I put out a request thru Yelp and EcoGuard Pest Managment responded with a phone call. The guy who spoke with me said they could come today Monday, 21 2026 early becuase he said no one could be in our business for two hours after treatment for roaches in our commerical laundry. I said we can open at 10:00am he agreed and said the person would arrive between 7 and 8 am. I arrived about 6:50 am and waited till 8:30am I called and some lady told me the tech that was suppose to be at my location is work on another job and would get there as soon as he could. I told her not to bother as we have lost two hours of business and I have waisted two hours of my life. I asked here to refund my deposit she told me the card was not charged. Updating my review after the owner's response -- and honestly, it's clear they're not being truthful. We never agreed to any fee "three months ago," and the fact they're only bringing this up now is a huge red flag. If the owner claims we did agree, then please reply here with a screenshot of what I supposedly agreed to. All of our communication was through text, so it wasn't "over the phone" or anything like that. And if they want to claim it was a call, then they should release the recorded audio. Also, my original 5-star review was basically for Devon (you can see that in the review details). I was never fully comfortable with the company itself because of their reputation and the number of fake-looking reviews, which is why I ultimately didn't move forward with them. One more thing: when I changed my review to 1 star after what happened, they immediately started begging me to remove it. (I attached the evidence here as well- they called and messaged from different numbers asking to remove the review also admitting that they are sorry that free inspection message did not forwarded correctly) .That only adds to the red flags. My advice: stay away. And when you check their reviews, focus on the real, active reviewers -- not the obvious fake ones. read more

I solicited some quotes on Yelp for a nontrivial ant problem. Most of the replies I got were "quote-bots" either quoting a flat rate with no further detail or inviting me to either click a link or give up my phone number, but in contrast, Anoki from EcoGuard wrote a personal reply and actually provided a phone number where I could immediately reach him directly.
