I was en route to a work event in NJ when I hit something and a huge metal piece dropped from the bottom of my car! It was literally dragging from the bottom of my car and creating the most embarrassing sound while I was driving. This shop was about a 7 minute drive from where my event was. I believe the mechanic's name was George and he was soo nice!!! We was able to remove that metal piece so I could drive back to Brooklyn without embarrassment. Ultimately I got my car fixed on my side of town but what a pleasure it was to meet him! Good customer service is hard to come by but it was quite seamless for him. read more

I give 1 star and will explain why. I started with 5 and removed a star for several reasons. First star removed for the car looking absolutely horrific when they called 2 months later to say its done. Second star removed for parts fell off it on its 1.8 mile ride home from there. Third star removed for zero coolant being put in my engine that i just drove home then back when i found my bumper parts no longer on the car. Fourth star removed for the interior being totally screwed up and falling out as well. These guys are total screw ups. You will see my photos as well. All reviews except this one were done by employees!! My car was smashed in a collision by a dumb geriatric playing with her cell phone in a construction zone, she could have killed someone not paying attention. My car was towed to this place by the police dept. thats when the 4.5 months of hell began. Tri boro looked at the car heavily underestimated the damages to get the job. They then did the work with 0 zero authorization! "Fixed" (destroyed) the car. The work consisted of repairing the front end and the rear seat surface also rear drivers door panel inside. The front end looked so horrible with color not right sparkle not right and massive runs if not for my plates i would have no clue its my car. The damages they did to panels that had no damages was ridiculous. They sanded down to primer and burnt every single panel next to what they worked on. My oil was not correct, my coolant empty, my lights aimed at the sky so the road was dark at night, large parts fell off, had masking tape inside my engine! Water in my lights. Rear seat they worked on the head rests no longer even went in or fit or adjusted. Then you have the electrical issues after they totally messed up the car. The car made it 483 miles before the engine started tapping and ticking. The electrical system was also now screwed who knows why. Car left us stranded twice. Head Lights died and never worked again. We were almost done paying for the car when the geriatric smashed it and this shop took it upon them selves to totally half ass and destroy the car worse than the crash. I could have easily fixed the car my self at home in my driveway in a week or two not 2.5 months to get most of it back to wait another several months before they call you saying your parts are here long after you have gotten rid of the pile of crap they created. All the junk parts they used was ridiculous. The parts not used and billed to insurance was fraud the clear coat billed and never used is also fraud. So stay away from this place. Only reason I gave a star is i had to. Place fkd us so bad we traded the car in before they even finished putting junk parts in it. Pathetic!!!! Also parts missing. Stay away from this place. It seems they have zero clue how a car is built or how its repaired. I can tell you the nylon pry tools to do interior jobs are not expensive amazon sells them dirt cheap so to find your interior murdered by screw drivers is total bs. Thanks for fking us royally and forcing us to get a very much unwanted car digging us in to a huge financial hole after being fkd for many months with my wife and kids walking to school a few miles a day in the snow and rain. Im just glad we were not killed or injured in the crap car they built. read more

I got into an accident and I needed to get my rear bumper fixed. I had previously got into an accident quite a few years ago and had a crack in my front bumper that I never fixed. So once the insurance company quoted the amount that I had to fix the rear bumper. Triboro suggested that I use that money to fix that crack in the front bumper instead of the minor damage that was in the back of the car. I agreed to do that instead and when I came to pick up my car, I was extremely surprised to see how good of a condition my car was in. Not only was the front bumper replaced like we had agreed, but they also fixed the dent in the back of the car and used some touch up paint over a scratch I had on the side of the car without any extra cost. My car has not looked this good in years! My car was fixed quite quickly and it was a pleasant experience working with Triboro. Everyone is extremely nice and friendly. Thank you! read more
