The owners Vanik and Narine were so welcoming and kind and helped me repair my tuxedo and dress shirt that was ripped at a previous event. They took the time to explain to me what the repair entailed and made sure that I understood what could be done. When I came to pick up my clothes, they looked brand new. I found their services when I was searching for a place I could trust to alter my wedding reception gown (without breaking the bank). After asking around for quotes, I decided to give Elite a call. The woman who runs the shop was incredibly helpful: after I showed her the gown, she offered me a super reasonable quote and scheduled an appointment for the following week so I could meet the alteration lady and get my measurements taken. I was a little nervous about how casual the whole process felt, especially with such an expensive dress on the line (the store very much has a local business vibe and I got a handwritten receipt), but oh my GOSH, did they deliver. The tailor absolutely nailed it and the dress fit perfectly--plus both women in the shop were so genuinely excited and it was truly a heartwarming experience. I prepaid for the services and was given a written promise date of 2/14 for pickup. When I arrived on the promised date, I was informed that my items were not ready. The employee at the front counter, who appears to be new, simply stated, "Sorry, we don't have your items today. You'll have to come back Monday." There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience of making a trip on the scheduled date, nor any effort to offer a reasonable accommodation. Instead of taking responsibility for missing the promised date, the employee turned the issue around and said, "You've been coming here for years--when have we ever made a mistake for you?" I went back there just recently to get a suit hemmed. It was nice to know that Rubina still remembered me after all these years. I came in on a Thursday afternoon to get my suit jacket sleeves and pants hemmed. My clothes were ready by Wednesday afternoon the following week. I ended paying $80 for everything. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. All the buttons on my suit jacket were still there. I don't know how they do it because other tailors will just cut the jacket from the wrist. Very quality work. Other alterations I had Rubina do on my clothes in the past were placing darts on my shirt and also hemming my jeans while maintaining the original hem. High quality workmanship and I highly recommend Tailor Town to others looking for a good tailor.
