Bought my young daughter a $500 mountain bike here. Service was great, they were able to get the bike built and ready very quickly. Bought a helmet, and they even adjusted it to fit her. A few days later, I noticed that the front shocks on the bike didn't seem to work. Even with my 200 + lbs, I could barely get them to move half an inch. I returned to the shop with the bike, and unfortunately the guy who sold me the bike wasn't there. I showed the bike to the mechanic, and he told me that these bikes were designed this way, they have little or no shock travel. What - for $500!? The mechanic told me he would call the manufacturer and verify this, and would call me back within two days. He never called back. I should have returned the bike. without any shock travel, It's too jarring to ride even on a dirt road. I won't be going back... read more

Awesome. I'm so grateful to these guys. We were traveling down the 101 and at a hotel stop in Gilroy my wife's wheels were stolen off her bike. Trinity cyclery was awesome to work with! I came in last minute on a Friday afternoon needing my tires fixed (sealant and air for tubeless) for a ride the next day. I had paid and was ready to leave, but they wanted to do a once over and noticed the headset was loose and did a quick fix, but then wanted to check the front brake and ended up fixing the piston and caliper, which lead to bleeding the brakes. And of course they didn't want me to leave without the back brake being equal to the front and fixed the caliper and piston, as well as bleed the rear brake too... All on them to help me out. And to top it off, I had just recently went to another mechanic asking to have my brakes checked out and specifically bleed, but instead they just changed the brake pads and said they didn't need to be bleed (fyi, the rear brake was water only). The guys at trinity really hooked me up and saved my bike! (And me, ha). From now on, this is the only place I'll be bringing my bike for service and repair. Thanks trinity!! read more

I Can't say enough good things about this bike shop. I'm an intermediate mountain bike rider and have brought my bike into this shop about ten times for adjustments, flat tires, and even had them put in a new set of brakes, brake lines, and derailer lines. Each time I've taken my bike in I've been amazed at their excellent customer service, more than fair pricing and none of the "attitude" that you can sometimes receive at local bike shops. I've been in this bike shop a couple of times now and every time has been a great experience. For example, on one trip I went in for new tires and they didn't try to up sell me but simply patiently explained why the different tires were priced differently. On another visit, they replaced a part on my bike (I had purchased the part online) for free. I used to patronize the "other" old-time shop in town but that place has become a complete pig-sty and aside from the mechanic (new owner's) expertise there, the girl on the front lines in the shop on numerous occasion has given me extremely poor / terribly incorrect information. Luke performed some repair work for me and gave me some excellent opinions and options for my future needs. He's a wealth information and runs a tight ship with extremely reasonable rates! I agree with most of the reviewers. the service here is unbelievably good. these guys a very patient and you can tell they enjoy what they do. I had bought a new bike and the seat on it sucked so they showed me what they had and i bought what they recommended took it home. installed it and they were right. I could ride for hours now. but I just didn't like how it looked so after using for a couple days i decided to take it back and see if they can at least match the original seat. they suggested I try this cushion that goes over the seat it literally took them about 1 hour to do this. they had to taken the entire seat apart down the the basic frame. i don't know any other place that would provide a service like that. most shops would just ring you up and say have a nice day. these guys made sure i did not leave the store without them doing there best. they charged nothing for there hour service. read more

I have been in multiple times now to Trinity and I always feel like I get the best customer service/advice. I've been in when I had a flat tire, I've been in just to get a tune up and it's always the same thing; kind and helpful. Many times they will adjust something I didn't know needed adjusting and then they don't charge me! You can also make appointments if needed. read more
