One time they rescheduled one minute before my appointment. I understand things happen but the rescheduling was a trend item and common occurrence. My last appointment was for 8:00 am when they first opened. The staff trickled in between 8- 8:20. The xray equipment didn't work and the office was generally dirty. Stained carpet and dusty shelves. The dental staff itself is good. The place really needs to be managed better.

I ended up paying a large bill for treatment that would be covered if they did the treatment on separate days. The office was very difficult and unprofessional to deal with and gave me the run around. They just rack up as many things as they can to pad the bill. I still am not sure they even did the costly procedure. My insurer said it is impractical that both billed procedures are done the same day. Which is why they don't cover it if done the same.

I was taken back fairly quickly, received an X-ray and then the dentist came in to discuss the results, I did not have a cavity! The dentist told me about their yearly membership that includes an x-ray, two cleanings and 20% off any additional services. I bought the membership and scheduled a cleaning. The hygienist was lovely and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of dental care, especially those looking for affordable care.

After an x-ray revealed infection...she told me that I need a root canal. But, those take 2 visits! Pre-pay almost $200 before being seen for 1st visit, then after seeing patient suddenly say initial charge already paid doesn't include full-series xrays and that requires additional $75+!!! Excuse given that "notes say patient doesn't have full set of teeth, and because she has more teeth they NOW have to take full xray panel" What competent provider doesn't take full xrays at initial visit??? And when asked where'd the note come from saying the patient didn't have full set of teeth, they can't say! I'm told the practice is out of network for all insurance providers and you do not file any dental insurance claims directly, I must submit claims for dental insurance reimbursement - if that's the case why require all the insurance information 24 hours prior to the appointment and call insurance companies for pre-authorizations? A $25 deposit for next visit is charged at initial visit (prior to seeing dentist/hygenist) and I NOW fully understand why!!! Anyone with good sense visits once and NEVER comes back or keeps the follow up appt!!! New patient intake forms submitted more than 24 hours before initial appt are very thorough and asked extensive medical questions including all medications, but questioned for list of medications during exam as if that information is missing!? After initial exam and cleaning, an attempt for additional treatment requested a 25% deposit payment due when scheduling appointment with balance due at appointment!!! The money-grubbing is necessary because the quality of care and customer service will NEVER garner this practice repeat business or genuine referrals!!!!

The staff is nice, and courteous, the facilities are clean, and there has not been any major errors (Thank God)! But, One time I was told I had a cavity, so I was asked to make a follow up appointment, there were no appointments available but 2 weeks ahead and during a week day. Coordinated with work to get there, when I got to Stellar Dental the Dentist said I did not have a cavity so I shouldn't to be seen. (I'm not a dentist but that was weird) Another time, I arrived to my appointment to find out that Stellar Dental was no longer in the same location, there were no signs, I was not notified, nothing. I called them, it was hard to get a hold of someone other than the machines. Eventually, another staff from another office in the same building saw me, and told me Stellar Dental had moved. Once I was told they would send me an email for a referral and I had to call 3 times and ask them for the referral before I finally got it. Overall, that took about 45 days. Very Important! Stellar Dental sends appointment confirmation texts and emails. The confirmation text message says: "reply YES to confirm your appointment, and the email says click here to confirm your appointment" so you reply and click thinking your appointment is good to go. Nope! You have to reply to the text, reply to the email, and call them back when they call to confirm, or your appointment will be given to someone else. Stellar Waiting time varies from 15 minutes in from your appointment to an hour before you are even seen, so keep that in mind when planning the time you will spend there. Even if you arrive 10 minutes ahead of time and it is just a cleaning. I have seen Dr. Gotora once and it was a positive experience.

Instead of having me book another appointment for contacts doctor Mohindra Ramphal and Michelle A. took the time out of their busy day to talk to me about contacts and help me learn to put them in. Michelle was so incredibly supportive, encouraging, and patient in my learning process and helped me select my frames and order my contacts all in the same appointment. She was so pleasant and helpful to work with and these types of experiences are ones that make you go back! They didn't have to accommodate me at all but chose to do so! Thank you so much Michelle!

When I…read morefirst came to this office it was great. the front desk were nice and Dr. Vazir was welcoming but back in December I had a Root canal done & after my root canal she tried to charge me over a thousand dollars for another procedure that I did not even need & not only that she did not complete my root canal. I have been having sensitivity & pain & it is because she missed one of my canals & when I called to see if she could fix/complete it.. she told me no she can't. I was very shocked because this is your work that you failed to complete so why aren't you fixing your mistake ? If I go to a specialist or another dentist they are going to charge me out of pocket to have this completed so I'm very upset with this practice because all I wanted was a simple root canal instead Dr.Vazir made a mistake & then can't even fix it. I'm not telling other people not to come here but please be very aware I would hate for this to happen to someone else. I couldn't even get my crowns done by her bevause she wanted over a thousand dollars but when I went to get a second opinion and a third they told me I did not need that procedure & that I can get crowns with no problem. I will be taking this to social media because why are you even doing procedures like Root Canals if you can't even do them correctly. Just for them to call back a couple hours later saying she can't fix it...her mistake.
