Pros: First of all, pricing CAN NOT be beat! So I'm very happy with that!!! Now, let me say they did an AMAZING job removing trees from my backyard and grinding the stumps. They cleaned up my backyard after and it looks absolutely fantastic and clean, so THANK YOU so much for that!!! Cons: I was given a window of them showing up as between 8-10am...they didn't arrive until 12:15p, I received a message from the owner Ron saying the crew would be late from the previous house and would be to mine at 11/11:30a...so anyway, they were still very late, but finally made it. The 2 men worked fast and when they realized their grinder wasn't going to fit through my gate, they informed me, and then left. I was left with a messy backyard and no idea of when/if they'd return (well they'd have to return if they wanted to get paid). I texted Ron and said the guys had to leave to find a more narrow stump grinder or something to get through my gate, and if he knew when they'd be back. He said they don't have one and would have to find one to rent or something and didn't know when that would be. Long story short, they ended up coming back around 7p (that same day or the next I don't remember) while I was away at the gym with NO heads up text, phone call, nothing letting me know they were coming at such-and-such time or even on their way. Good thing my roommate was home or else they would've been (nicely) greeted by my 75 lb. dog who has a doggy door to go outside! Also, I didn't receive a receipt and Ron said I would be provided one. ALSO, when they left I didn't realize until an entire day later that they had left the backyard gate open! Not wide enough for my dog to get through, but pretty wide, that if there was a dog or someone walking by and he wanted to get to it badly enough, he could've easily pushed past the gate. NOT OK. PLEASEEEE BE MORE CAREFUL WHEN LEAVING YOUR CUSTOMER'S BACKYARDS!!!!! So yes, your prices...can't beat em!!! However, if my dog got out and attacked every dog in my neighborhood, that's not worth your low prices. Great work. Poor-no communication and attention to detail when leaving. Double if not triple check before leaving that everything is SECURE and the way you found it!!! read more

Unfortunately my review is strictly based on our personal experience with the owner named Ron Goodwin. My husband and I got a quote last year in June, right after purchasing a home. We ended up not needing their service because I wanted to see how the trees would grow/bloom (we bought in the fall and got an HOA notice but they agreed to hold off for a year). As far as I recall, we never scheduled anything. I re-texted today and was basically told "we aren't interested in trimming your trees". When I inquired as to why and what kind of business this was I was told "I'm Ron Goodwin" and that it was a tree trimming business and they won't cut our trees because we scheduled with them and cancelled and that we should have never scheduled if we didn't have the money and good luck with your HOA and paying more money cause I have the best prices in town. I told him he was mistaken and oh well, your loss not ours. Which is true. I was then sent a screen shot photo of my husband cancelling (so apparently my husband did schedule something June 2022) I was then called "a f*ck ing liar" a moron and a Karen. Ron also told me that he made 1.4 million dollars trimming trees last year. It definitely went downhill after this because this was all happening on my husband's cell phone. Very aggressive and immature. He's a real keyboard warrior. So yeah. No thank you! We will spend our hard earned money elsewhere. We will happily pay DOUBLE to avoid making this guy richer than he already claims he is. read more

I used TreePro for several jobs. What I liked was the quick response and quotes via text. The first couple of jobs were done well (even though they left branches behind in the 2nd job I hired them for and I had to text them twice to pick them up). Reason for the 1-star review is the latest job, which trumps all others. I asked them to take out 2 trees while I was away. They left an unsightly mess where the trees used to be but that wasn't my biggest issue. The biggest deal was that they cut 3 irrigation lines and just left them like that. I was gone for 4 weeks. In those 4 weeks, my irrigation was spraying out like a damn fountain (see photo) 8 times in the middle of the worst drought since the Hoover Dam was built. They didn't mention anything to me. "Oh, just so you know, you may want to cap off your irrigation since we severed a few lines accidentally." Nope, nothing. Worse than that, when I asked about this to whoever I've been texting with, he basically told me that it wasn't their fault at all and that I should check with other companies to see that I was being unreasonable to care about this. He shot back an extremely rude and unprofessional message. And it just so happens, I had another landscaper by to check on something unrelated and he mentioned (without me saying anything about it) the unsightly lumps of sawdust where the trees used to be. He said, and I quote, "If we would have taken those trees out, you would not even be able to know they were gone." That's you know, what I was expecting with TreePro! He also said they would not have cut the irrigation because they always excavate it beforehand! Which is just the obvious thing to do before you start sawing away. So look, at the end of the day, not only does this company not care about the environment so much that they will cut irrigation lines, leave the job, and not tell an out-of-town customer about it, but they do not care about the quality of their work and do not stand behind their work. And once challenged, their point of contact may become extremely unprofessional. (And for any of you skeptics out there... I was sitting around the living room with a few friends telling them about this. They said I should message him. So I wrote the message and they said it was fine and fair. I got his response in less than a few minutes and everybody in the room agreed that it was aggressive and unprofessional. Long story short, I don't recommend doing business with this company, which is really disappointing, because I THOUGHT I had a good tree company I could rely on. Guess I wrong because there's no way I could hire them again.) read more

Ron the owner is really nice and the workers were all very pleasant as well. I had a huge dying pine in my front yard and they were able to remove it and shave down the stump for a fraction of the cost of other quotes I received. I really appreciate that they make tree removal affordable because that was more of a necessity than a cosmetic choice because if the tree had fallen on my house or car it would have been terrible. They also trimmed my palms for a very reasonable price. I have 4 more smaller trees that still need removal and I will definitely be using their services in the future. I love that they recycle all the plant waste, either drying it out for fire wood or turning it into mulch. Huge log from tree fell and broke a pipe in the yard. Guess what... we didn't know about this situation until they had already left and we realized our main at the street was turned off. So this company turned off our water line and never explained why. My husband immediately texted and asked the owner about this. Then Ron the owner said "we don't have X-ray vision, not like it's a window" Then he said my husband was "getting an attitude" with him. Wow. They were the best price beat other companies buy a couple hundred dollars to I got quotes at double what they charged me. I was definitely happy. They came they worked hard, and they were extremely responsive to my instructions. I was happy I would use them again. The one thing that everybody should know with any company make sure you are very clear and precise on what you want cut and how you want it cut. I made a mistake saying cut everything off that goes on to the neighbors property. The first brand she cut off right from the tree trunk. I ran outside, totally my fault that was very vague. I called the owner, Ron Goodwin, for a quote to cut down a pine tree and trim four palms. Last year, I used this company and was satisfied with the work. This time, the owner called me a dumbass. He bragged that he makes $250K a year and can call anyone any name he wants. He employs undocumented workers who speak only in spanish.
