My daughter lives is Charlotte NC. On Sunday morning she was driving in Pineville when she heard a strange noise and her car would not go past 20 mph. She called me her father and I told her to pull in the first parking lot she saw. I began looking for nearby auto shops where she could go to as I live in Mississippi. There was a Midas right across the street but when she got there the shop was closed. I told her to go to Firestone that was a mile away and open. As she was driving there she saw Trinity auto repair so I told her to pull in there. Trinity's hours show they are closed on Sundays but it was open this Sunday. I was on the phone with my daughter when she pulled into Trinity and told the mechanic she needed help. This mechanic's name was Arthur. I heard him tell her that he normally works on European cars and her car was a Mazda. Although he said he dd not work on Japanesse vehicles he would try and see of he could help her. It took Arthur about 5 minutes to tell her he thought one of the brake calipers had seized up. He checked each tire until he checked the right front and the tire would not move. He thought the caliper had seized then he checked the brake hose as sometimes this is the problem when brakes seize. This was actually the issue. He loaned my daughter a car to go to an auto parts store to get another brake hose. By the time she returned he had everything taken apart so he put the brake hose one and blead the brakes. He only charged her $100 which was far cheaper than what he could have charged her. Other mechanics may have changed the caliper and brake hose which would have cost hundreds of dollars. Arthur even called my daughter the next day to ensure everything was working correctly. My daughter said Arthur was her angel because he stopped what he was doing and acted on her emergency and got her back on the road within an hour of her visit. She had taken this car to several mechanics with the same issue as this would happen periodically yet no other mechanic could ever diagnose the problem. Arthur is an excellent mechanic and best of all an honest one which in today's times seems rare. Thank you Arthur for taking care of my daughters issue expeditiously with minimal cost. My car was making a noise from under the front end. A friend who I trust told me about Arthur. I drove an hour and a half to go see him. As you can imagine he was very busy. He closed up and took my car for a test drive . When he returned he had heard the noise. He explained that he could not get to it today he had a few cars that he promised would be done today. I told him a promise is a promise and I understood. He checked out the car just to make sure it was not going to unsafe to drive until he could get me in. He told me he would open up on thanksgiving morning and get me in. Who does that? Arthur does that for a new customer. someone he just met. Just an update to this story. Arthur is the man that we should all strive to be. Honest , Fair, Trustworthy. Arthur did not give up until he found that noise. It may of taken him 8 hours but the noise was found. The noise turned out to be a 5/8 ths socket that a previous " mechanic " let fall into the front passenger side fender. When I would hit the breaks the socket would roll and get stuck and the noise would stop. When I would gas it the socket would roll and vibrate and make the noise. This issue i believe could of only been solved by Arthur . It used every bit of knowledge that he has amassed over the may years he has been working. Thank you again . read more

BEWARE!! I was wrong with initial review given...The mechanic, Arthur breached his duty, he failed to exercise reasonable duty of care and trust. The damages incurred are attributed to his negligence and deceit. Arthur intended to deceive me and diminished the value of my vintage Mercedes-Benz 2007 SL 550 vehicle. The damage incurred to the vehicle is great. I also believe he went joy riding in my vehicle which was part of the reason he held on to it for almost 2 wks. I have pictures of him pulling into the shop one morning before shop was opened which indicated he had been joy riding and taking my vehicle home when it should had remained on the premises. Parts which he used on my vehicle were not Mercedes-Benz parts...We had agreed that only MB parts would be used on the vehicle, which have greatly diminished its value to say the least. When I confronted Arthur he started to scream at me in front of his customers that was in the shop @ the time..."I don't care take me to supreme court". After returning to the US from Panamá to have emergency back surgery and spending 8 months in rehab, without much money, I was able to move out to a small apartment on my own, and to purchase an older Mercedes sedan that needed some work. I tried some of the more popular mechanics shops but they mostly did not know much about repairing such a unique vehicle and I could not afford the dealer. Eventually, I found Arthur at Trinity (Euro) Auto Repair and he was able to tell me everything that needed fixing, and he had the credentials to be able to do the work. I had to space out the various repairs to match my finances, but he got all of the safety items done at a price significantly below what the dealer would have charged, and even added a couple of smaller repairs at no or very little charge. My cars have been serviced here for about 3 years now. To be honest I don't believe I could find a better qualified automotive engineer. Yes Aurthur is much more than a mechanic. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Aurthur just did a pre-purchase inspection on my BMW M2. He was very thorough and gave me the green Light to move forward to buy the car. Which I did and I could not be happier. In past Aurthur checked my brakes on my BMW m235i, and with his advice we got the brakes addressed early enough so not cause bigger issues and spoil the rotors and calibers.the brakes were perfect. He did the work in record time my car and was ready ahead of his estimate. My 1st car that I took to the shop, needed some TLC and Aurthur as the professional that he is, quickly did the diagnostics came up with an action plan and sorted the car out. I've now declared Arthur (the owner) as "MY MECHANIC" because of the stellar service he provided, the quality of his work, and the reasonableness of his costs. Although I was a first time (female) customer, he treated with respect; he was honest; and he took the time to explain what was wrong with my car; what he needed to do to repair it; and what the costs would be.
