We went to 7 pointe shoe fittings at different places for my daughter and each time the teacher did not like the shoe until we went to trendy trendz. After the 6th shoe, my daughter volunteered to be a demonstrator for a woman who was doing a pointe training and the fitter for trendy trends did a workshop on pointe shoe fittings. Thank God we found out about this place. On the 7th try we finally found her magic shoe! The fitter knows what she is doing and takes the time to find a good one. The rest of the places were good even though the shoe didn't fit but the Pointe Shop was definitely the worst so I'd say avoid them if you can. We tried 2 Pointe Shops {Oakland and SF w/Josephine). At least the people in Oakland are genuine. The orange county one I am still waiting for them to send me a pair of shoes I ordered 4 months ago even though they said it would take 2 months (which in itself is bad) and I won't even talk about my daughter's fitting with Josephine. Anyway enough about Pointe shop! Go to Trendy Trendz! read more

My daughter went here for ballet point shoes fitting and they did a wonderful job looking at her feet shape and fitting her for a perfect fit on her new point shoes. She helped me with finding the perfect pointe shoe. We tested out a couple of different sizes and with her expertise, I found my shoe . I also purchased a beautifully fitted leotard as well. We get all our dance shoes here, anything they don't have in the store they quickly get. Recently my girls got their pointe shoes letters and we made an appointment to see Miss Jessica for a fitting. She took her time with each of the girls individually trying different styles to find the right fit. She took time to ensure the girls were comfortable in their selection and that they were the best fit for their feet. This store have very cute dance clothes. My daughter love going here. She spend at least one hour shopping for dance outfits when she is there. The fact that they do open late and it is close to home is an extra plus for a busy mother like me. My daughter and I stopped by the shop last Friday to pick up some of the required items for her ballet recital. I learned about this shop through my daughter's dance school, and if you would mentioned that Infinity dance school referred you, you would get a 15% off. I was told that the owner have been doing wholesale for dance clothing for over 10 years. She just recently ventures into retail business. This local family run business has been so helpful with custom items for two bachelorette parties/weddings I've been a part of in the past two years. My tank tops still look perfect after several washes. The customer service is always amazing and professional. I ordered custom rhinestone tops and shorts. Stones fell off and garments were returned. Gloria the owner said she would repair items since "there are no refunds on custom goods " it's 3 years later and I have called several times being told they would ship out repaired items.
