The lady doing my daughters teeth Kenna, she said 'I know you didn't brush because of your wisdom teeth because they hurt, but why aren't you brushing the front?'. Kenna said, when she opened her mouth for a check up, the lady said, 'Oh girl'. It is complete mean girl behavior. Also, When I went myself I'm 47, I take very good care of my teeth, and she said in front of the dentist, 'it looks nice and clean at first, but when you look into detail, there's more that needs to be cleaned'. We come to you for teeth cleaning and help- not to be ridiculed for our teeth. My daughter had braces, so her teeth are straight and nice, but one hygentist told her- your teeth are crooked on the bottom alittle, this is crazy to me, why do you feel the need to comment on teeth? Not to mention they referred me to a oral surgeon not in my network so I ended up paying 2000 for wisdom teeth removal, I already paid the xrays, so I would have just wasted more money to go somewhere else. We are both sensitive and insecure about our teeth, these visits over the past year just made it worse. We will be finding another dentist office. Do better!

After which I sat there for one and a half hours. There were other patients who walked in immediately while I sat and waited. I remembered the unwelcoming receptionist had not returned my insurance card. She said she was "just calling the insurance company" (after one and a half hours!). Maybe they are only available early in the morning for 1-2 hours. But their hours of operation should reflect that. I would like to leave 2 starts but from the experience that I had with them prior to covid was pretty sub-standard. The dentist was pleasant, however the receptionist at the time was unprofessional. UPDATE: As of 5/25, I am still experiencing significant sensitivity and pain…read more I paid over $50,000 for full mouth veneer treatment with this office. Within about three years, one restoration failed and required emergency care. I no longer live in Texas, so I saw another provider locally. That provider was recommended by this office and uses the same lab. During that visit, I was shown a clear image of an unsealed margin on the tooth adjacent to the failed restoration. This area is now causing significant sensitivity and requires treatment. Despite this, I was told by Dr. Young that addressing it would be a personal choice and not necessary. I was also told that issues like this could be related to whether I was keeping up with cleanings. I have consistently attended my dental cleanings before and after the restoration. I have been trying to get help since April 11, when the crown failed. I was finally told on 4/30 that a night guard would be remade and sent. I provided my address and never received a response or update. My records state that a night guard was delivered to me after treatment completion. I never received a night guard. What I was given were retainers, which I believed were night guards all along. I raised concerns shortly after placement in 2023, including asymmetry and bite issues, and provided photos at the time. I relied on the guidance that things were addressed. I am now dealing with a failed restoration, another tooth requiring treatment, and no protective night guard despite documentation stating otherwise.

On top of that, they tried to pressure me into getting new X-rays even though my previous X-rays were taken less than six months ago. When I questioned the need for additional X-rays, they continued pushing for them and ultimately refused to perform my scheduled teeth cleaning because I declined. Another concern is the constant staff turnover. Over the years, I've had three different hygienists, which makes the office feel very inconsistent and unorganized. Overall, the experience felt more focused on upselling services than patient care. I'll definitely be finding a new dentist.

I arrived for my appointment and the receptionist greeted me and thanked me for filling out the form online. I arrived about 25 minutes before my scheduled appointment and I was called back about 15 minutes after I arrived. Danielle was my dental hygienist and she was very kind, friendly, and understanding of my dental anxiety. She took my X-rays and proceeded with my cleaning gently. It was relaxing and peaceful and I almost fell asleep lol. She regularly checked on me throughout the cleaning and made sure I was okay. Dr. Dickson came by and he was very friendly. I told him about my anxiety and how I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and he was comforting and kind. We talked about both living in the Panhandle! He took a look at my X-rays and my teeth and welcomed me back for a follow up in 6 months. I received a tooth brush too! The receptionist at check out congratulated me on no cavities after 8 years and was very kind. The overall vibe here is small-town in the worst way: outdated, uncomfortable, and seemingly proud of it. The dentists themselves are shockingly inappropriate. One of the dentists told my husband, that he just met, that he was going to spank him if he didn't brush better. They're also overbooked, disorganized, and way too busy to be giving quality care. Even though I had confirmed my appointment ahead of time, they texted me at 5:15 pm the night before my 9:00 am appointment asking if I wanted to reschedule. Between the staff, inappropriate comments, outdated atmosphere, and chaotic scheduling, I can confidently say I won't be back.
