Nathan is the real deal. We had THREE gophers, one in the backyard and two in the front, and he trapped them all in under two weeks. Our yard and plants are happy. He is extremely professional. No contracts, pay an up front fee and a final fee when he traps them. Examples of additional fees would be if he finds more gophers or if there are a lot of visits involved. He visited four times in under two weeks, it would have been quicker but the third gopher appeared later on. Wow. Great service. Most other places would not check up that frequently. I highly recommend Tri Valley Trapper. Nathan trapped a mole in one of our church campus lawns, and a gopher in our courtyard in September. Last week he trapped another mole. He was able to trap all three within a week of setting the traps. As a retired biologist, I have trapped both moles and gophers in past years, but Nathan's expertise and success far exceeds mine. Trapping is final while poisoning is not. Unfortunately with poisoning, you don't know if you killed the critter, or he just moved to another location on your property. Just had Nathan come by to trap a mole that has been tearing up my front lawn for 3 weeks. I had tried all kinds of store bought solutions but nothing worked to get rid of this mole. Instead, every morning, I'd be greeted by yet another couple of dirt piles in the middle of my nice lawn. I have had gophers. Managed too spend a few hundred on various store remedies over a few years, in trying to get rid of them and even got a few, but it was frustrating guess work. Call this guy - don't waste any of your time trying to get rid of your gopher problem - just call him instead. We had a gopher that was ruining our back yard and digging around and behind a stacked stone wall causing lots of problems. Nathan came the day we called and deployed a trap - 48 hours later he removed the dead gopher and neatly repaired the holes where the trap had been. Super friendly and very professional. He also looked at another spot where something had dug a hole under our storage shed. Rather than charge us to set a trap he recommended filling in the hole to see if the animal cleared it out again because he thought it looked unoccupied - he was right and so saved us some money.
