I have been a patient for over 2 years now. I am extremely happy with my medical professionals, hence, the 4 stars! The ugliest, nastiest, and worst i have been treated at this facility was Friday. I wrote my appointment time down as 11:30, it was 11:20 though. I arrived at 11:38, Rachelle one of the front desk receptionist, scoffed at me for being late. I accepted that i was in the wrong as i recorded the wrong time. She went to check to see if i could still be seen? No, i had to reschedule. I gave no problem and kindly rescheduled. That was done! My mother who is also a patient there has a prescription from a specialist that is requesting a CT scan. I was asked by the specialist to turn this paper into Trinity so that Trinity can get an insurance approval. Here is the "hold up ugly" I asked Rachelle to see that this paper gets to the referral office it is a test my mothers specialist is requesting to have done. (I am explaining as I am trying to hand the paper to her) Nope! Rachelle has a body language and facial ugliness that is like i am trying to hand her a covid filled bomb. I get the attitude filled response of I am not taking that paper when i don't know what it is. I respond with "i just told you...." i stop in mid repeating myself and step one step to the left and explain to Sarah who has ALWAYS been jovial and pleasant. I explained to Sarah that i do not like Rachelle's attitude and it is very hard to talk to her. I try to hand the same paper to Sarah, never ever having any problems with her. Sarah says "I don't know what you are trying to give me?" Now, i am thinking holy moses, does this paper have so contagious disease that I am not seeing? So Sarah is snotty and rude. (By the way, snotty is a very nasty description i understand but it is spot on in this case) So after a few silent moments and me starting to freak out about this paper and the invisible curse. Sarah explains that the order is in the computer and they recieved it on the 30th. So, no Trinity does not need the paper. So, I did the next best thing i knew to do with a contagious piece of paper, i ripped it up to throw away. It was then Sarah told me that i should have kept it. Oh well, bad moments not bad days. I have another appointment scheduled i will see if the front desk attitudes are better, hopefully so. Sarah has a beautiful smile and laugh not to use them. read more

The Doctors are good. The "office manager" or whoever she thinks she is can care less about you or your health. They denied a prescription I HAD to have refilled because they wanted an appointment. I was 100% out, she told me it was my fault and could not schedule me for 2 weeks and refused to do anything further. DO NOT USE THEM if you care about your health. She could careless about whether I lived or died as long as she followed HER procedures. Refused to let me talk and wanted to tell ME how things were going to work. I fired them and went to Watson Clinic and got my refill the same day. For some reason, some Office Managers think their policies and procedures trump the patients health. Referrals are usually messed up or not sent at all. There are no same day appointments , even though they have a poster in each exam room that says there is. read more

The staff are rude and tell you things that never are followed through with. They are incompetent at their jobs. They send referrals instead of authorizations, and lag on getting them. I have been waiting 37 days for one to go through for an Upper GI. My surgeon and the hospital have been calling and telling them this is not a situation you can take your time on. I haven't been able to eat solid foods since October. read more

My experience as a Medicare Advantage patient is the staff especially service provider are rude. I felt like the attitude was you're old get used to it. Very hard to get referrals on needed services. I went to a new service provider and they sent me for referrals as preventive on the first visit. Trinity Medical Group does not know how to care for and empathize with an aging population. read more

I had a preop appointment with Aliana Bormann. The same day as the appointment, I received a call from them and they wanted to move it back five hours, giving me less than two hours to be there. I had already made other plans and appointments for the day which I had to change due to this. It was a preop appointment with results needing to be to my surgeon's office in two days. They also informed me that I had to go to another location for the ekg as their a machine was broken. She told me that it was moved it back because she was not feeling well. When I met with her, I told her I was sorry that she was sick.But it really made a mess of my day because of having to move things so quickly. With that said, she replied with a snide remark saying that she could have stayed home for the day and I could have not met my appointment at all. She was very rude and short with no concern about my time. This was a pre op appointment, she simply asked three questions and listened to my breathing and dismissed me and sent me to their north lakeland location for the e k g which was another 2 hours of wait time. I have confidence in Dr. Parker and other nurses there but I would recommend to avoid Aliana Bormann whenever possible as she has zero concern for you as a patient. This was my 2nd visit with her and the 1st was equally as poor but I said nothing. This time I felt it necessary to express my concerns about her as an ARNP. read more

Switch doctors went to this one for the first time and I had a good feeling seemed to know stuff but then when I go back my second doctor's visit and needed some refills and some other stuff well at 4:00 appointment but they treated me like I was an alien a stranger somebody with disease or some s*** especially with a Greek lady in the office with a big nose she was very rude and disrespectful like I told her I did not know that I was supposed to do blood work nobody said nothing about it or I would have done it before my appointment but since I didn't do the blood work they treated me like I was a alien nation would not recommend doctors at all not the doctor's per say but how they procedures are when they don't tell you nothing and you come that back there and you're wondering what did I do The doctor that I seen black lady doctor McLean or something she was very helpful friendly she looked at you she didn't stay on her computer and knowledgeable but the way they do their procedures is like trying to get a alien out of a tiger's eye read more

After Dr. Harcourt left, l started seeing decline of this medical practice. I am not a fan of the Parker's lack of empathy and more. l am a medical professional for over 50 year. I will be seeking another practice and hope for the best. l do not support Trinity Medical Group at al. You certainly don't dismiss a patient to a psychiatrist who has strong personality and medical knowledge. Shame on you Karan Parker! If l have any type of withdrawal symptoms from klonopin, you will be found wanting. I would not have symptoms of withdrawing at 4-5 days. Read up on Klonopin. read more

Do not recommend as a primary care center. Staff is rude and inexperienced. Doctors do not listen to your concerns. I did not receive proper medical attention as my concerns were ignored. My new primary care doctor has helped me and now I see how bad Trinity was. Since Dr. Adam Parker left, the center has completely changed and not for the better. read more

Since they don't have a "minus" star I will give them one. Forget about making any appointments there since they are not kept BY THEM. I answered one of their ads for a Medicare Advantage Plan and I made an appointment for today, Saturday. They DID called yesterday to confirm it, and of course when we went there today THEY WERE CLOSED and no one there for the appointment. I hate to think what would happen if it had being an emergency. And is not even Sunday, if you had an emergency make sure it was during THEIR working hours. read more

First time patient experience was the absolute worst I've had in my entire life. If the care is a reflection of how the front desk treats patients that come in for the first time, stay away!! Just moved to Florida a few months ago and trying to find a primary care physician for myself has been hard with my insurance being from out of state. I waited a week for my appointment(not bad) which was scheduled at the 10:30, confirmed for 10:30. Aware of the fact I needed to get there early for new-patient paperwork, I was running behind and even though I was there by 10:25, I was told I couldn't be seen. I drove a half hour one-way for my appointment and had to wait for the train to pass, still to arrive 5 minutes earlier then my scheduled time, and turned away. The reason for my appointment was urgent and I pleaded with the woman at the front desk that i wasn't told if i didn't make it a half hour before my scheduled time that I wouldn't be seen. I've never written a review on anything in my entire life but the way that I was treated in the office was really disappointing and I hope that nobody else has the same experience i did. it was clear that someone had friday night plans more important to them then someone else's medical treatment! And upon reading other reviews I wish i came to yelp sooner instead of wasting my time here! read more

I have been a patient at Trinity for many years and never had a problem. Last year a new PA was hired and I was assigned to her. She prescribed a medication that Standard of Care requires careful monitoring. She failed to follow through and many months later when I went to the ER, the Cardiologist was shocked to find I had no evidence of the medication in my system and therefore had been at major risk of stroke for months. This is a very serious omission that could have been seriously injurious to me because the dosage prescribed was entirely inadequate and would have been detected with routine blood tests. My insurer has had contact with her recently asking that she respond and marking my case Expedited. She would not and has not responded. She then called and lied to me saying my insurance company denied my request for exemption of co-pay. 3 staff at my insurance company say this is patently untrue. The PA is rude, talks over me when I try to explain anything and is argumentative and combative. My insurer has filed a grievance with Medicare on my behalf. read more

Don't go here. Came in for a lab draw. Nurse did not clean the area with an alcohol pad or use gloves. The bruise on my arm is still here after the nurse thread the needle 8 times. I'm assuming she was joking when she said "that's going to be sore tomorrow." Waited in the lobby for my follow up apt 40 mins after arriving 10 mins early for a 9:30 apt. This place just wants your money. Don't go here. There are better doctors offices in Lakeland. They just want your money. read more

My last Nurse Practitioner at a Hospital I shall not name was awesome. Unfortunately, after we'd gotten attached to her, she left. I tried to be patient with her replacement until I received a 90 day script with instructions to take 2 times per day.. Hmm...so 90×2=180. I know they take math to become an NP, right? So I used reviews and found Nurse Practitioner Ms. Evellar McAllister @ Trinity Medical. Far too many doctors rush in, don't know who you are, check your heart, your breathing, ask you how you feel and them boom! They're gone- off like a rocket to do another 15 minute diagnoses on another patient he doesn't know and doesn't really care about as long as medicare keeps paying the bills. The marked contrast between those 15 minute what I call car wash doctors, and my new NP Ms. Evellar McAllister. Unlike those guys, she came prepared. She actually had my chart...the last guy didn't. She went over .y lab results and patiently answered my questions. The last guy didn't.She explained to me when she would see me next, that I would need to do labs so I knew what to expect on my next visit. Which the last guy didn't. Her bedside manner was attentive, warm, professional, and totally focused on me. I said something about my last Dr. and his 15- minute car-wash method of pacing his patients and she looked a little pained and assured me that I would never be treated like that by her. I give my NP Ms. McAllister 5 stars but there are a few things about the clinic that keep me from giving it a full 5 stars for the clinic overall. read more
