We needed our truck towed back to our mechanic in Mesa after it broke down just north of Sunset Point. We are Triple A members so we requested service through them. They referred us to Tri City Towing. I called at 9AM to see how long it would be before the tow truck arrived. The dispatcher said 60-75 minutes. The driver never showed up. After 90 minutes I called back and was told the driver was 20 minutes away. Then the driver called and said he had to make another stop before he could pick up our truck. It is summer in Phoenix. We were lucky it was a little cooler and we had plenty to drink. If not we would have been in trouble from dehydration and probably needed to call 911. In addition there was almost no cell service where we were parked. We had to walk about 5 minutes to get service. We continued to wait. It took 3 plus hours for the tow truck to show up. Then he told us we would have to go back to Phoenix through Buckeye because he had to drop off another car. At this point it was not like we could say no. The air conditioning in the tow truck was barely working. The driver said the company employed 32 people and 2 mechanics. Clearly they need to hire one that knows how to work on air conditioners. We were getting very dehydrated from waiting so long to be picked up and the AC not working. The conversation with the driver was laden with the F word which we did not want to hear. When we were driving on the city streets he was following way too close to the cars in front of him. The last straw was the driver almost ran a red light right before our destination because he was too busy talking and not paying attention to driving. It took us over 8 hours from the time we called for the tow to arrive at our destination in Mesa. Unfortunately this tow company has the contract with AAA from Black Canyon City north past Flagstaff and over to Prescott. If you are an AAA member and they try to assign you to Tri City Towing do not use them. Tri City will lie to you about how long it will take for them to arrive. They will not tell you how many hours it will be before you are dropped off at your location. They will add other cars to the trip because they are more concerned about making money than customer satisfaction or comfort. read more

Tyler was totally awesome. He took such good care of our Motorhome. I was very concerned it would be damaged loading it onto that semi truck. Tyler took his time and pulled it up there with only fractions of an inch to spare. His rating would get a Big 5 by me. I had to reduce it a little do to the pricing, I can only hope they have to charge what they do because they pay Tyler a lot of money which he deserves. read more

This is the worst service I have ever received, they towed my truck from AZ to CA and they called me halfway n told me I have to pay more because they messed up or they wIll drop my truck n leave it on the side of the street. My friend and I were driving home after I picked her up from church. All of the sudden my car lost all power and I didn't know why. I called for a jump and OnStar sent out Tri-City Towing with Edison the driver. He was very nice and tried to jump start my car, but could not do it. He said that it seemed like it was the alternator. Not the news I wanted to hear. Edison left, I walked home to get my friend's SUV and came back to the hotel I had managed to limp my car in to then called for a tow to the house. Edison came out again. He not only got my car on the truck carefully but quickly, he took it to the house, backed in to the driveway, and somehow managed to park the car perfectly. I would not wish that anyone be stuck as we found ourselves today but if you do, I highly recommend Tri-City Towing and Edison. read more

Johnny with Tri-City was personable, professional, and careful when he picked up my bike today when I had a flat tire. Bike owners are very picky and Johnny exceeded expectations in every way. Our rental car broke about 60 miles north of Phoenix during evening hours and after struggling for a few hours with other tow companies that AAA contacted for us, we were lucky to get referred to Tri-City Towing. Tri-City towing was quick to respond and get on their way to help us. While we were waiting, we received various texts to update us and make sure we were safe, they were super professional and courteous. Once on site, Mr. Mark was very knowledgeable and efficient, loaded the broken Van in the tow truck and took us to our destination. Not only he displayed great care and dedication to the service he provided, he also waited to make sure we have transportation to get us safe and sound to the place where we were supposed to spend the night. We are very thankful for having his help and recommend them without hesitation. We hope we never find ourselves again with a broken car, away from any hwy exit at night, however, if it was to happen again, we know for sure we will trust this company to take care of our family. Tuesday 11-12 we were coming home to Cottonwood from Prescott when we smelled something burning from the front of our 1971 Chevy C20 truck, then the smoke started. Pulled over into a dental office parking lot and called our roadside assistance company, then a very helpful dispatcher called Tri-City Towing, and we couldn't have been in better hands. John Tucker showed up in 35 minutes with his big beautiful flatbed tow truck and within 20 minutes we three were headed to Cottonwood. John's friendly and professional manner put us at ease right away. He took great care in loading our truck so he didn't damage the chrome bumpers and even checked our exhaust pipes to make sure they didn't scrape the ground as he carefully began pulling the truck onto the flatbed. He's also a conscientious driver and expertly handles his big rig. When you own an older vehicle it's great to have a reliable towing company like Tri-City Towing saved in your contact list. About the worst towing company in Arizona! Believe me read this before even considering giving them a call people like this should run out of business. They have a better chance at running a taco business then an actual towing business. If I could give them a negative 10 review I would, sadly that isn't an option but i will Yelp everyone else who's stuck on the road or whatever the reason may be! These people are not the people to call. They do not care about you or your car but they do care about the money they will squeeze out of you. They sincerely don't care about you or the car. I hope they shut down within a month. They should Not even be allowed drive a tow truck. They know nothing. Believe me when I tell you these people make excuses, lie about everything, laugh in your face. Nobody could ever top off how rude they are. I really hope you read this before even considering them. worst experience ever working with tri-city towing in chino valley!!beyond rude,showed up 2hrs late,gave me a discount, i had to leave keys, would call and make payment after car was acutally picked up and delivered to auto shop!driver told my mechanic what they told me originally,then scratched out and added more to the bill!i had an angel that day it was bill benson owner of twin lakes auto, who paid by towing bill,cuz the driver was not going to drop off my car!! later found out i was acutally working with the owners!! do not make the same mistake i did,do not use tri-city towing!!! read more
