Stopped in because Yelp listed them as a used bike shop but the man at the counter said they did not sell used bikes and he didn't know who did. He did try to push an e-bike on me but even after I said I wasn't interested he kept trying to get me to consider one. I was in earlier today looking for insight on a seat for my "other than Trek" bike. It seemed like I brought the crowd in with me when just a few minutes before, there was hardly anyone in the store. These guys are great - hooked me up big time in a real pinch. Brought in my non-trek road bike and while they were jammed up / super busy went above and beyond to help repair my tires, clean up the drivetrain, threw in some extra goodies at no cost but importantly just great guys that made it happen for me as I needed to get back on the road 24 hours later. Took my old Trek 4500 in for an overhaul (converted it to a hybrid cruiser). The techs there installed handle bar risers, new seat, new tires, mirror, replaced all the cables. The bike rides smooth as silk (basically a new bike). Kudos to the folks at the Trek Bicycle Store Stuart. read more

Great experience here. Nothing complicated but had called ahead with a question and the associate said to come on in to see what they could do. Later that day I did and they took care of me quickly. Update #2 The store called and graciously offered to "make it right" for me. I took it back in and they had it for a couple days. My first time back out on the trail and the crank fell off again. This time I went down and messed up my shoulder. I had high expectations and am left feeling extremely disappointed. The bike is falling apart and I've had to take it into the shop 4 times. read more

I am so grateful for this place! They were very helpful, honest, informative, friendly and went above and beyond in helping me out. I had a "weathered", rusty bike that I was desperate to get functioning as a mode of transportation, but I was a bit doubtful if it could happen. Not only did they make it happen but they 'extra' made my day when two of the staff members helped to give my sister's car a jump when it wouldn't start after picking up my bike.... I really thought I was going to have to ride my bike all the way home (would've been a fun 'test drive', but it was dark already, my cell phone was dead and I'm newer to the area). I would recommend them 1,000 times over, whether you haven't rode a bike in a hot minute (like me) or are an experienced rider with 100's of miles under your belt- this crew knows their stuff!! It's very sad that one bad Apple employee can give the entire organization a black eye. In the past, I always had good luck at Trek in Stuart and even better luck with the previous owners. Yesterday, however, I went in there to buy a seat adjustment part for my Rad Rover E bike. The little short skinny guy that waited on me looked like I was annoying him with such a trivial purchase. He convinced me that he couldn't help me unless I took the seat post off. When I told him I didn't have any tools with me he came back outside with an adjustable wrench, large enough to disassemble the Roosevelt bridge and a Phillips screwdriver about the same size . He obviously knew those tools wouldn't help me. When I asked him for a box wrench, he looked at me and said "this is all we have to work with". Obviously a 5000 ft.² bike facility has more tools than what he presented me with. It's a shame this one short little guy with a bad attitude ruined it for his company, but after spending hundreds of dollars there in the past, I'll NEVER go back! Sorry I've used them at least four times for tuneups / checking a new bike out to make sure it's 100% ok. They failed the last three times. I will drive to the west coast if needed 200 miles away versus three miles. I honestly think they don't care. 1) I took my catrike in for a tuneup as it's good to do once a year etc. the rear derailleur did not get in all gears well got it back $100 later nothing was done. 2) took a used streetstrider in to check out tuneup one main component was loose I noticed later ( I never rode ) after another $100 3) took my catrike 559 which folds by the way. They are listed as a catrike dealer in Stuart. I broke off a bolt trying to mount a rear basket. They told me $50 to get the bolt out and $35 to mount the rear rack. I gave them a bag of screws and parts to mount if they didn't have already. When I picked up the bike the bill was like over $100-$150 or more just to get the bolt out ( which was done correctly BTW amazing ). They never called to tell me it was going to be 300% more than they told me. I had to ask for the bag of parts back after they rolled my trike out. I pushed my trike to the door a couple of my parts fell to the floor that was I guess laid by the front boom. I got out the door and noticed they mounted the supports to the frame making it IMPOSSIBLE to fold the trike getting it in my Jeep. I went inside to ask for a tool to disassemble as I could not get in my Jeep. During the process I dropped a small part in the parking lot. No one offered to help me put in car or find the part. Once the bill was paid that was it. I am so done with this company if they failed 3 out of 4 times why go back. I guess I have to leave one star to post otherwise zero stars read more

One of the rudest man I ever met. Only two other people in the store. Acted like he was really to busy to talk to me about a rod adapter to put my bike on a hitch type bike rack on my car. Said an ebike is too heavy to haul on hitch type hauler . They are definitely too heavy for me to put on a roof type hauler. So I guess I'll have to tide it from Florida to Colorado. Usually I take my tarmac to Louis shop (sprockets) for tune ups, but the crew is so friendly so I might drop it there when I am back. Plus they have a shop dog - now how cool is that! A really eager and friendly crew has taken over from Bike Street USA. I really liked Bike Street, but it was mostly for the staff and they have seemed to have kept that enthusiasm that I dug. Approachable, knowledgeable, and not all condescending. They did switch the flagship brand from Cannondale to Trek, not a biggie, just a note. read more

I have used them a couple of times and were extremely happy. I had a very unpleasant experience with another bike store on Monterey in Stuart and felt taken advantage off for the second time so I took the extra ride to beyond bikes and have never regretted it. I stopped in yesterday with my sons bike to have the brake repaired since it's not stooping immediately. The young gentleman advised me that that the brakes are fine the painted rims are the reason the rubber pad does not stop properly . He then gave me the bike back with a few tips on how I could resolve this free of charge. He certainly could have done it as part of a pas replacement but that tells you the integrity of this shop. In closing my two previous visits confirmed the quality of their work so if your in Palm city take the ride it's worth it. read more

We are new in town, needed a bike shop. Took my wife's bike to the shop to see if they could fix the front derailleur. After checking they decided that we needed a new chain & rear cogs too. Several days later we picked up the bike, cost us $200 but we were happy to have it fixed. Next day we had a ride planned, well the front derailleur still did not work, & now the chain was skipping & jumping all over the place. Took the bike back on in, they still could not figure out what exactly was wrong. Mike (who is a very nice guy) finally said to us that the front shifter needed to be fixed, he agreed to replace it for free, & also fix the problem with the chain. The bike now works great. Not sure if we found our new bike shop. I would really like to have complete trust in my bike mechanic, to get it right the first time. Maybe we will give them another chance read more

The team at Beyond Bikes is great! Knowledgeable, customer oriented, friendly and responsive. We bought bikes seven years ago from another bike shop in town. One of our bikes had trouble with the gears from day one and they couldn't get it right. We brought our bikes there over the years for all our routine needs and they were ok but could never get the gear issue right. Went back in a few days ago for a flat repair and tune up and they said it would be five days. That had us look elsewhere and we found Beyond Bikes. They took care of everything in a day and addressed the gear issue that had plagued us for seven years. Their tune up was so good that it was like a new bike. These guys are great. I only wish we knew about them two years ago when they opened. read more
