Starting with the room: (we were in Quissett) we had a super comfy and plush king size bed with a bathroom on the small side. I'd say the one caveat/warning I have is for light sleepers - since you are a throwing rock's distance away from the ferry, you will likely hear the ferry fog horn each time it leaves the port. The remainder of the building was so cute and quaint with beautiful floors, and the best breakfast. You cannot miss their homemade granola which pairs perfectly with the yogurt. They had different main dishes everyday including quiches, scrambled eggs, and egg bakes, as well as desserts (the cranberry bread was our favorite) and fresh fruit. It was all amazing, and the coffee was solid! Parking was literally right behind the building. You are right in Woods Hole walking distance from several eateries. We didn't get any bikes to explore further but I would recommend looking into this! Above all, I cannot speak highly enough of how kind and helpful all the staff were. The staff are amazing -- extremely hospitable, accommodating and go the extra mile to make you feel at home and cozy. I stayed at the Harbor House, which is just up the hill on the property. Although my room wasn't facing the harbor, it was clean and QUIET! Which I appreciated since I'm a light sleeper. I was running low on toothpaste and had forgotten shaving cream but that didn't stop the staff from stepping in and providing me shaving cream, toothpaste AND a toothbrush. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for easy check-in, friendly staff that feel like family, and an extremely convenient location in the heart of Woods Hole.

We checked in a discovered a cute beachy room. They had a record player with beach themed records....so fun. They also had a rooftop space to hang out and enjoy the views. We did end up next to a room with an infant. We could hear the baby cry for over 1.5 hrs at which point we asked for another room as figured the infant may be up several times through the night. They graciously allowed us to switch rooms and were very apologetic. The lady at the desk did not hassle us at all. I'm very appreciative for such a wonderful stay at Falmouth Tides.

One bed had greenish, brown stain on the inner. The other had a reddish stain on the top cover. Perhaps because of the white sheets stains are always harder to remove. But the amount of stains was something I've never experienced before. Because of that; 4 stars. Also the bathroom is tiny, no room to put anything on the counters or in the shower really...Not a big deal to me, but may be to some. The last couple of things- the walls are very thin, and smells leak through the doors and windows-the air smelled of weed frequently.

Updating my review because I had another great stay with Inn on the Square…read more I had to divide my weekend stay into 2 different reservations because I needed to use points. I explained to the front desk attendant upon checkout that I have 2 reservations in 2 different rooms and he upgraded us to their suite so that we could stay in one room the whole weekend. Not only was this super nice of him to do, but it was so convenient for us that we didn't have to unpack to repack and unpack again. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel & the friendly employees. Parking is free and always available, they have a indoor pool & a nice courtyard in the back with firepits. Its also in a great location where you can walk to many places. I highly recommend choosing the Inn on the Square!

The Coonamessett is a great option for dog-friendly hotel rooms or medium-to-large event spaces…read more We rented the Double Queen Suite for a weekend for our bride and groom's suite, as it was extremely well-lit and spacious enough for my eight groomsmen to get ready with me. It was a little surprising that a room with such a large common space would have two queen beds instead of a king bed, though. The staff, including housekeeping, did a great job making us feel like guests of honor all weekend long, with a bride and groom welcome setup and several refreshes of the room while we were away. We were also able to book one of the dog-friendly rooms at the last minute, in which my mom stayed with our dog. There was lots of green space on and off the property for our dog to explore on walks. The Coonamessett also hosted our morning-after-the-wedding buffet breakfast, which we coordinated through their special events team five months before the wedding. The food was pretty good, nothing special, but was a little on the pricier side (to be expected for a wedding-related event). Since they weren't hosting a wedding on-site that weekend, we were able to use the entire ballroom space. A couple hotel guests wandered in and grabbed a plate before we informed them it was a private event. The Coonamessett even opened the bar for our guests (my niece and nephew said the espresso martinis were good!).
