Great spot to people watch and enjoy a pitcher of bold rock and some apps. Good college spot and good daytime family spot.

Trin's food is solidly average. They have a great $3 burger deal every Thursday, and decent prices and specials on other items. More than anything, Trin is a college bar. It's a fun place to hang out on the weekends, but their drinks are relatively expensive compared to other places on the Corner. In a place like Charlottesville with a ton of fantastic restaurant options, Trin doesn't quite measure up.

Trinity is your typical crowded, sweaty night bar for UVA undergrads and grad students. Cheap beer, big pours, and elbow to elbow kind of vibes. While that's not my jam, it may be yours! I will say, Trinity has been very gracious in hosting many Darden events such as Darden Oktoberfest and is very flexible in closing the bar for big group parties/reservations. I think they're deserving of a solid 3.5, so hopefully this review pushes them closer there.

Because I walk by this place everyday and hadn't ever eaten there, my friend and I decided to stop by for lunch on a Friday afternoon for their happy hour. They have a great patio outside on the corner that's great on a nice warm day. I ordered the veggie burger and a Blue Moon. It was just okay-I'm fairly certain it was the same No Bull patty that Bodo's serves on their bagels. On a bun with cheese and lettuce it was really nothing special (and I think it tastes better on a bagel), especially for $11. I did like that they offer a salad as a healthy alternative to fries on the side. That was okay too, but nothing special. Trinity is most well known at UVA for being a bar, and I think it does that job the best. Lots of dancing and drinks. As for the food, it's nothing special and probably not a place I'd go to eat again.

We will never come back, because we were served a tiny portion of beer in a plastic Solo cup. Seriously? You call yourself an Irish pub?

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We had the BEST spinach artichoke dip ever! The dip came in a warm sourdough bread bowl. DELICIOUS!

I dunno about your food. But thank you for being more fun and less misogynistic than your counterparts on the Corner with the initials BH.

The reason for 4 stars is the food while good and unique missed the mark a bit. The fried elements seemed to either indicate the oil was a bit old or they overcooked a few of our items. The fried greenbeans while really good overall and a unique preparation. Had a subtle burnt flavor and same with the Catfish Poboy. The PoBoy was uniquely prepared too with green tomatoes that really worked well. But the condiment was thin, and the tomatoes could have been a bit thicker cut. So flavor was good, but could have been better. The fries that came with the sandwiches were good though. So TLDR, the breading on the catfish, and the fried green beans, was thick and looked slightly over cooked and tasted a tad burnt but at the same time the food itself seemed cooked properly. Not horrible and overall was very good. Just not 5 star. But much better than standard bar food fare. Standout though was the dessert (Hot Brownie with ice cream) it was absolutely amazing. I'll be back and hopefully can give them a 5 star later.

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

My husband is a die-had Arsenal fan and was overjoyed by the chaotic bar scene he encountered as soon as he entered. The City + Arsenal game had the entire bar packed with fans from both sides pulling up random seats wherever there was a free space. We came a bit late into the game but found a seat in a quieter area of the restaurant that still had good television access. With the dreary rain outside, it felt like we had settled right in a proper British pub! Food wise: - For my husband: Wings were generous, grilled, and delicious with interesting flavors - For me: Fish and chips were light, flakey, and came with some of the best house cut fries I've ever had. - For the kiddos: Although they had a kids menu, my daughters decided to split some pancakes (basically crepes with raspberries and cream sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Portions are more than generous and the managers were bustling around, talking shop, and thanking everyone who walked through their door. We will definitely be back!
