I was so excited to try this privately owned restaurant and was extremely disappointed by the time we left. The complimentary chips and salsa were actually the best part. We ordered the Drunken Flamed Fajitas ($36) which sounded like a dream on paper, including onions, peppers, rice, beans, pico and sour cream (only came with 3 tortillas). Everything looked good but it was sooooo spicy. We requested it without jalapeños and it was still spicy, all of it! The steak was extremely chewy and the chicken was burnt, dry and hard. The worst part about our experience was the extra charges. Without telling us, they charged an additional $6 for us and another $6 for my parents who asked for additional tortillas with their fajitas. For $36, you'd think this should come with more than 3 tortillas. The $6 "plate" included 3 tortillas and a very tiny amount of rice and beans and sour cream, which I didn't really want. When we asked the manager about the charge that was never communicated, she looked at the table and said "since you ate majority of the side plate, we need to charge you for it". $42 for Fajitas? I feel like the manager was arguing with us at the table, so unprofessional. We will not be back. read more

We live walking distance from this place. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the Chimichanga and a regular margarita. With a very cool Mexican/Asian fusion flare, you'll find many interesting menu items to choose from. Known for the stand out birria's I just had to give them a try. I'll tell ya, they lived up and exceeded the hype. I went with the braised beef and they were amazing. And the guacamole was sooo good! They decor looks very similar to the last couple of names (iE Cans) The soup which I loved has disappeared from the menu, but there is still plenty to choose from. The most impressive thing is the bartender, she can somehow manage the whole place almost single handled. I'm so sorry for this review. We used to love this place. None of sisters were there on a Saturday night. And it showed in the poor service. We brought in 5 people. Took almost 30 min for our drinks to show up. Queso didn't come until just before the drinks. Extra tortillas requested-- never came. We never even got silverware and napkins. And the one thing that is usually amazing here are the margaritas. When we order skinny... we are looking for fresh margs-- no mix, and light agave. Both flavors we ordered were super sweet. My wife got the Taquitos appetizer as her entry and she still had leftovers. I got the BYO Asian Steak Tocos I had to get extra lettuce wraps because I ate everything on my plate. The only other restaurant I've been that completely satisfied, and that's Asian fusion, is Heirloom BBQ. This place has been added to my rotation because I want to try more things on their menu. Plenty of proteins, but I really didn't like the sizes of the chicken and steak, very large pieces that had to be cut down to eat, but it only came with a case knife not a steak k life. Onions and peppers had great flavors, yellow and red bell peppers with poblano peppers as the green. Blacks beans had a hint of cumin and cinnamon, tasty. Some dishes are Mexican, but with a little bit of Thai, Asian influence. Still I ordered the ceviche as an appetizer, which is Mexican. It was "okay". It had a flavor that I could not identify, nor was I crazy about and some of the fish was chewy. Second we ordered the pazole ... traditional Mexican soup. It was so SALTY that it was not edible. It was also not too traditional, after all. Last I ordered the shrimp and grits. It actually seemed like it was pretty good, but I could not get the salty taste out of my mouth from the Pazole, so I was not able to finish. Ok, this might become our neighborhood spot. Visited one time before with a friend about a month or so ago. Met Joy, one of the owners. Walked Iin tonight with my husband, and Joy immediately greeted me with a 'welcome back.' Surprised she remembered me, but she went so far as to recall where I sat last time and told me that she remembered meeting me before and was happy to see I returned. Now that's service!! Drinks did not disappoint. Husband had the same drink twice - Texas Margarita. I had the Halloween specials: Witches Brew, served in a cute beaker with a lollipop apple green witch's finger and the vampire's blood that came with glow and the dark vampire's teeth with a splash of grenadine. Such whimsical drinks that were very tasty. Both were skinny, which I appreciated. Husband had the shrimp quesitos -- he really liked them, and I had the enchiladas - one pork carnita, one ground beef and one chicken -- finished every bite. Such a great spot. This was our first time visiting Tres Lunas in the crabapple/Milton area. The interior of the restaurant is colorful and inviting. They also have a nice bar area where you can watch sports on a few TVs. The service was good, but the highlight was definitely the food. I ordered three different tacos in order to try a variety of the flavor combinations. I tried a Chicken Tinga Taco, Luna Street Pork Taco, and a Luna Street Steak Taco. All three tacos tasted very fresh and flavorful. I would definitely consider returning to try some of the other tacos, such as the Braised Beef Birria Taco, the Mini Crab Cake Taco, and the Asian Fusion Taco. The only downside to our experience was the temperature inside of the restaurant. We were seated in the enclosed outdoor patio, which at first felt comfortable and cool. As the sun started to set and direct sunlight was hitting the patio, the temperature inside increased substantially. The interior dining room also felt uncomfortably warm, possibly due to the smoke coming off of the sizzling hot fajita dishes. Finally, they offer a number of daily specials, which might entice me to return in the near future. I would also recommend others try the restaurant the next time they're in the area. We came here on a Saturday night and the place was energetic. We had a reservation for a large group of dads and daughters after a dance. We were able to add to the reservation last minute, making it a group of 22. We were seated in a makeshift "L" shaped table formation right when you wakk in to the left. This worked out great as it was close to the games they have at he front right on the way to the bathroom. Our server was great and handled our large group perfectly! We each got a number so we could keep our tickets separate and accurate. I had the birria tacos and they were pretty good. The portion size was large and the tacos not too greasy. So it's definitely a relief not having to drive around to look for the parking space! Second, they have both indoor and outdoor seatings. I think the easiest way to describe this place would be a repackaged Cans Taqueria. It literally looks like nothing has changed other than the name and maybe some menu items. Service was dreadfully slow even when the restaurant was nearly empty. I think this has to do with the service industry staffing issues in general and not service overall. The waiter did screw up my order but no point complaining to wait another 15 minutes for resolution. The fish tacos were good. Tasted clean and healthy. I liked the bit of coleslaw that came with it. Nothing really special about the rest which contributed to our decision that we would stick with our tried-and-true Mexican restaurants. Parking is easy! There is a deck across the street or parking by in front of the restaurant. Best sit down Mexican in Milton. I went here for lunch with one of my friends and it was great. Service was fast and amazing. Their queso dip is definitely on my top 5.
