    Mediterranean Pizza

Huge selection of vegan and vegetarian options. There is a meatless Monday where all vegan and vegetarian items are 20% off. Primoz has been around along time, this is their new location across from Azteca. Ordered two medium pizzas, both vegetarian. University Circle was good with fresh garlic, I was worried because I'm not a huge green pepper fan, yet they were not over the top like other places that pile them on. The Mediterranean was light even with the white sauce. No dine in option here, just pick up. You can order online or call in.

So, I decided to order pizza one night but wasn't exactly sure where to order it from. After searching google I was lead to Primoz - a local chain with several locations scattered throughout the Cleveland area. I called in and ordered two pies: pepperoni and sausage and a veggie. When I went to pick them up they were ready and I couldn't wait to try them when I got home. As I had a few friends over, I only hsd three slices (two veggie and one pepperoni and sausage with meat removed). There wasn't a single person disappointed with either pizza. The crust was baked just right and wasn't greasy. The cheese and toppings were not excessive, and the sauce was seasoned well. If you're looking for a local alternative to the big box pizza shops, I would highly recommend Primoz!

We have recovered from that nightmare and bravely tried it again #1- The restaurant was clean and smelled good from the moment we arrived #2- the decor was your typical seafood restaurant decor. It was cute but not overdone. You definitely knew you were in a fish restaurant. #3- Service- we did not wait long for our server Alicia to come to the table. She was actually a lot of help. We were going to order sandwiches, but they do not come with any sides like french fries. And believe it or not a side of french fries is around 8 dollars! Crazy I know. So she showed us where we could get a dinner with fish and two sides, which would've been cheaper than ordering à la cart. And the bread this time was actually very good. So if we wanted to, we could make our own sandwich. She was not just informative and friendly, but she did not hover over us but checked back once in a while to make sure that we had our drinks filled up. She did really good job. #4- we tried the Walleye and the Perch. These are supposed to be their specialties. They were good - but a bit bland. They lacked seasoning but they seemed fresh and cooked well. The food came out hot which is always a plus. #5- I liked the coleslaw #6- They have an outdoor pavilion for eating in the sunshine #7- They have live music- we will have to check that out!! So all in all they redeemed themselves from the previous visit! If they added Hushpuppies to their menu that would be great!!

2/5 -- Food okay, pricing and service miss -- Brennan's Fish House…read more Came in last Wednesday for lunch after a day out on the boat. One in our group ordered a seafood bowl. Another got a generous bowl of chili, cooked to perfection. Pricing was way out of line with the quality. You had to pay extra for onions and cheese on top of the chili. You even paid extra for allergy substitutions. Nickel-and-dimed for basics at lake-house prices. The issues started early. One of our group has severe allergies. Soon after she started her soup, she had an allergic reaction. To avoid embarrassment, I quietly got up to find our server. I let her know our friend was very ill and we needed to leave for the boat immediately. She didn't notify a manager or come to the table. She actually took another table's order right in front of us while our friend sat there in pain trying not to cause a scene. Separately, I told our server at the start that I wanted to buy the Captain his Key Lime pie -- his favorite -- and have it served right after his meal. That didn't happen. We were left waiting at the table for the Captain's dessert while the rest of us had already checked out and were ready to head back to the boat. When I asked about it, the server barked at me defending why it took her so long, even though I told her when she took my order to have it ready and served when the Captain finished his lunch. When I was checking out with the Captain, the manager -- I believe her name was Alesia -- knew right away we were upset and offered to help. I told her I'd prefer to write a Yelp review. She offered her name and number to talk further. I don't want her thinking we're fishing for a gift card -- this isn't the first time we've been disappointed with service or food quality. On another visit they overcharged us for a slice of Key Lime pie that tasted worse than Aldi's. Aldi's was better. At a lake/boathouse spot, Key Lime pie should be a standout, not an afterthought. Bread basket was one of the highlights. Not many other food complaints from the group because we know the menu and what to order vs. avoid. Biggest issue: how the allergy situation was handled, charging extra for allergy substitutions, and staff attitude. When a guest is in distress, that has to come before taking new orders.

Decorated for Valentines Day. Ceiling tiles are coffee cups. Cute. Staff super friendly. At least 3 people greeted us. And servers all talked to us at the counter. We ordered. I got a bowl of soup and side salad. Soup was a hm cream of broccoli. Side salad was good size. But only had tomato and cheese on it with iceberg lettuce. Could have used a cucumber or olive or something. It was fine. But very basic. Soup was hot. A pet peeve that was not peeved. LOL! My partner got a BLT on rye with fair fries. Good as well. Lots of bacon. Overall, good experience! Everyone seems to enjoy their meals. Prices are very good. Don't miss the specials on the board in front. Those aren't on the menu so they are specials. I'd go back in a minute.

Well we drove out to River St. in Grand River in NE Ohio. On a heavily commercial road in an older neighborhood there it was, "Sammy's Family Restaurant". An older building with parking on both sides and around the back. So we parked and went inside. At the front door we were greeted by a sign that said, "Seat yourself at a clean table". As we wandered over to a nice location we noticed small, laminate cards on the tables that read "CLEAN". So we sat, and when the waitress came over she picked up our sign... quaint and efficient. We wandered through an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. It had everything you could possibly want. Really, the choices were 5 pages long. So I ordered a kosher dog with kraut and fresh cut fries. My wife had a cheeseburger with fries as well. Both were large, perfectly prepared and the fries were amazing. It was almost more than we could eat. But, we had to try the rice pudding I saw on the menu. We ordered coffee and a rice pudding to share. The pudding was awesome! It was clearly home made. So, as we were preparing to crawl out of the place because we were so full. The waitress brought us the check. I think my eyes almost popped out of my head. It had a grand total of only $25.00. I looked at it twice and showed my wife. We couldn't believe that excellent experience only cost us $25.00. I told the cashier what a wonderful surprise her place was and we would definitely be back. You should definitely go too.

This weekend, I visited him and when he asked where I wanted to eat, I said, "DUH Scooters!" I love hot dogs! We weren't the only ones with that idea, and we had to circle the parking lot several times before finally finding a place to park. After that, we joined a line that stretched out the door. Once it was our turn, we both ordered the 'long' chili dog and got a 'tiny' fry and a banana shake to share. We were lucky enough to find a place to sit at the counter. While we waited I enjoyed the whimsical wall murals and people watching. Once we received our food, I happily dug in. The chili on the hot dog was unique, with corn mixed in. We were warned it would be spicy, but as Texans, we didn't find it spicy at all--though we did think it was quite tasty. The "tiny" order of fries was delicious and definitely not small in our eyes, though after seeing the massive portions others received, I suppose it was. We kept eating and eating them and still couldn't finish them. The banana shake was the perfect ending to our meal. I hope I get to eat at Scooters again. There are other hot dogs I would like to try.
