tolerate change, so if you live miles away and you can't exactly figure out your time to site you will be chastised and told to not do that. I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE ANYMORE. It cost too much money to board the pups there and deal with terrible customer service, paying for additional days because of limited pick-up times is too much for me. The dogs might like it, but I don't.
