Plenty of space, but not a particularly nice space.

Stopped in here to do some work in the morning. There are things to like about this place: plenty of space to work, the girl working there was very nice, and the cookies I brought home with me were actually very good (a Black and White, and a Monster cookie). On the other hand: They only serve in to-go cups, no mugs. My mocha was over-sweetened and under-chocolated. The ambiance is somewhere between minimalist and industrial and definitely did not have any of the inviting and cozy vibes I like from a cafe. Basically I was able to get some work done but nothing about my experience there made me want to stay. I would come back if I lived in one of the apartments nearby, but I didn't really like it otherwise.

Quiet and relaxing space to grab breakfast, coffee, or to cowork. Spacious venue indoors and outdoors so you won't feel crowded amongst others. The egg white spinach frittatas and the berry white mocha was delicious. I will definitely return here to work because I was super productive during my visit.

nice vibe inside and not too crowded, wanted to try a new coffee shop, i got their mayan mocha iced coffee and it was 10/10 no notes. they had plenty of seating outside and inside.

I have passed by this coffee shop many times and I finally decided to try it this morning. The shop was clean and had a good variety of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered my usual drink - a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk - and it was good, although it could've been a little sweeter. I also tried the egg white bites and thought they had good flavor. I'll have to come back sometime to try their baked goods!

Have I just found my new favorite coffee shop in Durham? Decided to hunker down at Triangle Coffee House to work for a couple of hours and it was a great choice. I got an iced Bull City Turtle (advertised as an indulgent fusion of velvety chocolate, luscious caramel, and roasted hazelnuts), and it was delicious! They also have pastries and some hot breakfast items, which I'll definitely try next time. Fast & friendly service. Great ambiance for studying or hanging out- it's very spacious & there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. And love that there's so much free parking available. 10/10 would recommend!

really cute place ! stumbled upon this by accident when just searching for a nearby coffee shop that was open where i could sit and read until meeting a friend for dinner. this checked all the boxes! there's a lot of nice outdoor seating shared with the upstairs brewery, and it looks like it would be a good place to get some work done, too, both inside and outside. i ordered the mayan mocha with almond milk, and it was really good. not too sweet, and the cayenne gave it a real kick, which i enjoyed a lot. great unexpected find!

I met up with a friend on a weekday morning to check out this spot. They have a really fun variety of drink options, it was hard to pick just one - I opted for a hot Golden Latte which was tasty and different! They had several pastry options. I chose the crumb cake which was delicious. There was only one person working and they were taking orders and making the drinks. Thankfully it wasn't very busy so we didn't have to wait very long for our drinks to be made. It was really quiet inside, with most of the customers hanging out and working.

Lovely ambience, sweet barista! Ordered the Mayan latte, Turtle mocha, golden latte and for baked goods, god maple walnut scone and egg bites. The lattes are very lightly sweet, you have the option of making it sweeter, I liked that. Scone was delicious, egg bites came out still frozen in the middle, the staff was quick to sort out that problem. Overall a beautiful place to hang out, quiet if you want to study or work. Worth a try for sure.

Really love the staff here, they gave really great recs and are so incredibly personable. I'm not kidding when I say that Bean Flower is constantly on my mind. Absolutely in love- y'all come get your boba and desserts! We got their Thai tea and assam milk tea this time- I'm definitely coming back for their desserts to try next time too! I wish I had more money to buy all the art they had as well.

Overall, the espresso drinks I've had have been consistent. Nothing extraordinary, but good. Their breakfast sandwiches and burritos are quite tasty and are always on my short list for ordering. Between a coffee and a modest burrito, you're looking at $13. (Welcome to 2025, right?) My main issue is their regular coffee. I've tried their cold brew, American over ice, and others, but no matter what I do, I can't get a good cup of coffee that's bold rather than medium or light. I've ordered something I'd enjoy three times, but for some reason, it's never tasted great, and I end up not finishing it. That's a problem when I'm paying $4 per coffee. So, if you prefer dark or bold coffee, I wouldn't recommend this chain or this location. Bean Trader does a better job. Overall, it's a solid shop and seems to be a local favorite, but for those of us craving a very dark brew, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

The entrance was pretty hard to find; it is actually at the back of the building, but if you drive all the way around you should see it. It was very quiet when I came in on a Wednesday morning and I was able to get a lot of work done. I was a little sad that they charged extra for nondairy milk here because they don't at the other location, but I suppose $.25 isn't bad considering other places charge a dollar. Aside from that, no complaints! The baristas were super friendly and my drink was ready in no time.

It looks like a small neighborhood spot, but the moment you walk through the doors, you're immediately welcomed by a charming bakery counter filled with fresh pastries, coffee, and sandwiches. The ambiance is absolutely stunning--warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. I honestly spent half the meal just taking it all in because every detail was beautiful. Now, let's talk about the food... phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe it. Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Our brunch came out surprisingly fast without sacrificing quality, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure guests had a great experience. You could tell there was pride in both the food and the hospitality. If you're anywhere near Durham, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're stopping in for coffee and a pastry, grabbing a sandwich, or sitting down for brunch, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back, and this has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Five stars isn't enough--this place deserves 100.

Yonderlust is more than just a coffee shop--it's one of those spaces where you can easily spend an entire afternoon without realizing how much time has passed. It's a fantastic study and work spot: a mix of table sizes, plenty of outlets, and a relatively quiet, calm environment that makes it easy to settle in. It has solid coffee: Drinks here are consistently pretty good. I usually go for their Campfire Latte (a signature for a reason) or whatever seasonal syrup they're featuring, and their matcha latte is reliable too. It has actual, warm food: simple but satisfying sandwiches with enough variety to make for a perfect study snack or light lunch. I am often disappointed when coffee shops only offer cold pastries. It has entertainment: I love taking a quick study break to browse the shop's outdoor gear and clothing; it honestly feels a little like being transported to the West Coast for a moment (give me some Oregan vibes!). Service has always been quick and friendly. I wouldn't say any single thing here is the best in Durham--but together, it is special! There are many days when I find myself craving a few cozy hours at Yonderlust, followed by a quick dessert next door at Rose's.
