Add to the fact that this is a woman owned, minority owned business that has clientele of all kinds, and it is a winner for me! Michele Callender is a trained cosmetologist, and has an eye for detail and design. Looking around her shop, one will notice that she has style and definitely cares about what her customers experience. Her shop is very clean, and COVID-19 protocols are strictly adhered to. Michele is meticulous with everything she does, from the time you walk into her shop, until the time you leave. After checking in via the Vagaro app, I was greeted at the door by Michele and escorted to her intimate and modern salon. It is perfect for a one-on-one private session of pampering. After making sure that I washed my hands per COVID regulations, Michele created a nice foot bath, and got to work. I loved how gentle and soothing the entire experience was. Music played in the background, we chatted as if we had known each other for years, and all the while, she was give my feet the ultimate attention. The end result was baby soft skin and perfectly polished toes. I have already referred my mother, both my sisters, and two nieces. My mom and a sister have already been to her once and love her as well. I was her first appointment of the day, I should have paid more attention to the nail work, but I didn't and didn't until my nails were painted and all the flaws were easily seen , puts a customer an awkward position, i'm just surprised that she let me walk out the door with my nails looking the way they did. So I decided just to deal with it and not go back. my nails are really bubbly and one side and the other side of my nail bed is super think like paper but they are very and even some of my nails don't match they all are different sizes I went back today to get my nail fixed, and ask them to fix the nails that were noticeably uneven and unstable. I was told I had to come back and see the nail tech that did my nails, which I felt was very unfair because that would be three days that I had to cons sit and get my nails done. I then basically begged the nail tech to at least fix the one that was incredibly think one one side and thick on the other . Unfortunately I will not be going back but here are some photos of the work that I got it. UPDATE : I Woke up to three text messages from mike , he was very professional and his main goal was to resolve my issue. He did provide me with different options in order to resolve my issues and make sure I was satisfied with the end goal, I will say I am more then satisfied with the way they handled it and even tho I am uncomfortable with going back I'm going to because mike has made it more comfortable, I changed my star rating because of how professional and print this was taken care of *** 2nd update : MIKE was amazing and my nails look AMAZING.... I paid $60 for dip nail manicure (including tip) on Friday and it began chipping by Monday. This is dip nail polish and powder. I get three weeks without issue or any chipping when I go to my normal salon and even then, the only reason I'm getting a manicure after three weeks is because my nails have grown out. I have never had it only last three days. I will not be going back. Nice people and nice place, but they have people doing manicures in a rushed, untrained manner. I recommend going somewhere else if you don't want to pay $$ only to have your polish to chip in three days. I could have made regular polish last longer by myself at home. Ridiculous.
