This place has a great selection and I'm glad they're in the neighborhood, BUT make sure to check the date on the bottle before you buy. I found a few IPAs that were close to a year old, and while some beers can sit on a shelf for a long time, hoppy beers definitely do not taste anywhere near as good after a few months. Triboro beverage has a very good selection of both craft and commercial beers. They have a wide variety of imports as well. Pricing is decent and inventory is plentiful. Both warm and cold selections, ice and a giant Great Dane on the leading dock. Drive in dry and roll out with a trunk full of cool pops. Stay thirsty my friends!!!! read more

What more could you want out of a place? Not only do they have an amazing selection, they always steer me towards the best prices, since they know I love a bargain. I trekked out to find this place after seeing the extensive beer list on their website. They had almost none of what they listed on their website. I asked the gentleman working there where the Westbrook Mexican Cake was, and his reply was "that's not out yet. It sells out immediately anyway". I found six bottles in Brooklyn, no problem. For years this was the place that I went to for my Super Bowl (oops, I mean BIG GAME) parties to pick up kegs and cases. I stopped in last weekend to double check what they had in cases, and found a huge new addition that was stocked floor to ceiling with craft beers. Picked up a few things at better than supermarket prices, and was really impressed that the beer guys on Astoria Blvd have grown up. I'll be back on Sunday for my bulk purchases, but I have a feeling that I'll be making more frequent trips here, even when I'm not trying to sate the unquenchable thirst of 2 dozen drunken football fans. read more

The keg was delivered late and the delivery team made a huge mess in the hallway and in our apartment. Scheduling pick up, which we had paid for, was difficult as I was initially asked to be available for a six hour pick up window. It was narrowed to three hour period and I took off from work, but then they never showed up. read more

First of all. We are all going to miss their giant great dane named, Guiness.He was the greatest dog that you ever wanted to meet. He was as big, as most customers, and he will be missed. a good beverage shop in astoria that the experience beer lover will like very much with its many variety of beer including the craft types . i really can't say if the prices are much cheaper then most liquor shops or supermarkets but i assume they have more choices here . plenty of kegs were going out right into the parking lot out front and them suckers are heavy as i semi picked up one helping a pretty lady get hers into her jeep (to be honest a worker inside did all the work ). i am more of a diet soda jerk but prices were about what you would pay at your local supermarket when it's on sale so i didn't purchase any but i did pick up the italian beer i was told to get and some craft beer six pack that has a really cool artistic label on the bottles . if you need a keg or two or some fancy smancy craft beer, tri-boro beverage in astoria should appeal to the locals and non locals like me and the colorful neatly display of bottles and cans on the shelves is pretty cool . read more

Good selection! Staff is always ready to help. They also have a lot of parking so if you need a keg or a large amount of alcohol you don't have to walk with it. It helps especially because parking is so hard to find in Astoria. read more

Found trip-boro after googling beer distributors in Astoria. Conveniently located with average prices. I was most likely persuaded to go here by reading the previous yelp reviews about Guinness.
