One word - outstanding. Everything is fresh and homemade. We had the bruschetta, which was really different but delicious. It has pesto on the crostini, then topped with the tomatoes and balsamic glaze. My husband had the cioppino and I had the seafood bolognese, but I subbed gnocchi for the penne. I can't believe I hadn't eaten here?!?! Ate at Rizzo's hundreds of times over the years. This place was really great! I got a 1/2 and 1/2 white & regular pizza...was really good...thin crust, great taste! My wife got a Mediterranean Salad which she said was really good too. Service was very good. Unfortunate because the food is good but something needs to be done about delivery. Ordered 2 times recently and both have had long wait times noted on their site, which is fine especially during COVID. This was an incredible experience from walking through the door through exiting... my husband and I were greeted with a friendly smile, our waiter greeted us immediately and was full of personality and offered such insight... he sold us on Trevi and made the Dining experience even better. Very quaint and inviting, low music with an appealing decor. Menu is not overwhelming, but provides a large array of choices. BYO, but also makes their own wine and has bottles of PA beer as well. Se had the calamari and mussels to start - calamari was very lightly breaded and tender. Not greasy at all. The mussels in white were delicious, large portion, cooked well. The white was not overwhelming, just enough garlic, very flavorful. My husband had clams and linguine, fresh pasta al dente. The clams tasted fresh, and again the garlic white was eight on. I had shrimp scampi - perfect al dente pasta, extremely flavorful and really enjoyed the spinach. We had the house made Chianti. The owner came mid meal and heard we were new here, welcomed us and made sure we were having a great experience. The pizza = top notch. The service = no notch. Came here on a Friday night expecting it to be very busy, made reservations on OpenTable and was seated right away. It took about 15 minutes until we were waited on for drinks and za. It is a BYOB, getting lit while enjoying za second to none. The waiter that was working the back room was sleep walking while the waitress had to do all the work. When the za finally came out it was awesome. The pizza was perfectly cooked and made my taste buds jump for joy! Great selection of very diversified pies to choose from, I will 100% be back to try some more! A MUST eat in Glenside. Family took me out yesterday for Father's day. Where to begin: Got there and A/C was off. Granted it was a cooler day but we were initially sweating from walking from our car. Then server was not sure what a Stout or Porter was when placing our drink order. Finally, food came after an hour of waiting and the potatoes in my Cioppino Classico was hard/not fully cooked. They attempted to correct the problem by bringing out a new dish but was too late at that point. Asked to pack up everything and we left. They credited my dish and drinks but was not about the money. My partner and I went to Trevi for a date night a few weeks back and we were blown away. The theming is a little much for us but the food and the wine was AMAZING, and will keep us coming back. It was a weekend night and they were busy so be prepared to wait or make reservations ahead of time. Our waitress was very nice and brought us everything we needed. She was very busy but kept up a great service. My partner and I can never agree on a wine but we were both impressed with their house red. As a Brooklyn transplant it's fair to say I'm having a tough time finding good pie. Pretty decent margarita, but they over knead the dough so it's kinda tough - a lighter touch and maybe a chunkier more flavorful sauce and it could be great. Good friends and former Glensiders were kind enough to introduce us to TreVi, and it has become our regular stop before shows at the Keswick. Before the introduction, we had written off Glenside as a culinary wasteland because we had had terrible experiences at two other eateries in this tiny hamlet. TreVi is a family-owned and -run business. The husband manages the kitchen while the wife handles the front of the house. During our most recent visit, the owners' gorgeous daughter waited on our table of eight. She proudly shared that she was responsible for selecting the lighting fixtures 3 1/2 years ago when her family took over the location. On our most recent visit (as well as all prior visits), the service was impeccable. We have tried numerous menu items during our many visits, and our favorites include the salads, calamari, pizza and pasta. Some of which made return appearances during our most recent visit. The table ordered calamari, and it was silent while those delicious rings of lightly battered goodness were dipped in a thick, herbaceous house-made marinara. My entree was the Italian antipasto salad, and it was perfectly (very lightly) dressed with rosettes of prosciutto decoratively placed atop a bed of very fresh micro-greens. Mr. M ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, which came with three golf-ball size meatballs. The pasta had just the right amount of fragrant sauce. One of our table-mates had the chicken parm, which he proclaimed excellent. The portion was so generous that he enjoyed perhaps 1/3 of it at dinner. The rest went home with him for lunch. read more

My husband was dropping off his motorcycle for repair so we stopped in here for dinner with our twin one-year old girls. The entire staff was very nice (hence the 2 stars). The host gave us two high chairs and neither of them had any straps. Not even the one in between the baby's legs. When I asked him about it, he said NONE of theirs had it. So, we sat down and tried it out. At one point I looked in the diaper bag and a waiter walking by told me my baby was falling out of the high chair. She almost fell through down to the floor. We had to get our food to go since we couldn't eat each holding a baby. They gave us a free dessert. I thought they should have comped out meal to be honest. NOT a kid-friendly restaurant. Bummer! (A guy at a neighboring table told us that those high chairs are not sold that way anymore because they are dangerous. I agree! I stopped in on Tuesday after work with my mind set on a margherita pizza. I walked in and sat down in an empty restaurant and a very nice waitress Laverne approached me. I told her immediatley that I wanted a margherita pie and a diet coke. Ten minutes later, a piping hot 16 inch margherita pie came to my table. It was not sliced like most pizza. It is sliced like a tomato pie, only round. The crust was blistered and crispy. It had a good backbone and held up very well when picked up. The fresh mozz was very good and the sauce was solid, although I like something a little saltier and with more taste. I suspect these were just crushed San Marzanos with a little salt added. There was a nice basil chiffonade sprinkled on the pie. It was not the best margherita pie that I've ever had (Barbuzzo is). But it is very, very solid and a welcome addition to the Glenside Pizza Scene. There isn't anywhere near Glenside that is serving these gourmet pizzas. It is true that Pizza Box and Luigi's are very good (I think Luigi's is better than Pizza Box). I will definitely try other pizzas on my next vist here. I hope that visit comes sooner rather than later. Might I suggest to the owners to have some gluten free options, like maybe some gluten free pasta on hand? read more

I finally decided to try this local BYOB place. I used to love the former Rizzo's and I really want to love this place too. So, the table bread is laughable. Literally 3 of the smallest slices of some forgettable Italian bread. I was hoping for rustic dipping bread or a garlic knot. The food is definitely good but not particularly exciting. The Caesar dressing is excellent but the romaine was sliced in small strips which makes it hard to get on your fork. The cheese steak looked good but the roll was too "doughy". Unfortunately this place is somewhere between a quaint byob joint and corner pizza place with mediocre food . I'm determined to find the best thing on the menu so I will return. read more

The ONLY reason I am not giving our experience a one-star rating is the food, that is their saving grace. Takeout from this place is the way to go: No corkage fee, no ignorant waiters, no tiny tables... The tables are WAY too small, and to add insult there is a metal "thing" taking up a good portion of what table space there is. I guess this is the brace to put the hot pizza pan on. We didn't get pizza so I don't know if that is what this is for or not. The point is, it should not be left on the table. IF - and only IF - you need it, bring it out, do not leave it on the table with the salt and pepper and all the other bottles of seasonings taking up room on the table! We were so close to the couple seated at the table next to us that it was uncomfortable. Neither party had any privacy. I don't know their ill-thought-out logic, but we were seated first, the couple next to us came in after us and told the hostess they wanted the table next to us after she tried to sit them at a different table. Because we were so close to this couple, we were able to hear how real waitstaff treat their customers. So not every waitperson in there is ignorant like Sean was to us. Waiter (Sean) was very inattentive, to the point we were ignored. Among other things, he brought our entrees while we were still eating our salads. So because of the tiny tables we had to stack plates! I felt like I was in the story of "The Princess and the Pea". He did apologize for bringing our entrees while we were still eating our salads, but didn't offer to box the salads so we could concentrate on the wonderful entrees. However, the food was spectacular. Too bad we couldn't relax enough to enjoy it. They do take AmEx, but their FB page has talk of them no longer accepting credit cards because ONE of the customers was complaining of a corkage fee(?) So they think it's more important to do away with - instead of just lowering - the corkage fee and have a lot of cash in their establishment. Interesting. I found TreVi through my favorite, a groupon offer. Sadly, the wait staff nearly ruined mine and my companions evening. Before I purchased the groupon, I checked the menu and Yelp. Both of which looked promising. Most of the Yelp reviews were positive, stating that this was a chef owed (the best kind) restaurant. I also love the whole byob idea. We were seated right away. Nice and good so far but in what restaurant, especially and Italian one, are you not offered bread almost immediately? After about 10 minutes when we asked our server for some bread and a couple of glasses of water, she quickly got an attitude. Two of my companions ordered the Chicken Parmesan. Not only did I find it to be over priced but with a menu as eclectic as this was, why would you? My Rigatoni and Crab really was quite good. My sister and I had brought a bottle of wine and our companions, beer. Our server continued to have a strange attitude with us, ignoring our table and allowing empty bottles to accumulate. TreVi has become a mainstay for our family. The delicious food hooked us in the beginning and the family atmosphere brings us back at least 3 times a month. The TreVi traditional pie is a must have! Thin delicious crust and fresh tomatoes and mozzarella. Our sons love the Brussels sprouts and calamari. Their pasta is wonderful and we've tried mostly everything on the menu. TreVi is BYOB and if you're visiting on a first Friday of the month you may be treated to a show. The have an older gentleman who sings all of the Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin hits. Me and my boyfriend went here on a date night and it was the perfect place for that! It was a cute little Italian restaurant in Glenside. I have had their pizza here before which is always delicious. However, this time we decided on appetizers and pasta entrees. I picked out the Charcuterie Board as our appetizer and I ordered the chicken saltimbocca. I would definitely order both of these options again! The chicken saltimbocca came with a side of gnocchi which tasted 100% homemade. I loved it. The staff was very friendly, and the environment felt very homey and chill. This is a great place for a Friday night meal with friends or a date, as it is also BYOB. I came to TreVi for dinner with a couple friends and have a lovely experience! We were seated right away, and our drinks and bread came shortly after! And our waitress was so quick and friendly and accommodating throughout the entire night. As far as food goes, it was all very tasty... but a little underwhelming. The pizzas were really good but just kind of plain, not a lot of pizzazz to them. We got a bunch of different food to share as well like the brussel sprouts, meatballs and chicken parm... all delish!! The price is also sooo reasonable. I left feeling SO full and SO satisfied and spent 20 bucks! The atmosphere is also nice, we had a nice corner table and it wasn't too noisy. I was at Trevi on Saturday with my two girlfriends, and everything was amazing. My service was good as always, the appetizers, prosciutto poppers, and the calamari, were so good and delcious, and my entree, the special, Parmesan Crusted Cod, was absolute PERFECTION! This visit, one of many, we tried the homemade wine the owners make! I bought another bottle to bring home for my husband and I! I did enjoy the food trevi had to offer! I think that because the food is delicious i will be back. I like the fact that the owner does everything from scratch everyday down to the salad dressing. My issues arent long and drawn out but I will say it isnt the best italian food I have ever had. I had ordered a crab pasta which was good but it was missing some seasoning i think. The staff is not as involve as you would think they should be. I also think the prices are a little on steep side. I have ate at authentic italian restaurant's before and the prices are a little more reasonable. All in all, I am still a returning customer and thats what matters! read more

Still sick 3 days later. I asked for gluten free and repeatedly reminded the waitress but I was served soup with bread. They said the soup was GF, so I took the bread off the plate. After waiting 40 mins for dinner, then my pasta was not gluten free. Really disappointed. I was up charged for this service $1.00. The food was under seasoned. No server brought out fresh grated Parmesan cheese or fresh cracked pepper. There was only a small amount of basil and no garlic cloves to be found. They don't even have toothpicks. No mints. I ordered a seafood dish with a wine wine sauce and when it came out it was a red sauce? I asked is this right? She said yes they add their spicy red sauce to the white wine sauce but it was not noted on the menu. I would have complained about the pasta but the waitress was MIA I had to find her and ask for the bill. We were heading to the Keswick Theater and the poor service nearly made us late. It is loud and cold in the dinning room. I think they were venting the kitchen and the cold air blasts the 1st floor dining room. I want to add a positive, this restaurant is clean. read more

Dinner started out okay, appetizers were really good and the bread brought to the table was soft and chewy on the inside and had a nice crust on the outside. The following meals were ordered: gnocchi, crab cakes, chicken marsala, and chicken parmigiana. Two of the gnocchi dishes were entered by the waitress wrong and subsequently brought out wrong therefore had to be re done. The replacement dishes (pancetta and peas) were disappointing - described as rinsed off potato balls with no taste. The third gnocchi dish was in the rosa sauce that was described as lacking in flavor. All 3 dishes were small portions. The crab cakes did not live up to expectation, however the fried gnocchi that accompanied the dish was better than the other gnocchi served. The chicken parm was really good and served with 2 large breasts on a bed of spaghetti in rosa sauce. The chicken was juicy, nicely season and perfectly fried. And lastly, the chicken marsala was good; the chicken was tender and the sauce was tasty and had good flavor. Our waitress was just okay. The hosts were really good though, two of the folks had wonky chairs and they helped to change them out so that they were more comfortable. We probably won't be going back. read more

Terrible service. We had 6:15 reservation and tickets for 8:00 show at Keswick theater. Restaurant was relatively quiet on this Saturday night as an Eagles playoff game was going on. Our waitress asked and was aware of the theatre time; probably relatively common for them. She had a lot of trouble opening the bottle of wine; we originally thought this was charming but it turned out to be emblematic of the staff incompetence. We ordered salads and entrees with a side. Salads were good quality but simple in construction - the kind of thing any adult can throw together in a minute. They took 45" to come out. There was still no sign of our entrees 1'15" after we were seated. Nothing appeared to be coming out of the kitchen despite the fact that it was a slow to moderate night. Ten minutes after I was told that our entrees were coming in '30 seconds', we asked for them to be boxed. They still hadn't arrived fifteen minutes later and theatre time was imminent. I left $25 on the table to more than cover the salads and a bottle of Pellegrino and walked out. Just made curtain time. Wasted a really good bottle of wine that should have been enjoyed with a good, full meal. After show, I found a snide and condescending voice mail on my cell from owner (Gina) denigrating us for leaving. She alleged that we would have had plenty of time to eat our (nonexistent) entrees and walk to the theatre. It is a mile from the restaurant and it was 21 degrees and windy. I'm a good runner but I can't manage a six minute mile in those circumstances. It was abundantly clear that the cooks had been watching the Eagles game (a couple of them wearing jerseys). I'm a fan too, but they were on the job and time stood still. I usually don't write negative reviews and would have shrugged this off, but the arrogance and tone of the voice mail was over the top. We had the Early Bird which was a good deal. AND this Italian restaurant offers gluten free pasta as an option! They were willing to do chicken parmesan without breading. This place is a hidden treasure I discovered this place on Groupon. I'm so glad I did best thin crust pizza in the area. I've become somewhat of a regular. I have tried many items on the menu from pizza, wings, pasta, fries, buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Everything on the menu is delicious! And I mean everything. Their wings are breaded and seasoned which I love. Garlic parm fries have fresh garlic and parm which takes me to foodie heaven. Ok so where do I start my best friend referred my husband and me to TreVi now I don't know if it was because of the corona epidemic that this place was so off but I def won't visit again first we get there and have to stand in line to order which was about 20 mins after ordering they take my money and say it will be a 20 min wait so we wait. Meanwhile as they are taking orders over the phone they say it's an 1 45 min wait. Well now that's a long time for take out. There was a man that has been waiting two hrs for his food and a woman comes out the kitchen and rudely says I dropped your pizza on the floor very unapologetic and rude didn't offer to compensate him for his time which he did mention he should be discounted for having to wait and for not being told he had to wait. People were placing orders online when they had run out of small pizzas well how do you fix that when the order has been placed. After waiting two hours we finally got our food and it was ok. Maybe because I was starving it taste good my calamari was ok but the pizza didn't feel like any love was made with it and after witnessing them messing up several orders I was not impressed and won't be back not to mention $51 is a lot for a pizza calamari and a seafood pasta dish. TreVi missed the mark for us today and after being stuck in the house I was excited to get out and eat some good food instead we got to see a rude employee and a two hour wait which is time I can never get back. HUGE portions & we were all pleased with our selections. Mine was in a mushroom cream sauce & really much lighter than it sounds. Simple, tasty neighborhood Italian joint that does delivery well. (I've never been in the restaurant; delivery only.)I've ordered delivery repeatedly and had a good experience each time. I especially like their spaghetti and meatballs and basil pesto gnocchi. My husband likes their cheesesteak. Skip the zepole; they're stale and bland and have a chocolate "dipping sauce" that tastes like generic Hershey's syrup. If you have been to Glenside, you realize that there are not enough restaurants to support a sold out Keswick Theatre. That said, we were able to get reservation at 6:30. We got appetizers - calamari and stuffed mushrooms were good. While the waitress was very nice, it did take over an hour for entrees to arrive. That was just a bit too long. Food was good, not great. That was my first mistake. Owner came to the table, she wanted to explain to me that their bolognese doesn't have meat. Oh well bolognese is a meat sauce i said then some idiot came to join her and actually wanted to fight me and had to held back. I'll never go back. She was very nasty to me. I'll never return. What i find funny is I've been there at least over 15 times. It was my go to place when i see a show at the keswick. Amazing. Never ever been threatened before in a restaurant over a complaint. Very personable young lady Crab tomato soup was very good, great tomato flavor, not overly fishy topnote Caesar salad was good. Crispy and very tasty dressing, perfect Parmesan balance Chicken Parmesan was good, but not the best I have had by far. Pasta was good Side of sausage(broccoli rabe) was very disappointing. No Caramelization lack of depth of flavor. Should be such a simple dish Spaghetti and meatballs was good. Red sauce was good but once again not the rave that so many mentioned. Meatballs were good Chicken Marsala was by far the most flavorful of what was ordered, but the portion was smaller Poppers with prosciutto was very disappointing Zeppoli was not close to what it should be.
