Our office has reserved this food truck the past couple of years for our employee appreciation lunch. They are super easy to work with and provide a diverse menu to select from. They gave us the selection of a cheeseburger, wings, tacos, shrimp poboy, or chicken salad. Everything looked delicious and the process was really easy. I chose the cheeseburger without the egg. It was perfectly cooked and filling. Topped with lettuce, tomato, purple onion, fresh jalapeno slices, and a homemade, light, bbq type of sauce, it was just the right amount of food. The fries were a nice mix of crispy and less crispy. I didn't think I would be able to finish the burger, but it wasn't as daunting as i thought. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes when I find their food truck out and about. read more

I absolutely love food trucks and love how many are appearing in Baton Rouge! We wanted to order in person so we drove to the jefferson location to order.I ordered the street burger along with the wings and waffles as well! The workers were very nice and extremely helpful and friendly, they gave us great recommendations to pick from. Street burger- this burger was awesome, containing prime beef, lettuce, chipotle mayo, tomatoes, red onion, fried jalapenos, bacon, american cheese, and street sauce which I can describe as a tangy and sweet sauce similar to bbq sauce but lighter! Oh also the handcut fries were superb too! The burger was juicy with all the right flavors especially the fried jalapenos which have enough bite to make you want more! The street sauce was very unique at the same time I enjoyed and appreciated it on my burger because with the spicy characteristic of the jalapenos the sauce have a complimentary sweetness that didn't overpower the burger! Also the burger comes with a fried egg but I'm not a egg person so I didn't include I in mine but just know it does come with it as a usual option! Wings and waffles- I had forgot to take a picture of this beautiful creation, I had basically ate it without even remembering that I should've taken a picture. The wings were fantastic, I got the lemon pepper which was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The waffles were fluffy and light and gave a good change of flavor from the wings making me want to go back and forth between the two! Overall this event was fantastic, the food truck definitely delivered and I will be making it a regular stopping destination for futures to come! read more

The perfect mix of Chicago with a southern flare! Tre's Street Kitchen is a food truck you DO NOT want to miss in the Baton Rouge area. It's the customer service for me! The food is mouth watering and I like that the menu is rotating. So, it's good if you want to try a variety of options instead of the same ol same ol. What stands out the most for me, is the presentation. It's literally top quality restaurant status in a food truck. I look forward to my run ins with this street kitchen. This food truck is a hidden gem in Baton Rouge. My experience was nothing but positive from the extremely nice owner and the delicious food. I've only tried the salmon tacos, which I highly recommend anyone to try. They have a few different options every week, so you can always try something new. I can't wait to try their catfish or alfredo pasta next time I'm in the area. read more

Chicagoan ran food truck out here in these streets. Small little truck that you might miss if you aren't careful. The people are really nice and they have a pretty good selection of soul food type items. We went with wings and waffles and a catfish on bun sandwich. The honey barbecue wings were super tasty but pretty small. The sandwich was really good too. Overall the place was pretty good. It's a bit pricey for what you get. $7.50 for a sandwich is a bit high with no fries or a drink. read more

Y'all....I didn't get out of the parking lot before I started going in on this deliciousness. But first! I pulled up to a bright yellow food truck outlined with lights...cute! I was greeted by a very bubbly co-owner (Kristen I believe) who promptly serviced my food. She had a mask on too, which is always comforting to see. As I pulled off and peeked on my food, the aroma of hot, well seasoned food had me stuffing my face within seconds lol! The fish was pippin hot, fresh, well cleaned and the batter was perfectly seasoned. The fries, a little limp but overall delicious. Idk what they seasoned it with but I need some haha. I didn't use hot sauce, ketchup or nothin, everything was seasoned just right. I'm very satisfied and will definitely be back to further explore the menu! read more

Easy to find location on Jefferson highway not far from Parkview Baptist and Airline Highway/Siegen/Sherwood intersection. They are there most nights, so I highly recommend checking them out! Everything about Tre's street kitchen is banging! Always great service, and COVID aware which is an A+! Where do I begin with the food, first of all chicken and waffles are a must! I am very picky about my chicken so it is always a joy to find a place that can satisfy that 'homemade' flavor. The waffle was fluffy and hot off the griddle! I am a seafood fanatic, you have to be living in LA, so of course I had grab their fish, shrimp and handcut fries! Everything was seasoned to perfection, not to salty, just enough to balance everything out. My friend got the street burger and will not stop raving about how juicy it was!
