I've come to this salon three times and each visit has been an issue. My bangs were cut unevenly, the first color appointment wasted three hours and left my roots orange, and even after the "fix," my hair is still too dark with orange highlights and nothing like the inspo. Booked here online for a set price, then once the haircut was half over, was told it would be a different price. Said okay, because I'm not going to argue mid cut. Stylist was nice and cut was good. I have strait hair on the finer side, and I just get about an inch taken off the bottom. So so basic. So I was sort of confused why they would ask a higher price, being that I have the simplest possible cut. But I liked the cut, so all was well. Just went to book again online and price range was $58-$98. When I went to check out, the price was $78, PLUS an $8 "Team Wellness Fee." ??? So $84, + Tax, + Tip. So, around $110 for an inch off the bottom. Yikes!!!! read more

Got my hair lightened, they completely missed the section close to my scalp in the front framing my face- like the most obvious spot that needed to be done. Tried to call for weeks and got voicemails, no answers and promises that various people would call back. They never did. When I finally got a hold of someone, after 3 weeks and barrage of calls to them they said it was my fault for waiting so long and they wouldn't do anything. Never again. read more

I have been to Trios many times in the past 10 years to have my eyebrows tinted and waxed. I have always been pleased until today. I am horrified by the results. I directed the stylist to leave my brows thick and natural. She left only slivers of my brows. The tint was on my cheek and completely around the brow area- my brows looked like big blobs. The wax lines were very uneven and not symmetrical. My eyes are still red and swollen 8 hours later. The salon offered to fix it if I came back in; there is nothing to fix since the hair is mostly gone! They did refund the cost of service but not the tax or tip. Booked an appointment today for a cut and color. Got there. The staff at the desk were amazing, but the stylist was not one I would ever book with again. She was very rude and talked down to me. She had peanut butter on her hands and didn't realize until she was brushing my hair and putting her hands through my hair. I was quoted 280 from the person I talked to on the phone. I understand that there is some differences but this stylist quoted me over 400. I made the decision not to get my hair done today..very disappointing as I have always had wonderful experiences at Trios Salon. read more

I've been coming to this salon since 2018 and I've never had a bad experience. Emily, Ashley, Mac, and Virginia have done my hair; all amazing!! Very professional and well trained. I always leave the salon with amazing hair thanks to CJ. We recently did some peekaboo hair and she was able to lift my hair from very dark brown to a blonde beautifully. Not sure how she does it but even after a week of working and putting it up, it still has pretty curls! So, unfortunately, my hair continues to break off, even after I cut it extremely short. It just seems like the colorist burned my hair all the way down to the root. The sides of my face have fuzzy, discolored, oddly wavy hair that sticks straight out and won't lay down, even after using a ton of product. The grey hair is the worst because it has a different texture than the rest of the hair, and it separates out. It kind of reminds me of the Bride of Frankenstein. I use a deep conditioner (Olaplex) twice a week, and it has not made a difference. The color is ghastly. The only thing I can do is wear an extremely wide headband to try to move the hair out of view. What else can I do, though?! I can't part my hair down the middle like a child. I'm 50 years old. I'm so scared that my hair is never going to grow back the way it was before. I don't want to have short hair. I've never had great self-esteem but let me tell you, I am terrified to go out in public now. I look like a cancer patient. Honestly, this whole experience has ruined my life, and will continue to do so for many years to come. read more

She is so sweet and really took the time to really understand my vision on how I wanted my haircut to look like, answered any questions I had and really took her time. The shampoo/conditioning and massage was fabulous! I loved how the final look came out and something that I will be able to maintain and style at home. Got hair extensions put in and they started falling out within a week. Not my first time having hair extensions. I called to inform them what was going on and they were so careless. To top it off I flew there and stayed in a hotel to get my hair done by them. When I noticed they were falling out I made an appointment with a master stylist at a different salon and they told me that the hair was installed incorrectly. The extensions were literally attached to like four strands of hair. I lost a lot of my real hair because someone made a mistake. The manager at trios. Who is not a licensed cosmetologist refused a refund for the installation. By fair the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This place is trash! read more

I definitely agree with the other views/customer. My hair completely fried and I've been a trading it for over four months I did it with them in March I believe. And it was destroyed my hair still falling my hair is completely damaged and I had to cut it very short. I will never go back. They did offer me free was and free one shampoo bottle. This was my first time at Trios Salon and I saw Sydnee. She did an ash blonde tone in my hair. My hair is very dark brown, almost black and she got such a good color to come thru for the first time getting it highlighted. She was easy to talk to and she understood that I was very indecisive on what color I wanted. She helped me choose and ultimately I told her that I trust her to pick and that it would look good. I really enjoy getting my hair done at Trios. The first thing I always notice is how clean it is. No one leaves things sitting around, there is always someone sweeping. It's bright and modern inside. Everyone is friendly and they have clients very spaced out. Masks must be worn and you are to leave your coat in the car and call when you arrive. I asked for a 1 to 1.5 inch trim. Please never go to this salon, but if you do, definitely DO NOT get a cut from an apprentice. I was going on vacation in a week and needed somewhere to just trim up my hair after 5pm quickly, and I figured there was literally no way to mess up a small trim, so I selected an apprentice for $36 to save money. I truly don't know how this happened, we sat down, I showed her exactly where to cut my hair, she said okay so by your breast is the length you want? I said yes, she shampooed it. I got back to the chair and was chatting when I caught a glimpse of the length she cut to in the back of my head. She just CHOPPED 4 inches off and I was immediately at a loss for words but there was nothing I could do. I genuinely think she did what SHE thought would look better than what I asked for, because she kept saying my hair was lighter on the ends and she was just going to get rid of the "dead stuff." Regardless, I asked for just one length, a blunt cut trim all around, no layers. How someone could mess that up is so far beyond me, I could have trimmed my hair with kitchen scissors better than this. Anyways, I used to have shorter, face framing pieces and I am left with longer pieces in the front and shorter hair in the back SOMEHOW. Anyone with long hair knows how long it takes to grow out, and I've been crying every time I see my hair in the mirror. I told her my birthday was next month too and she said I won't even be able to notice how short it is after 2 weeks. I have no clue what she was on, but this will take nearly a year for me to "not notice." As for payment, the girl knew she messed up and before I even got out of the chair she said I could give the salon a call the next day if I had concerns. I called and they asked zero questions and refunded my money immediately, so I am thankful for that. I'm sorry but please do not get your hair cut by Daniele, she was a nice person but clearly should not go near a client ever again. Today was my first time in this salon (found here on yelp). I had this new hairstyle in mind and was able to get an appointment same day with Kiersey. I showed her 3 photos for inspo and then let her do her thing. Let me just tell you, SHE ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT! I am totally in LOVE with my cut. The length and layers are perfect and my hair feels the healthiest (and lightest) it's been in years! I was apprehensive letting a stranger touch my hair especially with covid, but I'm so glad I did! Everyone was in masks and spaced 6+ feet apart. The interior is beautiful and clean. The wash & scalp massage was glorious. Kiersey is the sweetest and gave so many great recommendations (we talked about everything from tattoos & wedding planning to podcasts and pups)! Emilie spent the time to understand my hair issues and also took her time cutting my hair. It was great to have someone really listen and then continue to perfect the cut based on my glasses being put on and the way I tend to run my hands through it (if that makes sense). I can't express how satisfied I am with Trios Salon and Jess Mosby. I was extremely nervous moving to Omaha and finding a good salon and stylist. My first visit to Trios, I was very pleased. When you enter the salon you're immediately comfortable. The salon is clean, professional and inviting. The front desk staff greets you kindly, checks you in, and offers you something to drink (Chai Tea, Green Tea, Water) Jess Mosby my stylist, greeted me excitedly and took me back to her station. The chairs are very comfortable and you have plenty of space. She sat and took the time listening to what I was looking for. I expressed my dismay over a base bump that left me brassy and too blonde a few months prior. She suggested deepening my base and painting some blonde to add dimension back to my hair. It looked amazing. I was so happy. She also understood me when I asked for very little length to be removed in my cut. She finished and my hair looked great and my cut was perfect. I scheduled my next appointment because I liked my hair so much. My second visit was even better. Exceptional service when I got there for my appointment. Jess Mosby was ready and excited to do my hair. She looked at photos I had saved, discussed with me my goals for the color and cut and got to work. She took her time and hand painting multiple blonde sections and foiled in some low lights in places needing dimension. She gave me water and kept me comfortable while my hair set. She has the best scalp massage at the bowl too. THE COLOR IS OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD. Better than I asked, better than the photos I brought in, better than I could have imagined. When she cut my hair she added the softest layers and gave my hair body and life back to it. I am so happy I found Jess and Trios. Go! Schedule your appointment. You will be so happy you did. I absolutely love Trios and Kiersey! I will happily drive almost half an hour from downtown Omaha to come see her. I've had Kiersey color my hair and cut it and she's amazing at both. The pricing is totally worth what you get - Kiersey is a professional and everything from the shampoo, the head massage, and the advice she gives you is 10/10. She's also so comforting and not judgy at all which I love. Like I know I don't take the best care of my hair and I need a low maintenance routine and she offers great advice, assurance, and works with you. If I could give trios more stars I would! read more

I know there are people on here that complain about website pricing vs what it actually is when you get there but let's be real. How can the website know how thick your hair is, the length , and how much color this business will need to use to achieve the style and color you want? It can't. You also need to be realistic about possibly having go back a few times to achieve your final look. They really care about keeping your hair healthy and not over processing. In my first experience here I came to see Joy who gave me a brand new cut after my wedding. I went from super long to shoulder length with bangs and I loved it. On my second visit 6 months later (I waited so my hair could grow out again) Joy wasn't available so I booked with Betsy. I was quoted $180 ish online but ended up paying $100 more than that. Why you might ask? Because I went from dark brown to a warm red with blonde. I also had to have my roots touched up so there was another fee for the extra color. If you don't think that's fair pricing take yourself elsewhere. Betsy did a beautiful job and I can't wait for my next appointment so she can finish adding more dimension to my hair. She also educated me on how to maintain keeping my blonde parts healthy. I really appreciated this because I haven't had blonde in my hair in over 10 years. Agree with other reviewers that the prices are sneaky. They appear to be very upfront with their website pricing, giving 6 levels of stylists and various color and cut packages with each level. Website indicated that the highest level color was $126 with a level 6 stylist. I did not have a level 6 stylist and was told a basic balayage hair color was over $180, no cut or style included and shoulder length hair. Clearly they've had surprised customers in the past as the quote was given before starting the color. My honest opinion is they are incredibly nice, each person I chatted with was genuinely kind, and I've seen their work product on friends which looks good. However, the website I found to be very misleading and I never would have booked and appointment if the website honestly indicated I would be paying that much for a color. read more

I had to find a new salon because my former hairstylist moved out of the state. I've been to Trios a few times and love the vibe of the salon and the very friendly atmosphere! Very high vibe and professional salon. My hair is fine and wavy. I've had my haircut by 2 different stylists who are well versed in how to cut fine, wavy hair. They listen to what you have to say and give their educated advice and explain how your hair needs to be cut based on the texture and length, etc.. I highly recommend this salon! read more

I could not be happier with my experience here today! I got a cut and deep conditioning treatment from Chelsea. The entire appointment was so relaxing. Everyone on staff was so welcoming and put me at ease. When I sat in Chelsea's chair, she took several minutes to ask me about my hair goals, all while touching my hair and examining its condition as I talked. She asked all the right questions! She took her time with me and I really appreciate that. The Renaissance hair mask she applied was absolutely amazing and left my hair feeling much healthier and soft! I went to this salon to get a haircut after researching some of the best salons in my area. I decided to give Trios a try after reading the reviews online; however, things DID NOT go well. During my cut and style, my stylist made multiple comments about how they made a cut too short. I didn't think much of it until after the entire cut was done, and I saw the end product. I had MORE than enough hair to work with, but they ended up cutting about 3 inches more off the length than I intended. The cut was unblended and uneven. The stylist took entirely too long and ended up being late for multiple other clients. This was probably due to the fact that they just kept cutting my hair shorter and shorter over an hour long appointment. I have been trying to figure out how to salvage the cut and style it in a way that I can live with for 2 days now. read more
