Ordered a matcha and lavender latte. The lavender latte had a strong lavender kick to it, which I really enjoyed. We got the 16 oz and finished them pretty quickly. Parking lot in the back. They had a pop up market in the front. They also have lots of spiritual goodies next to the cashier. There is a tarot reader available, you just have to write your name on the wait list. Pistachio Rose Latte: The floral notes of the rose and nuttiness of the pistachio are well-balanced against each other. Not too floral and not too nutty. Somehow they really do blend together. Now one would expect the drink to be more green or pink somehow but it's pretty natural, which makes sense with the overall vibe of the place. No artificial colorings or flavorings here. Ham & cheese: The pastries seem to rotate so there isn't a set food menu. They had an assortment of pastries available and my preference leans more savory so a toasted ham and cheese was perfect for me for lunch. Service was friendly and informative - they have a pretty extensive menu but the staff know the menu and can offer recommendations. The ambiance is really what would deter me from coming back. Personally, it's just not my vibe, feels a little bit claustrophobic like I'm in a old beachside cottage or mini barn. The floors are worn and tired and pained this jarring shade of teal. The plate my ham and cheese was served on was a similar shade. Blue is not a color that triggers appetite traditionally so I'm curious as to why this choice was made. If I were to come back I'd probably either sit outside or take my drink to go. Really a bummer because the latte was so good. But again, just personal preference. read more

Love this cute coffee shop in Arroyo Grande! About a 6 min drive from our hotel, we came here early morning. Service was friendly and welcoming which was a good way to start the morning. I got a cappuccino and americano to-go. The wait wasn't too bad, took less than 10 minutes to get our drinks. Love how my cappuccino came out, not bitter nor burnt. A smooth coffee that was a great pick me up. The coffee shop is also a store with clothes, books, knit knacks to buy from. The space looked pretty big with more seating in the other rooms and a little outdoor seating as well, which was perfect for our little fur baby. Looks like they serve food as well which we didn't get the chance to try! Lots of parking in a plaza. Totally recommend this coffee shop if you're nearby. read more

As soon as I walked in, I knew I would be utterly obsessed with this place! The atmosphere and just overall vibe of this place is fabulous! They have a wide variety of merchandise including but not limited to jewelry, tarot cards, crystals, and various trinkets and decor. They also have a wonderful outdoor patio area and various rooms inside where you can get work done with some peace and quiet. Added bonus, the decor throughout is cozy, inviting, and bohemian inspired which I LOVE! I ordered my normal vanilla latte, and it was absolutely delicious! The customer service was also great and everyone I encountered was so friendly. Very cute coffee shop. Their little gift area is one of my favorite places to get presents. The coffee is good, strong espresso. Staff are always welcoming even when it's busy. The only downside is the location. It's on a super busy road which makes sitting outside pretty unpleasant. It would be nice if they turned the parking lot (behind the building, away from the road) the outdoor seating area instead of the front of the building. If you can snag a seat inside, then this isn't too much of an issue but when it's busy or nice weather, it's a bummer. read more

Cute and quiet coffee shop with a very creative selection of drinks! I wanted like 4 different drinks, but of course that would've been too much caffeine for me. The pistachio rose latte was recommended and it was good, but the blackberry honey matcha (another recommendation) was the best I've had! The flavors really do come through perfectly. I got both drinks hot. They have some clothing and other items for sale, and the overall feel of the place is very tranquil. The baristas were really nice too. Not sure the story behind the name and if the actual owners are part or full Native American? Would like to presume good intentions, here. My husband wanted to try this place out. I like how they sell fun merchandise and it's very boho/hippy vibes, so if that is your thing, you will LOVE this place. They have candles for zodiac signs too. The menu is pretty extensive and the drinks sound really amazing! I got the Yuletide, iced, and unfortunately I didn't love the taste or the flavor. The spices just didn't seem to work well, but maybe it's better hot. They were nice enough about it when I asked them to make a sweet iced chai instead. My boyfriend and I just moved to the area so we decided to walk the neighborhood to see what was around and stumbled upon Tribe Coffeehouse. I was immediately in love with the decor and vast selection We ordered a hot Jasmine tea, a drip coffee, a lemon scone, a lemon blueberry muffin, a coffee cake muffin, a sausage/egg/cheese croissant and a spinach and feta croissant. We loved absolutely everything we ordered! My personal favorite was the lemon scone. I could easily eat that everyday! Unfailingly Great Customer Service and Drinks..... The Tribe doesn't look like much from the outside and you could even drive by without noticing it, but it's certainly worth tracking down. Once inside, you'll find the spot where you place an order, some nice nooks and crannies for sitting and a good selection of inexpensive, but delightful gift items. The overall atmosphere is quiet and soothing. Every drink I've ordered was expertly crafted. Not only are the young women behind the counter very well trained, but follow-up coaching is quite apparent. They've never failed to be exceedingly friendly, helpful and skilled at their jobs. The only fault I can find with the Tribe is a lack of cookies and pastries available by the time I arrive in the early afternoon. I'd suggest they expand their small display area so everyone gets a chance to eat. Otherwise, the Tribe is a great place. read more

FOOD: The cheddar jalapeño bagel with the cream cheese was great! A bit pricey but so does everything else in life nowadays right? lol. The drinks I ended up getting throughout my visit was a Caramel Apple Milk Butter Latte which was delightful! A new favorite. I am not a huge latte fan because I personally enjoy darker coffees but this was a treat! Perfect amount of sweetness and milk ratio. The Blue Pineapple iced tea I was not a big fan of but that's a personal taste. Location: Plenty of space and seats! I love the seats inside and how cozy the interior designs felt! Super instragrammable inside. It also has a bunch of products for sale which was cool. Hopefully they add more shade to the other seats outside but other than that it's a great hang out spot. One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to find the neighborhood coffee shops and give em a try. Tribal Coffeehouse certainly hit the spot! I tried the Sweetheart which was a play on strawberries and cream featuring espresso, strawberry rose, white chocolate, your choice of milk topped with whipped cream. This is definitely not in my normal coffee wheelhouse but it was perfect for vacation me. It was sweet and creamy and very uplifting. My friend got the Big Sur Latte which she felt was not her cup of tea (literally). She still liked the concept of tea and coffee; it's just that Big Sur tea wasn't quite her choice of blend. My other friend got the nitro cold brew and remarked that it was very smooth and not acidic. The inside of the cafe also features a small gift shop area featuring beachy/California trinkets and items to appeal to those who enjoy aromatherapy is many forms.
