While I understand tragic weather played a factor in this, I was told he would be there between 440p and 530p. At 5:45, he was 15 minutes late. I called the office to see what was going on the woman I spoke to, I believe her name was ReAnn.', was rude. She told me at one point he was 20 minutes away then she said 5 minutes away. When I asked her which one it was, she said, " well, before I was interrupted, you asked for an estimated time. In the situation I was in I didn't need her rudeness or sarcasm. When I told her I was told between 430 and 530 and not 430 and 6 o'clock. She was rude. As I said, she was rude, but Ricky was great so when I called on Monday to let management know of the situation, I spoke to Shane. He was very nice and apologetic; however, he is not the one that should've been apologizing. In fact, the call to him should never have happened . Because of Ricky and Shane, this place gets four stars. What I use them again? Yes,,only if the transport was in town.

Because of the incision on her left side, it would have been impossible for her to crawl into our higher SUV which she needs a step for in the best of conditions. We wanted a transport service that would allow her to stay in her transport chair for loading and unloading. The reviews were good for Independence Transport and they did not mislead us. Valerie provided a timely estimate and assurances that they could provide the service we needed. We chose her company and she was great to work with. I am a terrible worrier and Valerie put my mind at ease. She has two vehicles available and she made sure that the one where the seatbelt came over the right side would be used so it wouldn't interfere with the incision. We had several text updates as to the time for arrival. She ended up driving the van herself and was at the right place at the right time to get us picked up. She was efficient and kind--everything we were hoping for. We would not hesitate to use this company again.
