I was notified by my Water District that I had a possible water leak in mid-August of 2024. I had a water detection company locate the leak, and they referred me to Trident. I spoke to Matthew, the owner, and was scheduled the next day. Landon arrived early and dug down several feet to a copper pipe and located the leak. It was where the detection company said it would be, type of pipe, copper, and that it would be a very small leak. Landon was professional, pleasant and showed me the section of pipe he cut out and the very small leak/hole in the pipe. Landon put in new pipe and checked the meter box, and it was no longer moving 24/7. I had to leave before the job was completed, but I did check the meter box, and it was working properly. The water district verified the problem was fixed after a 24-hour monitoring period. Great company and people to work with. The price was reasonable, and I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Even though the drain clog was not a super happy fun time, I'm so glad I found Trident Plumbing and Drain Cleaning! Our garbage disposal was making an atypical humming noise. I tried the usual DIY diagnostics but was unable to find the issue. I called three different companies to request a bid on moving plumbing in our kitchen and moving our water heater into our garage from inside our home. I got discouraged at the cost I was being quoted from the other companies and was about to give up. Trident couldn't come out for a week (which was much slower than the other two companies.) I have used Trident Plumbing and Drain on two separate occasions in the process of renovating a newly purchased older home. I found them through reviews like this and I want to add another glowing review because I am very satisfied with the work they did for me. Matt performed a variety of plumbing tasks including installing a new water heater, new shower valve, and new angle stops. On a separate occasion we had Devon install new washer valves. Matt and Devon are both excellent plumbers and completely trustworthy. They do not try to sell you on things you don't need and are very honest. They were happy to explain what they were doing, thoroughly answer any questions, and are full of helpful tips. They are also very friendly and personable but at the same time professional. I'm so grateful to now know a good plumber I can call on whenever the need for one arises; it is such a relief! I cannot recommend them enough. read more

I have used Trident in the past and trusted them. This experience was quite poor and was with a new plumber that I had not worked with before named Landon. I hired them to come out and install my garbage disposal after having a new sink put in and new counter tops. I was out of town at the time of the appt and my fiance met with Landon. This should have been maybe a $250 job on the high side of things. By the time Landon was done padding things onto the bill, he replaced four things that did not need replacing at all, one of them 20 feet away from the sink at the hot water tank which he should not have been touching at all. My fiance felt like he was trying to sell her stuff and take advantage of her. This is a terrible feeling to not be able to trust the person doing work for you. He charged us $1300!!!! I could not believe it. He said he needed to replace the garbage disposal which worked perfectly and did not need replacing at all. He also replaced three different valves that worked fine and did not need any replacing at all. I called and spoke with the Owner Matthew about this who I believe to be a good guy and he simply stood by his guy and basically told me too bad. I cannot and will not in good conscience use them again or recommend them. This is why this particular service industry has such a lack of faith. I'd be willing to bet that Mr. Landon was working on commission. Scummy! Devon was great, Matt was great....too bad I got Landon I guess. read more

Devon from Trident plumbing came out to my house to look at a leaky copper pipe. I had made a (temporary) repair. After inspecting my repair, he advised against doing anything else, offered additional advice on additional plumbing issues, all at no charge. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and integrity - and shocked that he would drive 20 minutes out in the country, spend half an hour advising me, and leave without charging anything.
