Turned out I needed a replacement part for an old Maytag gas stove/range. It was discontinued but they were able to get a refurbished part within 5 calendar days. Very pleased! I was told they also do refrigerators and dishwashers. I would trust them with all these kitchen appliances.

After providing our home address, I was given contact information for *the* top rated LG authorized repair service in the metro DC area. I am very pleased to write this review on behalf of Mr. Atta Hadi owner Appliance Care, LLC 2905 Preston Ave Alexandria, Va 22306-1728 #301-979-5049 https://dmvappliancecare.com/ Mr. Hadi and his staff at Appliance Care, LLC have lived up to their reputation and their many positive reviews. My original phone message, on a Saturday, was responded to very quickly, I was informed what the service call & diagnostic fee would be, and less than two hours later, after coming to our home to examine our washer, Mr. Hadi explained what the problem was, the replacement part needed (new control board), and what the total cost (part + labor) would be if I wished to go forward, which I did. Four days later, Mr. Hadi arrived with his staff, installed the new part and restored 100% clothes washer service. For me, 78 years old, the Appliance Care, LLC business is a rarity for many reasons: They respond quickly to msgs They call prior to arrival They are upfront and truthful regarding total diagnostic and repair fees They respect people & property They clean up well It will be my pleasure to provide anyone in need of the services provided by this company, my highest of ratings.     Absolutely horrendous…read more Called Arva because an appliance they installed was malfunctioning. Not a big deal, these things happen. Their initial service wasn't very good, but thought I'd call to see if they could help me problem solve. As it was a pluming related item, I called the number the repairman left and asked if I could speak to someone about "plumbing repairs." Was very angrily told "we don't do plumbing, look elsewhere" and hung up on. Okay. Not every employee is gonna put your best foot forward at a company, but no big deal. So I called again, hoping for another person. I started with the same greeting: "Hi, I was hoping to speak with someone about a pluming issu-" and was met with the following: "We don't do pluming, find someone else." And then he hung up. So to recap: terrible and unreliable work, and just hostile employees. Avoid them at all costs.

    AVOID THIS COMPANY…read more Rude office (maybe the owner) and they could not fix 2 of my appliances in a rental. Service call for dishwasher. Couldn't repair. Told I needed new dishwasher and they could sell me one. The service call was fairly inexpensive so instead of going to a big box retailer, I wanted to support a local business with repair trucks on the road. BIG MISTAKE. Claimed dishwasher was ordered. Nearly two weeks later - nothing. Here is where things really went south. I also needed the fridge fixed in the same unit. They came for service call. Said needed to order parts. I ok'd. Days later part comes. $389 for a repair BUT MY TENANTS ARE TOLD AFTER THE REPAIR TO TURN THE FRIDGE OFF so it can defrost. My question - why didn't you ask them to do this before?????? My tenants lose food and take other food to family member. They follow instructions. Start it up again. It still doesn't cool. Company comes back out and says do it again!!!! That's when I asked for a refund which they agreed - although it hasn't been received yet. I would have stuck it out with them. Steve the repairman was nice enough. It just fell short. It was the office staff (maybe owner) who made it easy to leave them and take the time to share my experience.
