    Iced coffee
    Hannah S.

AMAZING. On vacation from the states. This place is right in front of the beach but surprisingly not slammed at the time we went so we got a patio seat! I got the boss eggs on gluten free toast which was so bomb and an iced coffee. I would live here if I lived in Bondi.

Ambiance: small restaurant with a good view of bondi beach. Can be loud if busy and seats are semi close together. Professionalism and service: excellent, never need to track anyone down. Always checked up on. Taste: excellent, the pancakes were the highlight. Very soft and fluffy with great flavors available to accompany them without the need for maple syrup. Notes: weekend surcharge of 10%

My sister and I visited bondi beach and came to this restaurant for brunch on a super sunny day. Waiting for a table was about 15 mins. The service was quite good. The servers were nice and friendly. They used a tablet to place orders for customers. Very high tech! We ordered a cup of iced mocha. It tasted extraordinarily delicious! We were addicted to it. We also ordered a dish of egg Benedict on sourdough with BBQ pulled pork and a dish of Nutella French toasts. They tasted excellent as well!! Overall, the experience was great at this restaurant. The only down side about this restaurant was the flies that were flying around us and our dishes of food. The windows and doors were open all the time, so the flies could fly into the restaurant easily. However, the food was very delicious. Highly recommended! :)

Iced hot chocolate, flat white, turmeric latte - all delicious!

Delicious brunch, friendly service, and beach view - what more can you ask for? I'm one of those people who shamefully likes to try a bite of everyone else's dish at the table... At Trio, there is a BREAKFAST TASTING PLATE, which was perfect for me! It had a little bit of everything in mini-size: corn fritter with chutney and a bacon slice, shakshuka (red or green), hummus with bread (ask if you can choose from their wide selection), pancake, french toast with berry compote, and muesli overnight oats. Delicious, insta-worthy, and shareable portion!! My husband loved his Mediterranean breakfast (with grilled haloumi cheese and poached eggs in truffle oil!). My sister loved her Boss Eggs (also in truffle oil). Drinks were also well-made - recommend trying their flat white, iced hot chocolate, and hot turmeric latte. Don't worry, you can burn off all the calories afterward by doing the nearby Coogee coastal walk.

We came on NYE for lunch and the place was quite packed. Our group of 4 only had to wait about 20 minutes before being seated. I ordered the red shakshouka although in hindsight I really should have ordered the green shakshouka. The red shakshouka tasted like tomato sauce mixed with eggs and not much more since it didn't have any spices. My girlfriend ordered the mango lime buttermilk pancakes that I thought were delicious. The pancakes didn't really taste like pancakes and had a more banana bread texture to it. The food here was quite expensive although comparable in price to Sydney.

Trio is a a great place to grab breakfast or brunch in Bondi. Just a short walk from our rental house, we had a lovely brunch here on our second day in Sydney. There's an extensive menun with tons go great coffee, tea, and food options. I had the Boss Eggs: scrambled eggs, prosciutto, avocado, and toast. It was a generous portion and very tasty. Prices are a tad high but normal for Bondi & Sydney. Service was polite and efficient. The Long Black was good even if on the strong side. Be sure to grab a table in the sun on the patio for some fantastic people watching with gorgeous Bondi Beach as your backdrop.

We came here for brunch after taking a dip at Bondi Beach. This restaurant is located right across from Bondi Beach on Campbell Parade. There was a 20 minute wait for a table when we got there but the hostess was super sweet and gave us waters since it was so hot out. We got lucky and got a table overlooking the walkway so we could people watch. We ordered the shakshouka ($23) and the chilaquiles ($24). Both were super tasty. I had never had shakshouka; I can't really describe what it tastes like other than tell you that it is delicious! Here is how Trio describes the dish - two eggs poached in a smoky ragout of tomato, red peppers & chilli served in a pan with turkish bread & hummus. You can also buy a bottle of the sauce for $10 or $12 I believe. My mate ordered a drink that was by far one of the tastiest drinks I have ever had. I can't remember the name but it was a mocha coconut blended drink (I believe it was $8). Our server was pretty attentive and the food came out quickly. Overall I would recommend stopping in for brunch if you are in Bondi Beach.

Breakfast burrito. Chorizo chilli + all the things!

List of things I don't often do: Give a shit Sneeze with dignity Cook Exercise Give 5 Stars on Yelp. Today, I did one of the above. And just to recap: I did sneeze three times on the train this morning with the fervour of a field mouse (absolutely no dignity), still don't give a shit about most things. I cant remember the last time I even saw if my oven turned on, never mind actually cooked. Exercise? Unless you count me exercising my right to eat what I want.....nope. So that leaves us with one: 5 Stars on Yelp. And I am giving it to you Trio. Yes, you. :::The crowd goes wild::: I had breakfast at Trio on Saturday morning. Now, I have eaten here at least 10 times and have been too transfixed by their 'Boss Eggs' to even try anything else. Yes, Boss. (truffle oil and scrambled eggs - doesn't really need explanation...) But, alas, this Saturday was different. I decided to have the 'Breakfast Burrito' Now, this was no ordinary breakfast burrito. No, this was a deconstructed, 2 fry pan platter of greatness. Chorizo chilli, fluffy scrambled eggs, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, all to go into 3 awaiting flour tortillas. I mean, come on! (I took a picture of this bad boy - just look in the gallery and you'll see what I mean). I was full after one packed fluffy flour tortilla, however, constructed two more because well, because I am a baddass. I could not move for 4 hours, but I will never take back those three tortillas of delight. Ole, my friend Ole.

After a couple weeks back home in the states, it was time to go back to Australia. As soon as we landed we were kidnapped to Bondi Beach, since we "Just have to see it!" Meh. The beach was a beach and pretty nice, but I needed sleep and fuel. We headed over to the nearest café and the tuna nicoise salad sounded perfect; http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trio-cafe-bondi-beach?select=9NWngr6lNK6GrqhUyUTSqw#Zwiw9-Eg2LIfus1gjQ2yDw The tuna was just ever so slightly seared and left the majority of the fish a perfect near-raw temp. The avocado was nice and my only complaint would be that I wish the eggs were soft boiled for a my runny yolk. Cute spot for a quick snack and our server was very nice.

    The awesome Breakfast Tasting Plate
    Eliza B.

The Trio breakfast tasting plate ($30) may be the best breakfast I have ever eaten. And let's face it, it seems only fair that Trio gives us this option with their Sophie's-Choice-style brunch menu that has you choosing between options like cinnamon & vanilla french toast, mango & lime pancakes, corn fritters and goat cheese, "breakfast sundae" muesli, and their fantastic egg dishes. That's where the 3 plates of amazingness that are the Trio breakfast sampler come in. Every bite was awesome and I will definitely be all "not without my cornfritters/pancakes/muesli/french toast/eggs" next time too. Nice to see all the free-range ingredients as well. Add to this that you will be filling your maw with this achingly delicious food from a comfy seat, with a stunning view of Bondi Beach, and with the possibility of an *iced coconut mocha* - and Trio should be at the top of your brunching list.

I had the smoked salmon bruschetta and latte for breakfast. 10/10 would recommend. Great start to the day! My boyfriend had the iced coffee, which was blended with ice cream. He said the Nutella French toast was amazing as well. Stellar experience!

    Mango & Lime Buttermilk Pancakes
    Mende R.

Trio is a cute European style cafe facing the beach and has the best breakfast/brunch in Bondi hands down. I've eaten here many times over the last 3 years, and I've never had a bad meal. Some of my favorites are the Mango & Lime Buttermilk Pancakes, Mediterranean Breakfast and Shakshouka (there is a red one AND a green one from which to choose). They are a tiny bit more expensive than the other beachfront cafés, but the difference in quality more than makes up for it. The coffee is also amazing. Try their Mocha, which is made with real chocolate (no yucky syrup!). The view can't be beat, the wait staff are insanely friendly and they play good music. Be sure to make a reservation though if you're trying to get in on the weekends. It's always busy, and rightfully so!

    Breakfast Special with Salmon added

What a wonderful place to come for brunch with a beautiful view of Bondi Beach. I loved it here so much I went 2 mornings in a row. On the first, I ordered both the red and green shakshouka which includes 2 pans (one for each sauce) with an egg in each. The red one is a smoky red tomato ragout and the green uses green tomatoes, green capsicum, spinach and chilli. Both come with Turkish bread and hummus. The red was great, but for me, the green blew the red one out of the pan! It had such a great depth of flavor and I would easily get only that one in the future. The hummus was fantastic and the Turkish bread was delicious too. I'm usually a bit of a snob about bread in the sense that unless it's great, I won't waste the precious room in my stomach. There wasn't a crumb left behind. On my second visit I went with a group of new friends. There were about 6 of us and the service was excellent. This time, I went with their breakfast special which included two poached eggs, toast (I asked for the Turkish bread), mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, bacon, and I added some smoked salmon. It also comes with coffee included which is great and I chose their espresso which I enjoyed on my previous visit. The inside atmosphere is clean bright and comfortable and they have genuinely friendly service. You can tell they use quality ingredients and a lot of care is put into what they offer. Big fan of this place and I can't wait to return on a future return to Bondi Beach!
