In town for business staying near Treehouse. Have already been 3 times in less than a week. Everything Ive tried was great but stuffed jalapenos and Zombie burger stole the show. Cannot get orders correct and service is horrid!!!! You order a BLT and you do not receive the tomato nor the dressing on the side that you asked for with the waitress. Never refilled water or asked if I wanted another drink. Never asked if everything was ok. Then you mention three was no tomato on the BLT, she said sorry and charged me full price. This place has very good food! Pizza was amazing and nachos are awesome too! The waiters seem not very enthusiastic but i had an amazing waiter named Andrea (recommend her). This place is overcrowded a very small space and no tables for 6! it is hard to walk around and only has one bathroom. when you walk in it is very loud so it is hard to have a conversation. a tree takes up a big tables space also. aside from that, food was amazing!! all food is awesome here!! read more

This was horrendous at the very start and I was simply standing at the host / hostess stand. I called 5 min before to ask if they could get 2 people in, they replied with a for sure we can, no wait at all. I get up to the restaurant and walk in and say that we are a party of 2 and are greeted with a wonderful oh that's going to be 30-45 min. I then proceeded to say that I just called and was told they would be able to get us in right away, which to no surprise, told that it would be 30-45 min. Poor management found a way to screw up good food and excellent service. The first step in the blame game goes to the kitchen staff for serving up a hamburger on a regular bun, when it had been ordered with a gluten free bun (my wife has diet restrictions that mandate gluten free for health reasons). The plate was returned to the kitchen, only to surface with a grilled gluten free bun that was still cold in the middle. By know the hamburger was approaching sub-zero temperatures if you know what I mean. We asked to talk with the manager who made excuses for why they can not properly heat a gluten free bun - - - and she made no attempt to remedy the situation by offering a free drink or a discount on the meal - - - even after visiting our table where it was obvious that my dinner had been consumed long before my wife's meal was finally served up. We would not hurry back anytime soon to the Treehouse, there are other dining choices available where the staff exercises more care & professionalism. read more

Terrible service, slow, loud, parking is not good. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich. It was not pulled pork as stated in the menu. It was served like a panini, and he said it was cold in the middle. He also felt sick later. I had a hamburger, not the best. Fries served with the sandwiches were like crinkle cut Ore-Idas I can buy bake in my oven. Very expensive lunch for the quality received. Extremely disappointed . A girlfriend and I went there for a few drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere. But the bartender kept "hitting on us" and would not leave us alone. then some old man, who I found out was one of the owners, came around and wouldn't leave us alone. Stopping in for a late lunch before leaving town, three of us tried the Treehouse at 4 pm. Since two people were at the bar, two were at a table and there were FOUR servers, TWO bartendeders, a person who appeared to be a manager and another man we assume was an owner we thought we'd be able to have a quick meal. So wrong. After seating us with menus 15 minutes past without so much as eye contact from the 8 employees. At this point we left, to a chorus of "thank yous" from the employees. The assumed owner chased us to the car offering lunch, but we decided to cut our loses. When the staff out numbers the customers you do expect a bit more. read more

We've been here twice and had great food and a wonderful time on the patio both times. Our meals have been consistently great and the service was top notch for such a relaxed, casual place. We plan to ride our bikes there next time since it's right in the trail and bike friendly. I recommend the pulled pork nachos, Cobb Salad, and any of the pizzas. Very good concept, they've done a very nice job with the location. I've had the pizza twice and it has been very good and I've gone in a few more times, just for drinks. The advice I would give, is that the bar owner should never be the drunkest person in the bar. More often than not, the owner is visibly drunk and it isn't the best for business. read more

Me and my family went here about a week ago to celebrate my fiancé and her sister birthday, it was THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! First when we called to set a reservation for an igloo, the guy was talking like a squirrel, like he didn't know what he was doing. Finally we set a time. We went and had to wait almost an hour after the time we was told to be there. Finally we were seated, hungry from waiting, we ordered some appetizers. Some came and tasted STALE and was cold. The waitress was so sweet and kind but her attitude started to change as the night went on I felt as though she was over worked. As we continued our night there , the manager came in , and expected us to give him a cushion for another group, mind you we had about 10 people in our group, so why did he feel the need to take from our group? I believe he was racist because my fiancé family is black and the people the manager gave it to was white. That really was disrespectful and unprofessional. We order other food , most came out over cooked and cold. We finally left and the manager was by the door telling people bye. It was very CLEAR that he had been drinking by how he was talking and the way he walked . He wasn't making any sense and his breath smelt like liquor. So long story short , I will never be eating here again ! The food is not worth the money, and the atmosphere is horrible. They are CLEARLY racist , and also the manager CLEARLY drinks on the job. read more

My husband and I have dined here a number of times and have experienced good food and good service. Our only issue has been our interactions with the owner, he seems to enjoy the libations the restaurant serves as much as his customers do. This has led to some unpleasant meals and awkward conversations as he enjoys interacting with his patrons while they are eating their meals. Just had a buddy take me to eat here Friday night for dinner. We got there at 5:30 and the parking lot was full. There is very limited parking near the restaurant because spots around are reserved for neighboring businesses. There is a lower level lot but have to walk up a very steep ramp to get back to grade with the area of the restaurant. In front of each business in the strip mall, their pad of concrete in front of their door is raised up about 1 1/2 inches the width of their entrance doors and then the edges spray painted bright yellow to warn you of a tripping hazard. Why the hell design a tripping hazard into the design of a brand new strip mall area. Seriously?!? Anyways, got in the door and one party of 3 in front of us. They just cleaned a table for two and we were seated in 3 minutes. Then people started pouring in and backing up outside on the park benches. I had heard the white cheese curds with raspberry jalapeno sauce were to die for, so ordered those and two pops while perusing the menu. He decided on the Italian beef sandwich with fries and Au Jus. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with cole slaw. We had our questions answered by our knowledgeable waitress. One was, does the Italian beef come with provolone cheese, none is mentioned on the menu. Add some if it does not, she said, no it does not have cheese. (Figured extra charge). Is the gardineria on the side and not strewn on top the sandwich? I was pretty sure my friend would not like the hot veggie mix. He was unfamiliar with gardineria. Yes, it is on the side. Good. I was wondering about the Cuban being pressed since the menu just says on a turano bun. I had researched their menu online earlier in the day and Googled term "turano" bread. It is a family-owned commercial bakery in Berwyn, IL, Chicagoland area, that provides restaurants and the food service industry with artisan, home-style baked, quality breads. Many varieties from foccacia to ciabatta, from brioche, to sourdough, from plain to herbed. Treehouse uses their sliced panini bread fresh delivered, not frozen. We waited for our cheese curds for a bit, and then here comes a "runner" girl, not our waitress, and delivered our sandwiches and sides. I was expecting the cheese curds and raspberry sauce to come first, which were not included in the delivery, so I questioned. Our waitress stopped by very quickly to check on us and I asked why weren't our cheese curds brought before the dinners? We have sandwiches but no cheese curds. She said, "What the hell!!?" And ran away quickly to return in a minute with the order of cheese curds. Well, I was somewhat disappointed, that they weren't bubbling hot and forgotten about. The first few we had were hot and gooey, but they were cooling quickly and became hard and chewy for the last half of the order. We didn't finish the last third honestly. The raspberry jalapeno sauce is excellent. You can even see the little seeds in the bottom of the cup. Not too hot either. My Cuban was fantastic! Tons of pulled pork, ham, yellow mustard galore and piles of dill pickles, all smashed under a panini press. Then on the side in a stainless steel shot glass was a sweet honey mustard made with yellow mustard and lots of honey. Their coleslaw is good and creamy with lots of celery seeds. I took half my Cuban home for lunch. My friend's Italian beef was loaded with shaved prime rib and grilled green and red peppers. Plenty of Au Jus which was flavorful. He ate all but two bites, but was disappointed in the french fries. He said for being an upscale place with pricier entrees, you would expect seasoned, or batter dipped, or some kind of special fries. These were the exact same krinkle cut fries you get in the freezer section at WalMart. When he got the bill, there was no charge for the provolone and I suspect it is included on the sandwich, but the waitress was misinformed. By now the place was packed, very loud bar area, and lots of people outside waiting to get in. I would go back, just on a weeknight and get there early to avoid the crowds and extreme noise. read more

I was very optimistic about this place. It looked good inside and out but when the food came it was not what I ordered at all. If it was terrific, I would have been satisfied and not worried about the mistake. I was offered a 5 dollar discount for the error after I discovered that there was nothing in or on my pasta bowl I ordered. Just a bunch of cheap, greasy cheese and basic pasta in marinara. I was still charged for more than what I got. The menu left much to be desired. The sushi appetizer had grey oxidized avacados and slimy wasabi with a side of pink ginger. My girlfriend and I went to The Treehouse for the first time last night. Pizza was AMAZING with great flavor. Half Lumberjack, Half Par 3. The service was top notch and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Also had a great beer selection that surprised me. This restaurant is good...not special though. The burgers are really good. The pizza is ok...I like that its brick oven. The pizza I got wS REALLY oily. If you don't mind your whole party not eating at the same time, having our order screwed up and being overcharged, this is the place for you! The Sauerkraut pizza not only came to the table 25 minutes after everyone else was served . . . the sauerkraut was delivered on the side . . . not on the pizza!! The server did not supply us with silverware . . . we had to ask for it. Our drink order was wrong and we never received the water we asked for several times. When we received the bill at the end of the meal, they charged us for drinks we didn't order. Most disappointing, the owner came to our table and refused to make things right. We have experienced poor service here before, but wanted to give it another try. We were sadly disappointed once again and will never be back to this establishment. read more

Went here on a Wed early evening with two cousins. Nice crowd as most tables full. We sat at bar for a drink before dining. Bartender was new and had to ask more experienced bartender to answer our questions. Otherwise evening proceeded well. We started by ordering Pulled pork nachos with our beers.Got a large portion more than enough for 3 and quite tasty. They have a small dinner menu but with somewhat unique offerings. Two us had specialty burgers and one the Italian beef. All was good. Waitress was quite attentive and friendly. We spoke with the owner for a few minutes who told us of their expansion plans.
