I had an amazing experience. I searched and searched online, google, yelp etc for an optometrist since I felt like the previous ones that my insurance would send me to weren't actually working. I have been coming here for years. Dr. Payne always has the newest technology available in her office. I appreciate her willingness to try new things. She recently added a Neurolens, which has greatly helped me. I spend a lot of time on a computer, and these new lenses have helped greatly with my eye/neck fatigue. I never understood how much my eyes were affected until I tried these lenses. I even got them in sunglasses! Chip is one of the best opticians i have ever met. He takes the time to understand my tastes and suggests glasses that work well with my face shape. I will always value his opinion and his suggestions. I expressed my distaste for contacts due to my dry eyes, and Daniel performed a dry eye test on me. The procedure was super simple, and they explained to me the current condition of the oil glands in my eye lids. Due to my results, Dr. Payne recommended a procedure using an intense pulsating light that will help with my dry eye. The procedure was simple and is much easier than getting your eyebrows waxed. After I felt the difference almost immediately. Before my procedure, I felt like my eyelids were like car windshield wipers that were worn down. I love this office and the way they have modernized eye care with the newest technology. I'm excited to wear contacts again! read more

Doctor Payne was my third opinion after two previous eye doctors who cared more about "being right" than the patient's need. She gave me enough time to decide what looked more clear during the exam, whereas other doctors made me feel so rushed. She has this little trick to get your eyes to respond in a way to get the most practical measurement. She really understands and cares! Whereas the other two doctors gave me prescriptions that are all over the place, her prescription is line with my previous years and I am very confident in her accuracy. The fact that her office promotes a super zen feel is a bonus. Don't waste time time in other eye doctors in Vegas. Moving to a new City is definitely challenging ... having to find new sources for everything ... including prescription glasses. I already had my Rx and went in to find a cool pair, well ... I actually found two! Chip was patient while helping me locate the perfect size frame. Yes, they were expensive (Designer ... one was David Yurman). Why not? I mean, come on, this is YOUR face!!! I am very pleased with the service I got here. Dr. Payne made sure my prescription was right, by having me try contact lenses and returning for a follow up. One of my eyes did need a small adjustment, and she gave me new contacts at no additional cost. I bought a pair of very expensive eyeglasses from Trendsetter about 18 months ago. The prescription she wrote turned out to be too strong, and they replaced the lenses for free. But the entire process took several weeks. Now I need my prescription that she used for the glasses. I called on Monday and the person that answered said the Dr. Was out of the office that day and she needed to sign off on it before he could send it. But it would go out on Tuesday via email. Tuesday I received nothing from them, so I called on Wednesday and the Dr. happened to answer the phone. She said it was on her list of things to get to. Now, it takes 5 min at most to email the eye prescription. You just ask your employee to do it and it is done. It is not like they are a high volume operation. In any event, I did not get it today and I am not going to call them again. I will search through my paperwork here at home and find it. Or have it read off the lenses I have. But I felt it necessary to warn people that if you expect customer service, my experience with them is that they could care less. Blowing someone off for such a simple request is inexcusable considering there are 100s of optical shops in Las Vegas and I spent close to 500.00 with them. I've had a handful of glasses made here now and Chip always does such a great job. I was sick of getting ripped off at LensCrafters and places like that. Since I like shopping antique shops and perusing thrift stores, now whenever I find a cool old pair of glasses I just take them in to Chip and he pops my prescription lenses in. Best part is that he really cares about getting it right and doing a good job. One time he called and said he was sending the glasses back to the lab because they "weren't quite right" and I really appreciated that because he's never going pass off subpar work. I had a number of issues with Chip who prepares the lenses. I'll get into detail in my next post. Dr Payne was wonderful. She was sweet and helpful and I think my prescription is accurate although I am conflicted. My lenses are really heavy, they slide down the bridge of my nose and cause weight strain as well. In addition, my lenses have a fish-eye lens affect. It's terrible and quite annoying. I'm so disappointed at this point. It's been almost a month since I received my glasses. I'm calling the office tomorrow to see how they can accommodate with my troublesome situation. Ordered a pair of glasses in August here it is middle of October and still no glasses. I was told the first time that they were lost in mail and they would be tracked I had to call and follow up each time to see where glasses where only to be lied too stating they would return order them. Talked to the rep in September 30 and was told I would be getting another pair ordered when I asked if they had them in stock they told me yes. Fast forward two weeks and I'm being told they didn't have the frames they had to order them and they just got in TODAY and now they are being sent to warehouse to get lense out in. I have been told nothing but lies the eye doctor that referred me to them was contacted and I told him the same thing. They have my money and I have no glasses I'm going to call the eye referral doctor and see is there an alternate route. They have my money and I still don't have any glasses. My daughter and I had been looking for glasses ALL day. She was super picky, and I just found some okay ones. I looked up eyeglasses on Yelp and Trendsetters came up. So we went to take a look. First off, it was BEAUTIFUL inside! They had a large selection of glasses, and the largest selection of designer brands that if ever seen! Chip was assisting us, and he was AWESOME!
