I found these guys and got a reasonable quote. We worked around my friend's doctor appointments and drove from Brentwood to Tracy one morning. We arrived, hobbled in, (I was on crutches from a foot problem, he on his walker) and were immediately treated like royalty. The took the keys and whisked the truck away. We wandered around looking and asking questions about a variety of products they carried and before we knew it they were handing back the keys, we paid for it and went outside to see how the new cover worked. I returned after a good experience 4 years ago with my last truck. They really did a great job with the Line-X premium spray on bedliner on my 2023 F-350 Super Duty. They made sure to take out all the bolts & tie downs before spraying, and they also kept the fifth wheel/gooseneck hitch free of any spray. They did mention the bedliner on the tailgate may affect the auto tailgate release/close function on new Ford Super Duties, but in my experience so far no issues. I paid $804 including sales tax + 3% credit card fee for Line-X premium for a short bed (6.75") Super Duty. read more

Great work done in the timeframe it was promised. Parts prices were similar to what you can get online. Canvassed another shop and their prices were higher and even wanted to upsell me on some additional wiring and switch plus additional labor costs. Troy was extremely helpful and honest on his advise and was able to get the truck into the shop within the same week. Ordered Tuesday and Truck was in the shop at 8a and out at noon on the Friday of the same week. That being said if you want it done right you should take it to Tri-Valley Truck Works on Larch road in Tracy. I unfortunately had my tonneau cover done at 4 wheel parts in Stockton. When the cover kept sliding open they didn't even try to fix it and said the cover was fine. As soon as I parked my truck in front of Troy's shop he knew what the exact problem of why the tonneau cover kept opening. You want to to go to someone with over 25 years of experience and knows why they are talking about. If you need a tonneau cover or truck bed with line-x (which ours looks amazing) for your truck I advise you to take it to Tri-Valley Truck Works. Very happy with the product, the process and customer service. I purchased an new work truck to haul all my bbq equipment and made an appointment to get the bed to get Line X'd. I was considering getting a drop in liner as that what I had in my previous truck but everything slid if I didn't tie it down. I'm so glad I got Line x because everything stays in place and after moving my grills, coolers and charcoal in and out of the bed multiple times each day it's proven to be very durable. Sorry to say that I absolutely don't recommend this location for Line-x. I'm very disappointed in the quality of my bed liner application. It's clear they rushed it and didn't take care when masking off my truck. I had to go back for them to clean overspray from my paint and there are numerous examples of sloppy work. When I asked about touch ups, they made up excuses, we're dismissive, and even a little rude. They didn't offer a partial refund or any resolution. EXCEPT... they took the opportunity to make my brand new truck their own personal billboard. Embedded a LINE X sticker in the actual truck bed and then added a decal to my back window. The truck bed now has a nice big circle where their sticker used to be. Imagine if they painted cars, would they paint LINEX on the side of it? Unprofessional in my opinion unless compensated with a discount (which was never discussed). Wouldn't be so mad except for the permanent circle that's now there...forever. After doing much research i decided to go with Line-X for my 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 crew cab standard 6'5" bed. I could have gone with a Line-X dealer close to home but went with Line-X in Tracy, Ca. Spoke with Gina & Troy about my expectations and they both took the time to explain my choices. I went with the premium line x and it looks excellent! They also installed my side steps. First off if we could give more than 5 stars we would!! We are traveling and pulling out of a parking area we heard a screeching sound. Stopped and found that 1 of the security brackets for the truck cover had come off and the rail popped up and put a hugh whole in our 5th wheel. We called and spoke to Troy who just happened to have a new bed cover for our year truck. When we got to his shop we were told that he could order new rails thus saving us the cost of a new bed cover!!! Because we will be able to return after the new rails come in we opted for just new rails. Troy was looking not to line his pocket but to save us money! How many companies do that? Answer...not many. We cant thank Troy enough! And if we ever should need a completely new bed cover we will drive here to get one, even tho it is 325 miles away from home. Exceptional Service! read more

Good service is hard to find nowadays. However, I have nothing but great things to say about Tri-Valley Line-X. I just had a bakflip mx4 truck bed cover installed on my f-250, and it turned out great. From initial call of order (Friday) to when it arrived at the shop (Tuesday) the customer service was top notch. During my extremely short wait to get my cover installed (30 minutes) Jeana and Troy gave me the run down on my cover I purchased from operation, removal, and installation. It was very obvious they were extremely knowledgeable about all truck related accessories. I'm so glad I found this place as I was struggling to find a good shop in the Tracy area to install accessories on my truck. I highly recommend this shop for all your truck accessory needs. Over the weekend one of my hinges on my fiberglass cover broke. I called and spoke to Troy and explained what happen and supplied him with the serial number off the cover. He called the company that makes the cover and got back to me quickly. He said it would take 2-3 weeks to get parts. I explained that I needed these parts for next weekend as i had a trip planned. I work for a shipping company and asked if we could order the parts and I would charge it to my account. He said he would check on something and call me back. About 15 min later he called back and said he had them in stock and could install them later on in the afternoon. Met with him at the shop and was told it would take about an hour. So I was quoted one hour of shop rate plus parts. 15 min later job was done and everything was working just like before. I figured i would have been charged half hour of labor plus parts but that wasn't the case. All and all, I am exited that he had the parts on hand and that the he could fit me into the schedule. I would return to them if I need anything else done and recommend them to anyone else. read more

Went in with my brand new 2021 Ford truck for a line-x liner, around 200 miles on the truck when I arrived and less than a month old. The liner looks nice, unfortunately they also dented my tail gate by opening it when something was on the bumper. I washed the truck the evening before and everything was perfect, when I washed it again 3 days later due to rain I noticed the dent. I brought this up to them right away they denied that they did it. I literally drove to the install and back and parked in my driveway and they claim they couldn't have possibly done it. Like who else could have done it? They were the only ones to lower the tailgate which caused the dent as they left a tool on the bumper. Obviously having a brand new 80k truck get dented makes me exceptionally mad, but accidents happen and I gave them multiple opportunities to make This right before posting this. What is unacceptable is when those who make mistakes refuse to rectify them. I strongly recommend not doing business with this line-x dealer. read more

I have used this business twice. Both times I have had EXCELLENT and FRIENDLY service by all. The first time it was to order an old part for my Snug Top. Just today I went to again buy a part for my Snug Top. While the part number was being checked it was physically checked and fixed on the spot for no charge. Plus owner noticed my top was badly peeling and explained how I could put in for warranty repair even thought it is 13 year old. I would never had thought of it due to how old it was.
