One of my dogs was able to get out and was killed by a car. We had to put in numerous tickets (after we moved in)to get stuff fixed like, lightning fixtures, my fence was blown down by a little gust of wind, the flooring was new, but cheaply done, tile was put on the kitchen backsplash but was not laid properly so it was coming off. Those are just a few things to list. They do not handle pest control which is fine. All of the screens on the windows were either shredded or just the frame of the screen was left and when I asked for it to be fixed I was told if I wanted it done I would have to pay for it because they wouldn't do it even though it was like that when we moved in. Now we have moved out and my husband was in contact with the manager (crystal) and he gave her and Ashley our new address in an email (on may 5/8/2026). I called about getting our deposit back and getting an update on it because the last thing we got in the mail was some state statue about how they get 30 days to review and close our account, which is fine. The 30 days was up, didn't hear anything, so I called. The lady I spoke with said that our check was sent out on 6/26/2026. I called on 7/2/26 for an update, she said it was sent to the address that we just moved from because they did not have our new address on file. I told her it was fine because we had the mail coming to our new address. My husband and I were talking about how it's been almost 3 weeks since it was mailed so we are getting a little concerned and I told him what I was told and that's when he told me about the email. So I called today (7/8/2026), spoke with Ashley, she said they don't have any tracking and that the check was sent 1.5 weeks ago (I think she just wanted to make it sound better by giving a shorter time frame than saying the actual time it has been). This happened to me and I spoke directly to the home owner who told me they were never even informed of a needed repair. Then, they attempt to withhold security deposits for repairs that haven't even been completed. I asked for the repair invoices and receipts and it's going on two weeks and I haven't received a response. Seems like the receipts should be easily assessable given that they have them listed in detail in the letter they sent me. They accuse all renters of smoking in the property in an attempt to charge $500 plus smoke remediation fees. They told me they found cigarette butts in the home and are trying to charge me for it when no one ever smoked in the home while I was a tenant. When I vacated the property, I videoed every inch of the property and as my video will prove, there were no cigarette butts anywhere in the home. They even said they have pictures of cigarette butts inside the home, yet haven't sent a time stamped copy to me. In addition, their claims of numerous repairs would certainly have resulted in many individuals being in the home since I left. How do know that one of them didn't smoke while there. I spoke with a gentleman 2 weeks ago who was there replacing windows and the front door was wide open and he was the only person there, hence no supervision when repair people are in the home. They currently have numerous lawsuits pending against them now and are about to have another one as I'm filing my complaint for unjust enrichment and breach of contract this week. Beware.

(Not at all.) A work order report such as a persistent leak in the ceiling if left un-repaired could damage the building went un-repaired for two whole weeks. Then half of the ceiling fell in and the workman wouldn't take off his shoes or wear plastic booties before entering. I may have been ahead of my time regarding preventing ecoli in my old apartment though currently wearing plastic booties to repair a ceiling to complete a work order social distancing and wearing a mask even would prevent Covid. The ceiling wasn't ever repaired and I had to get another place to stay. This rendering the old apartment uninhabitable. Even though I rigorously cleaned and scrubbed the floors avec Murphy's oil soap the owners said the floors weren't clean which is rubbish. He deducted a floor cleaning fee and the floors were spotless and he never gave my deposit back even though the ceiling wasn't ever repaired b/c the maintenance guy he sent a week later didn't and wouldn't wear plastic booties to repair the ceiling. Then I couldn't even stay in my own apartment. Within two months I had to get another apartment miles away and didn't ever get to move back in. Not that I would even want to currently. There isn't a disposal or a dishwasher appliance and there aren't central air conditioners either. There wasn't even a window unit air conditioner. My Mom bought me and I later bought a window fan which just swirled the hot air around. I probably sweated off five pounds during the Summer parce que (b/c) there wasn't even a window unit air conditioner which made Summers unbearable. I wouldn't reside there if someone paid for the place for an entire year on my behalf. If you sign a lease you will swelter.
