During a loved one's last days, it's easy to become so plagued by grief that we neglect to stop and consider the logistics of final arrangements. Luckily, my mom had spelled out her wishes for me, and Trident came through. The process of making arrangements with Trident was fast, simple, and the staff was in constant contact; they eased my fears, stress, and fulfilled my mom's wishes as expediently as one would hope. The transport team were also prompt and caring, and left a lovely blush rose on my mom's pillow that barely wilted after a month and a half in the champagne bottle I transferred it to and displayed on the kitchen table for comfort. It really is true that death is beautiful but dying is not and the staff at Trident Society really help eradicate the fears that crop up when one is dying. read more

I'm pretty sure you've been instructed to finally respond to this review almost a week later in the succinct manner you've written, probably to keep yourself from saying anything else inappropriate such as using my sister's full name, doubling down in your lies, and calling this whole situation an "inconvenience". Obviously, nothing can undo what's been done so I contemplated not even responding, but this whole experience was so awful, no other family should risk going through this. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. One family going through something like should be enough for a re-work but it seems that this is just a business transaction at the end of the day. Even their "apologies" are nothing more than a required response from corporate so they don't risk the chance of getting sued. Multiple conversations occurred in my attempts to gain clarity on where communication broke down. Not a single apology was given over the phone or in person. I want to spotlight Linda Mar-Veiga who was working with me to finalize all of the necessary details and her kindness and caring for my situation was outstanding. My sister in law has language barrier so I went to Savannah at Roseville Trident society to sign up her husband who was in hospice care for his funeral arrangements. We signed her husband and her arrangements and paid upfront. When her husband passed away I contacted Savannah for arrangements, she did not get back to me so I called her left her a voicemail and email . They cremated him without contacting us . And left voicemail to one of my daughter after the cremation. They did not use their all means to reach out to his wife and family to say goodbye to him. There is no way to retrace back . No closure for his wife and rest of the family. It's precious and very sad time for the our family and Trident Society have no empathy or regard for the family who are going through most difficult time. I hope this kind of cruelty doesn't happen to anyone. Please reconsider if you are going to use this Trident society for your family last of life care read more

Do not use this group. The funeral director is not properly trained to help grieving families. We called and told her we were running late and she shamed us and told us she had another family at4 and unless we were there by 3:40 we would not be helped, my brother just committed subside. From the first call after the passing of my stepfather, Trident was outstanding. He was picked up respectfully and given the military honor that he deserved. I have been meaning to give a GLOWING review to Trident Society. They were wonderful with both of my parents, most recently my dad in July. They take care of everything and in such a lovely way. They really do. I am so grateful that my dad had this arrangement in place. When he purchased the plan a few years ago, I scoffed "That is too much money. You can get cremated for a lot less than that." I am SO grateful he didn't listen to me! LOL! I had no idea what I was talking about because there is so much more involved than just the cremation itself. In both cases (my mom died in 2019 & my dad in 2021), literally one call to them and everything is handled courteously and respectfully, like little elves in the background. There is one appointment in their office to sign all of the legal & obligatory paperwork. They have a few upgrade and amenity options (interesting jewelry options) but no obnoxious pressure selling or anything like that. And then the visit to pick up the urn. And, that is it. I felt very supported by Diane. (My dad handled my mom's death, so I don't know the name of who he dealt with, but I remember him making one visit out to their office in Roseville and saying everything was taken care of as hoped.) I should also mention that 3 weeks before my dad died, his sister/my aunt died suddenly (in Los Angeles) without arrangements in place. What a study in contrast, especially during COVID! My dad was cremated before she was, hassle free. I have since purchased the arrangement for myself from their parent company Neptune (just in case I ever move away from California.) And my friend who came with me to offer support was so impressed with their professionalism and pricing that she bought plans for her mom and herself. Making cremation arrangements in advance with Trident is definitely one of the best gifts one can give to one's loved ones. Such peace of mind! Thank you, Trident! read more

While it has taken me a few weeks after my Mom's passing to get around to writing a review, I felt it was worth the time. They kept their word on everything they said they were going to do and stuck to an expected timeline, while also answering any and all questions in the interim I had involving settling her affairs. My dad passed away recently and had already had a prearranged package with Trident. They were very pleasant, caring and prompt. They did not try to up sell anything to us while we were there and seemed very respectful to us. The death certificates and ashes were given to us within 2 weeks of my fathers passing. The manager no less hands me my father in a bag instead of the beautiful box he had purchased and then after discussing it with her she lies and says every deceased person is treated this way. Do not purchase this product! They were "so busy" they could not cremate my father-in-law for three or four weeks. I also called and they told me they had their own crematorium but he was actually cremated by Mt. Vernan. Not that it makes any differences but they were deceptive. I suspect that the organization has financial issues with their subcontractors, which caused the extensive delay, which was hard on the family. Also, make sure you comparison shop before you prepay. My grandfather passed away the week of Thanksgiving, a day before his birthday. It was a hard time for all of us as we dealt with his unexpected loss, his birthday and one of his favorite holidays. We met with Savannah who talked to us after hours and immediately took charge of the situation for us. She listed to all we had to say (which was a lot), didn't try to up sell or push anything on us and was very informative throughout the entire process. I can't imagine a harder thing to go through but Savannah and Trident made it almost bearable. They are a blessing to our community and I will be making sure everyone know's. read more

I called the local office today because I received the same packet - addressed to mom at my house - who also passed 2 years ago. The man I spoke with was Tom, a director he said. I explained that mom had passed and why didn't they check before mailing. I continued to explain how rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate, and so extremely NON compassionate it is to send these out without verifying first. His response... we mail over 60million mailers a month, we don't have time to check... Apparently the living, the hearts of the surviving family members, don't matter to this company. Tom, says it is the responsibility of the family to remove the names of the deceased from any assets that are still currently listed. Please share this with everyone... this company, the directors, are rude. Disrespectful. And lazy!!! - not possible to rate with NEGATIVE stars!!! read more

I purchased a plan from Trident some years ago. I couldn't believe when the time came how well they lived up to their end of the bargain. Kind and sensitive and they thought of everything. The rep ' s name was Andreas from corporate; he acknowledged the poor quality of customer service. He was polite and courteous. It was, at the least, prudent of Trident to follow up. read more

I've had terrible service from Trident Society from the start with Mukesh Patel first selling me the package for preplan cremation. After reviewing the package fully I noticed that was being charged $1300+ for a urn in the shape of a box, thank you cards and a planner. I sent him a couple of emails to try to get some communication going after the initial visit with no response. The total for the package was $2800+. Luckily there is a 30 day cancellation policy and I sent the cancellation form in by email two weeks ago and a receipt of return of my funds was sent 10 days ago. As of yet I have not received a refund and I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to try to resolve the issue. The ladies in the office helped to resolve my issues but it may not be under their control. The ladies in the office did try to help with some of my issues, however they cannot control the release of the funds back into my account. Be forewarned that their business practices may be borderline unscrupulous. Look elsewhere for your preplanning needs. read more

There was a bit of miscommunication at first but once we got it straightened out it was fine. The director was so concerned that he personally came to my house with the cremains and flag and told me he would call back when the arrangments had been made with the National Cemetary. That was a two hour drive for him each way. He went the extra mile and I appreciated it very. I had never dealt with a cremation process before and it is different than traditional burial. But he explained it all to me finally. A rocky start but a smooth finish. I would just say to be sure and ask a lot of questions and maybe write down stuff because that first meeting with the counselor you will still be very emotional and might not remember all the details. read more
