I'm a little disgusted with myself with how dirty our area rugs were! I peeked in while Jim was cleaning the living room area rug and he showed me how much dirt was coming off from the first pass. A toddler and a dog can certainly do a lot of damage to a carpet. Wished I would have called Tremble sooner. Had my carpets cleaned. Was given a quote for one amount and once the job was finished the price was reconfirmed when I wrote the check to the gentleman. I thought that was it... Well 6 months later I receive a letter stating that I am being sent to collection for the amount that I had paid, I never received a call or anything just a threat to go to collections? This is very poor business practices. I said I had already paid and then was told that was half the price. Why would the story change after 6 months? I requested an estimate for a carpet cleaning. I had used the service a year ago at the apartment I'm currently at now. I provided specifics and dimensions of what needed cleaning. This included 1 long hallway, 1 short hallway, 1 bedroom, 1 closet, and 1 living room. In my estimate, they added a phantom room, claiming my living room is actually a living room/dining room combo. My living room was not considered a combo a year ago. I understand the economy is difficult right now, and costs increase to account for inflation. I've used Trembley Carpets on two different occasions. Both times they were able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. The service was great. The price was excellent and there was no upsell nonsense - they were in and out. Also, they left me with samples of their cleaning solution (citric acid I think) that I use all the time. I had Jim come over yesterday to clean my off-white carpets, which had more stains than I could count from my dog and high traffic areas. In my rush to leave for work, I forgot to move a large floor mirror and leather chair, which he moved, cleaned the area behind and put back into place.
