My issue is with the BILLING department not the services provided as I am happy with my Dr. I paid for services on 8/8. They held onto my refund until I called and requested it be refunded on 9/23. On 10/3 I still do t have it back. They only process refunds weekly??? But it has been more than a week. Payment for services is expected ASAP by the provider however trying to get a refund timely is like pulling teeth. read more

Don't get me wrong, love my doctor. I've been trying to get a prescription filled now for 8 weeks. The insurance says they're waiting for pre auth and medical records. This isn't the first medication I've had issues with. People don't care, no one follows through, I even asked to speak with the office manager, no call or response. read more

I transferred to this Cardiologist practice two years ago and was assigned Dr. Kahlon. Dr. Kahlon baselined me with a series of diagnostic tests which revealed intervention was necessary. I definitely recommend this group for quality of care, but for efficiency of office visits, check in and check out, they are the absolute worst I have experienced. Their doctors are top-notch for diagnosis, right level of treatment and diagnostic testing. The waiting room is comfortable, but usually quite full due to poor throughput. Often there is a line of a half dozen people checking in and on my current visit there were more than a dozen patients waiting to check out. They definitely need to rethink their office management system. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THEM !!! Mcdonalds of heart healthcare , You go in to the office it's like they are herding cattle. We were only with them for three weeks . They do not know what the fudge they are doing. They dr took a whole 9 mins with my husband. Had him off for 4 months of work could not tell me why . They canceled appointments on us the morning of as we were getting ready to leave the house. Then reschedule that one to cancel the next day again , I asked the office why they keep canceling . I have been needing to establish a relationship with a new cardiologist after moving to Mesa from Denver and was referred here by my PCP. Front office and nurse were great! Friendly and helpful. However, the Cardiologist was not. He walked in the door and the first thing he said was "Do you smoke??". He did not introduce himself, did not say hello and did not look at me. He grew more and more defensive when I asked any question, asked about cost or mentioned my health history and records. He made assumptions about me without taking the time to actually ask my opinion. He was short, bad tempered and appeared annoyed by my even being there. By the end of the "visit", looked at me and said "Why are you even here??" He had no patience when I asked a question about *my* health and health history and results of tests that I had already had run. By the end of the visit, he suggested he wasn't a good fit (and, by this point in the appointment, this was glaringly obvious). The entire "consultation" took maybe 10 minutes before I was dismissed. Now, I admit, I ask a lot of questions, I am wary of tests being run that I already have results for and my insurance provider has already deemed "medically unnecessary", but, if one has decided to become a care provider...there needs to be a modicum of actual care, listening, attention. I truly hope he was having a rough day (we all have them) and this wasn't indicative of how he treats everyone in his care (yes, even opinionated women) If Tri City wants new patients...wants to actually be a part of a care team, they should work on how they treat and interact with people on their first visit looking to establishing a long term relationship. Before I left the exam room said he could refer me to someone else in the practice...umm "No thank you". If my first visit was any indication of patient care at this practice, I will pass. And, if it wasn't? Then Dr. Ly needs some re-training on basic rapport and how to communicate with clients. read more

Still haven't heard from the c.e.o after I left my reviews about my horrible experience during surgery & his surgeon hurting me causing pain.. he called me a baby & a girl & just kept going.. hurt so bad I threw the little heart foam squeeze stress ball. He said it hit him..if it did. It was an accident..who would try to hit a guy thats doing the surgery " during the surgery " he said he can get his nurses to say whatever he wants. Dr.jackomole or whatever his name is.. this ceo did comment back claiming he cares about all his patients & pain.. call his office. I called 3 different times to 2 locations. Never heard back from this caring ceo ! My legs are in pain & its getting worse. Dr.jackomloa isnt a nice guy.. I can only imagine how he treats his staff .. his assistant isnt that great herself .. she did my ultra sounds. I told her I was in a bad accident & hurting to be in that position & too ling with her pushing down so hard.. just like dr jackoloia she stopped & said this is over. Even calling the doctor directly still gets you transferred to the same person who's been blowing us off for two weeks. I have been seeing Dr. Kolli at Tri City Cardiology for about 18 months. I have found him to be a genius, always has the answers to my concerns. He is never rushed and has a very calming nature. Dr Yelimanchili started out great, until he got his big payday from my insurance. He performed a corrective surgery on me, but I still had the horrible symptoms a week later, they gave me a number to call with any concerns after discharge, no one ever returned my call and the physician mentioned above advised his staff that he would address my concerns with my next appointment, problem is I needed answers now, not a week and a half into the future, he neglected my care and refused service at that time. My only other option would have been to go to the ER, which at that time wasn't necessary, however it should be noted, I did ultimately check my self into the ER two days later. Tri City Cardiology is huge, they care about one thing, money. Do yourself a favor, go to a smaller firm and receive the care you deserve. Finally per an unnamed law firm, this type of neglect is perfectly legal. read more

Very unprofessional and uncaring staff. They waited until we arrived at the clinic and checked in to inform us that the doctor was not coming. They had known for two hours and not bothered to call us. My husband is not mobile and it is very difficult to get him out of the house. It was very stressful for him. They ended up scheduling us for later in the afternoon and waited until we left the clinic to cancel that appointment as well. read more

TERRIBLE, I had chest pains and it took 5 months just to get in and see my doctor. He said I was fine and sent me home. When I asked for a refund he got mad, but he could not help me with my aliment which I was in constant pain. Also this office is so big, you feel like cattle and it took almost 1 hour just to check out after seeing the doctor. I can not recommend this place. I have been a patient of Tri-City for over ten years. Because I have AFib, I have to take a blood thinner to prevent clots. I have always had my INR monitored at their Coumadin Clinic until recently, when they decided to close down all their clinics. They decided all patients who are on blood thinners should start taking Eliquis. I feel abandoned !!!! I don't want to take Eliquis and there is only one place I can go to to have my INR monitored and its too far for me to travel. I am currently having my Primary monitor me but he is not really educated on the subject. I am currently searching for a new cardiologist. read more

i was told by another provider that the medication regiment prescribed by Dr. Ritchie was inaccurate. I called Tri City to discuss the matter on a Thursday really concerned and confused with blood pressure really high 180-195/130 No .response Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I was OK during the day but really high at night, palpitations, panic attacks. Most frightening experience I have ever experienced but believed someone would call the next day. Monday after made several calls to the office but got nowhere., I drove to the office and asked for help. Still no contact Monday, Tuesday, until 3:30 Wednesday got a call from Tri'City 's office manager. She told me I should find another opinion and another office. I was banned because I said, "You don't give a shit about the patients." I have called and called the corporate office to get someone to hear me; I even drove out to the administrative office in Mesa. Angela was not there but asked that she call me. I never got a return call. I have never experienced such unprofessional, and unethical practices. But they keep sending a bill. I submitted a one star eview and it was never published; so I am sending it again. read more

Tri-City used to have incredible service levels, but over the last 6-9 months they have tanked. You can tell that something has changed, they have obviously cut way back on staff in order to put more money in the Doctor's pockets. Good luck getting through on the phones, or getting anyone to call you back. Even the messages in the patient portal go nowhere. Very disappointing to see an office that used to genuinely care about patients change direction and have their service levels bottom out. We are changing to a new cardiologists office, since this one literally makes my heart hurt when I try to contact them. :( Update : after 35 minutes I hung up and called back. I told the operator all I wanted to do was cancel all of my appointments so I can change doctors. I was not good by to wait 35 more minutes to do that. She told me that they had lost a bunch of people and had been shortstaffed for several months and they're not paying people enough money to come to work for them. So I guess the patients really are paying the price because the doctors won't pay a decent wage. It's disappointing. read more

I have been going to Tri-City Cardiology for many years. My cardiologist always takes the time to answer my questions when I see him. I realize they are a busy office so if I have to wait, I'm ok with that. I know when my turn comes I will be given the time I need to be heard and have my concerns answered. I think some people do not take into consideration that there may be times that emergencies arise and their doctor may have to squeeze a patient in. When I went to the Baywood location for a stress test, everyone was friendly and professional. The technician was very good and while I was apprehensive about the procedure my technician was very calm and reassuring. I have also been to the new Surgical Center in Mesa. It is a beautiful facility. Everyone is so pleasant and professional. I had an angiogram and a stent put in. I completely trust my Doctor and the supporting staff. read more

The worst phone system ever! I'm on day 2 of trying to reach the office. I tried to get a call back last night and when they did I answered only to be hung up on with no one ever speaking (huh?) today I've been on hold again for over 1.5 hours yikes! I called and reached their call center from another phone. They will not take a message only transfer and was told they have 45 calls on hold! WOW!!! I can't even start to tell everyone what a disappointing experience this was. I am a Canadian and can have this work done for free. I decided while here to have the big three done: Heart monitor, stress test and ultrasound. In my mind I mistakenly thought the US Doctors were better. No!!! They are not. After all the test results came in the doctor sat with me for 5 minutes and said I was 'fine'. That is all I got! I asked how can I be fine with the symptoms I experience? The doctor repeated I was fine and left. My associate, a cardio thoracic doctor, asked about my results and I mentioned I was fine. He said I was not fine and asked to see the results. He explained to me what the results meant. My personal doctor also said I was not fine. She also explained what the problem was. My take on Tri City Cardiology...If there is not an operation looming and a big bill they can charge, they have zero interest in you. I am not 'fine'. What their doctor really said is that you don't need an operation so you have no value to me so get out of the door. My comment: never, ever go to this place. They just want to generate big bills and a patient is only a dollar sign. read more

I am very disappointed with their service. I have been going to them for a while. My doctor wanted me to get a stress test. My appointment was for 2:45 and after going through all the COVID tests trying to get in the Baywood office on the first floor and again on the 3rd floor and then waiting to sign in, it was 2:47. They said because I was 2 minutes late, I would have to reschedule. I am disabled and have someone drive me to my doctor appointments, so this took two of us out of our way since I live in Tempe and having to drive all the way out to east Mesa. To reschedule the appointment would have taken a half hour because there were so many people in line trying to do that also. I cannot tell you how many times I have waited in in their waiting room to be seen for 30-45 and even an hour to be seen in the past and then they cancel my appointment for being 2 minutes late is crazy. I left without rescheduling an appointment. This was ALL BS. They said I should have gotten to the appointment 20 minutes early, but NO ONE told me that when we made the appointment and when they called to confirm the day before they did not tell me that either. read more

I don't know what the relationship is between this practice and Banner Baywood Hospital, but my dad, a long time patient of this practice had a heart attack last night and was admitted to the Banner Heart Hospital and 24 hours later has still not been seen by a cardiologist. This is my experience: The doctors will show up at your bed side you won't remember them while you're in the hospital or after you're discharged and the huge bills will roll in after you're discharged and you won't know what they're for when you call their billing the people will be rude to you and won't explain what they're huge bills are for, they'll tell you to just pay the bill and medical treatment isn't free......when you're about to get discharged from the hospital the doctor will show up with drag pitching you on going to going to their city of mesa location the black lady at check-in will make every effort to upcharge you on your copay (do yourself a favor! call your insurance company in advance do not trust the front desk check in staff they'll over charge you for the copay and promise you they will refund and adjust the bill in the future when you call to get it refunded the rude billing department will tell you the front desk staff made a mistake and refuse to refund you the scam over payment, it's a racket simular to a Ponzi scheme remember this is my experience if you make it to the doctor and complain the doctor will brush over it saying they don't have anything to do with the billing department or front desk you'll get better treatment at Burger King folks then Tri city cardiologist! do your homework people because if you don't just pay the bill like the billing department said to me they will threaten to send the bill to their fancy collection agency which is extremely rude based on the fact you're looking for medical attention trust this Tri I give them1 start hopefully people will read this honest review as it's my honest horrible experience with Tri city cardiologist and i can't be the only person experiencing these horrible dealings where there's smoke there's fire people! I contacted them because my primary care physician said my BP medication wasn't working. She was concerned about me. I have been a patient at Tri-City for four years. "Brandy" told me over the phone that I "can always call 911 for an emergency." In response to that remark I said, "so I'm supposed to call 911 to have my meds adjusted?" I told her that I thought I was taking meds to avoid having to call 911. Silly me. This incident just shows the incompetence of the staff at Tri-City Cardiology, and that includes the doctors as well. I contacted them on 5/4 bc my BP had gone up 13 points, and now on 5/13, I still have not had the situation resolved and my BP has gone up another 18 points. I am really concerned as I recently was diagnosed with AFib. Tri-City Cardiology has absolutely no sense of urgency when it comes to patients' needs. If you call more than once, they put you to the back of the line again for 72 more hours. According to Medicare, a doctor is supposed to contact his patients within TWO DAYS or it is considered medical malpractice. Just saying. read more

Doc told me I had a myocardial infarction and the the PA tells me that I didn't and i must have misunderstood and it's not in my chart. How would I even know that terminology if they hadn't told me. Does not answer or return phone calls. I physically went there to try to get my script refilled because they don't phone communicate and that was a waste of time. On hold for 45 minutes then get someone who transfers you into another perma hold. Seriously? This 2023 and they operate in an archaic business model. Get your act together.
