We loved working with him before, during, and after our wedding- Beforehand, he was flexible in timing and location for the engagement shoots and showed his expertise in using natural lighting. During the wedding, we had friends comment that they thought he was a relative or family friend because he was friendly to everyone and quickly picked up on who/what we might have wanted more pictures with/of - all with very little direction from us! After the wedding, Trifon got us our pictures in an incredibly timely manner - we were so surprised! Overall, we were blessed to have 2 ceremonies (one in the USA and one in the Philippines). The photographer in the Philippines was all about posing and, while we had fun with the style that was more of a photo shoot and even some borderline boudoir style shots, that photographer would take 5 minutes to take one picture. Trifon has a more candid style, allowing more natural photos like of people hugging or laughing. I booked an appointment with Trifon in order to get a Professional headshot along with a US visa photo. He was incredibly patient and spent time adjusting the lights until he was satisfied and took some really awesome photos. He even read the US Visa photo spec (upon request) and made necessary adjustments to get the correct shot. In the end, I converted my appointment to family session-ish and took 10 pictures since I had brought multiple outfits. In a nutshell, if you couldn't already gather from my five-star rating, Trifon was absolutely spectacular! My mom hired Trifon to celebrate my graduation from Georgetown and my brother's graduation from San Jose State University. We used Trifon for our Sept. 2015 wedding and he was unbelievably great. He does a lot of prep work and it pays off. He did all of the poses we asked for, he was very accommodating to our family and guests, and he made sure to capture everything. We requested a "candid-shot" style rather than posed pictures and he was very effective at blending into the background and knowing when to capture a moment. Our pictures turned out perfect! I had a fun outdoorsy shoot with Trifon in SJ about a month ago and he was very pleasant to work with. He knows the technicalities of how the lighting should be and was very deliberate about where we positioned the shoot. Fantastic photographer, I would highly recommend! He was professional and delivered so many beautiful photos of our wedding. He worked with my husband and I to find out exactly the style we wanted, and delivered in every way. He captured so many great moments and never was in the way. He delivered the photos promptly and stayed in contact with us to make sure we were happy. After seeing our photos, many of our friends have asked who we used. I loved that we got a nice mix of candid moments, as well as some posed photos. One thing I would highly recommend, we did our portraits and posed shots before the ceremony. This allowed us time to be present for the reception and to just enjoy the day. We're a little non-traditional, so we did the posed photos a couple of weeks before the wedding. Even though this isn't the norm. Trifon worked with us so we got exactly what we wanted. He even gave us some digital copies before hand, so I framed some and had them at the reception. I called Trifon for a last minute family photo shoot. He accommodated my request on a very short notice. On the day of the shoot we got hit with really bad weather and Trifon was very sweet about rescheduling even though he was already there. I contacted Trifon a few months ago for my family photo shoot. He was very cooperative in accommodating our schedule for the appointment. I was not sure how will it go because my elder son is camera shy and doesn't like to get his pictures taken. But I like to get a family photo shoot done every year to capture their growing age.
