Love the food and atmosphere. Certain nights live music adds to the experience. Also enjoy the pool table.

I see all the negative reviews. And I can only speak of my experience. But I had a decent meal in…read morethis admitted, "hole in the wall." This is definitely a "country" place. Nothing fancy. Has a diner like feel with green vinyl booths and pub lighting. There is a separate sports bar type concept across the hall from the regular restaurant. Very much a basic grill and sandwich type of place. They have cheeseburgers, various types of breaded/fried chicken, steaks. Ham and turkey sandwiches and hoagies. They have lunch plates serving up things like honey sriracha salmon, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, etc. Apps include cheese sticks, jalapeño poppers, ahi tuna. They have a setup where you can do their salad bar, soup and salad, soup and half a sandwich, and various types of prepared salads. They have daily specials as well, which is what I ordered from. I had the bacon pimento cheeseburger medium, and it was cooked appropriately and well-seasoned. The pimento wasn't quite melted, but was still pretty good. Bacon was perfect. Large portion and I only ate half and took the other half home. The fries were fantastic! My meal cost without tip was 21 dollars, and I consider that a great deal. Other specials included fried pickle chips, lemon herb cod, blackened chicken Alfredo, sweet potato casserole, California chicken salad. Service was on the southern side of slower, but attentive. My server even got me a Diet Coke in a to go cup as a courtesy, without being asked. Most of my time over the last five years has been spent in New York and other metro cities. Don't walk into this place expecting a Michelin star restaurant. It's a homey rural feel with down to earth people and decent food. Take it for what it is and enjoy the kitschy southern atmosphere.

Food quality was poor, napkins stunk like rancid grease! I…read moremet people here for lunch and needless to say, I was embarrassed with the quality of food! Sad!

I wanted a cheese steak sub. A good cheese steak sub and I found one. I had to go to Vidalia, GA…read morebut it was worth the drive. From the outside storefront facade to the small homey interior, it was a delight. I was welcomed by Ms. Annette Collins and Chef/Grill Master Matthew. Ms. Annette carefully, correctly, and efficiently took my order. With guidance from Grill Master Matthew. The wait was approximately 10 minutes and the result was a masterwork. Soooooo yummy! So huge!! So much steak!!! I can't wait to come back and try the cupcakes as well as every other sub on the menu. And I will. This is my second favorite sub shop outside of Dublin, GA's Brian's Giant Subs. In conclusion, if you're passing through Vidalia, GA, do yourself a favor, stop in and be prepared for steaky greatness.

This place is most definitely on my top 5 list in the rankings of "Best Philly cheesesteak in Georgia." I have been driving around looking for this place since I came to the area for work about a month ago. It's hard to find because it seems to be hidden in plain sight in a nondescript store front in the old town / Main Street area of downtown Vidalia. The small store is a mom and pop operation and they ship their bread in from Philadelphia on a daily or weekly rotation. The particular sandwich I had was phenomenal (all the way cheese steak with hot peppers). Now that I have found it, I plan to make it my go to spot whenever I'm craving a Philly cheesesteak.

I was always a little wary of this place because it doesn't look like much from the outside. But…read morethe inside is clean, and my hot ham & cheese was nice and fresh. I liked that it came with a giant pickle spear... haha. I had a cold when I went there, so I couldn't taste very well. But what I could taste was excellent, and I'm already thinking about what I'll order next time from the extensive menu. Larry's is a great alternative if you're tired of Subway. Update: No pickles with a to-go order? That's lame. We also discovered that the drinks are waaaaay too expensive. Water it is. But we still love the sandwiches.

Better than Subway - as they offered more variety to put into one's salad or sub. You pay a few dollars more than Subway, but it was basically decent, and they gave you a big slice of pickle on the side. And they gave you a points card that everytime you went in and ordered a salad or sub, when enough points were accumulated, you'd get a free salad or sub. So when enough points were accumulated, I happily handed my fully checkedm off card and ordered a Sally Sherman Egg Salad salad with the usual Egg and Mayonaise mix egg salad. But when the salad was brought to y table, I looked down at the salad and saw ONE HARD BOILED cut in half and each of the two little egg halfs were neatly placed in the upper left and upper right corner of the salad. No egg and mayonaise mix egg salad! This happened around 2012, 14 years ago. Such a rip off scam. I have only frequented the place ONCE in 14 years, to see if there were any possible improvements. Just saw the prices jacked up to the Moon! The place is just an over promoted rip off joint. Won't be going back ever again! Avoid Larry's Giant Subs and save yourself the grief. This is just the cheese I was able to eat around. The yucky lettuce went into the trash.
