Their office assured us that they are in-network and accept our insurance to bring us in. When we got in they racked up the bill with all kinds of exams and x-rays like there is no tomorrow. The insurance didn't cover because they were not in-network and their charges were excessive. The Leech office forced us to pay under the excuse that it was not their responsibility to confirm that they were in-network (even though they told us they were). I ended up paying because I hate to argue with crooks for a few dollars and/or risk my credit rating. His name should have warned us. Definitely stay away. read more

I admittedly hadn't been to the dentist in over 5 years. From the moment I walked through the front door the staff was warm and professional. I had to have several x-rays done due to the length of time between visits and then a thorough cleaning. My hygienist was polite and took time to explain what was happening at various times. My wife had recommended a dentist in Greensboro, but it seemed wasteful to spend that much time to go to a dentist, so I began looking locally. Angie's List has Dr. Leech top-rated, so I had planned on visiting there "sometime." Sometime became now when a molar fractured; calling the office I was able to be seen quickly even without an appointment. Dr. Leech and his entire staff are incredible; courtesy and a warm welcome do much to alleviate the nervousness I always feel when entering any dentist's office; their professional demeanor and efficiency are the best I've found. The options for treatment are explained by Dr. Leech clearly and he involves the patient in the decision regarding what to do (rather than telling you what he is going to do). Great staff, great dentist and a great location; why go anywhere else? read more

I was a long-time client and they were great many years ago, but since they expanded the office, the service has gone way downhill. I was told that I had two cavities that needed immediate attention, which caused me to panic and try to save up $ for their remedy, only much later to be informed (when I presented for the follow-up, thus a waste of my time) that the x-rays were read incorrectly by the dentist (who, I will add, was not Dr. Leech) and I actually had no cavities. How does a DDS read an x-ray that poorly? I was also referred to get a periodontal surgery that cost an exorbitant amount. I got a second opinion and they told me it was absolutely unnecessary. To me, both of these situations are unacceptable. I found another dentist. read more

I saw Dr. Kiran L. Sainani as a follow-up to my previous dentist's suggestion I get some cavities looked at. I brought my X-rays and what my old dentist wrote down for my new dentist. Dr. Sainani was very nice and great at explaining what was going to get done, more than my old dentist! They even have these cool goggles you can watch movies through while getting work done. She was also very responsive about addressing issues I had when I went back for my second round of fillings. The office staff was very nice and professional, too. I guess the minus one star is for the price. In order to do everything my old dentist recommended, it cost about $200 more than his quote for me. I had to pay $300 out of pocket. That's pretty steep. read more

So, I thought I'd update my review below given a recent experience. I came in for a cleaning this morning and was told I needed to have updated X-Rays done. I have become a little less than enthused about getting dental X-Rays (or any X-Rays), since these peer-reviewed studies came out: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22492363 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20397774 I realize the technology has gotten better, but I still do not see that the benefit out weighs the risk (an odds ratio of 2 means double the risk). I was informed that they would not do the cleaning unless I got X-Rays. They said it was a law that in order for a dental exam to be done I had to have X-Rays that were done within one year (it had been 2-years for me). This seemed off to me. So, I checked, and I can't find any law that states this. Even if it is true, by law they could have still provided a cleaning because a dental exam is not required to provide a cleaning: http://www.ncdentalboard.org/FAQ1.htm#B.%20Dental%20Offices%20-%20Requirements%20and%20Procedures "Must a dentist examine every patient who receives a routine prophylaxis? Not necessarily. The law requires that a hygienist work under "the dentist's order, control and approval." The law, as it is worded, does give the dentist the prerogative to determine whether a complete examination is necessary at a given visit; however, that determination does not relieve him of his responsibility for the oral health care of the patient. A patient may not be charged for an examination if the dentist does not examine the patient, and the examination must be thorough. " If they want to refuse care because I do not want X-Rays, that is up to them as a business. But they knew I was coming due for X-Rays, and I would have appreciated them letting me know this was their policy before the appointment or to say 'ok, we'll clean your teeth now, but next time you have to have X-Rays.' For me to take-off work, be sitting in their office, and then be refused care is just dumb-founding. I should mention, all of my other visits have been fantastic. So, if you are happy to do X-Rays, Dr. Leech is a wonderful dentist. read more

I go to Dentistry at the park for all my dental needs. The staff is friendly helpful and welcoming. Whether you need your regular cleaning or something more serious like a filling or crown Dr. Leech and his staff do it the best. Dr. Leech's staff has been the team that I've trusted my teeth to since I was a child. After 20+ years of working with them I can truly say that I can't even imagine going to anyone else. I recently moved to Colorado - where I was forced to see a new doctor....let's just say "you don't know what you've got til it's gone". I'm very happy with my cleaning and consultation with this dentist office. Meg was very friendly and professional and gave me the best tooth cleaning, removing out a lot of tarter buildup just below the gum-line that others have missed. It was a top spa experience for my teeth! Dr Leech gave me a great consultation. He told me a more conservative than other dentists I've come across. He didn't push any unneccessary procedures but gave me the skinny on the state of my enamel and what areas to watch. I highly recommend Dr Leech and Meg. Make your appt early. They knew my dependent daughter's insurance had been cancelled by my ex-husband (which I did not know). Rather than contact me prior to her appointment to see if she had other insurance or if I still wanted to keep the appointment without insurance coverage, they not only went ahead with the appointment, but also made it a very expensive one by doing full x-rays (similar to what another reviewer experienced). I was a long-time client and they knew my situation well. I found out when I received the bill. When I called Dr. Leech's office, the front desk person felt certain I would get some relief - at least a discount to only have to pay what they would have received through the insurance, but instead I was billed the full 100% cost, thus increasing their profit at my expense. read more
