Ok guys so my last review was just about me buying products from this wonderful salon and the amazing girls that work there, but today I finally went in for my first hair cut. My life is changed forever! I always made the mistake of going to places like great clips because it was cheap, and I always left disappointed. I had Laura today and I will keep going back to her. She was extremely friendly and could keep a conversation going. She understood what I wanted and did not want and she delivered! My hair looks and feels amazing! I'm so happy I discovered Trios! The scared feeling I would get going in to get my hair cut will now be gone. Right when I walked in for my appointment I was offered tea or coffee or water, I thought that was pretty awesome. Then I had my hair washed with an amazing shampoo and conditioner called frizz dismiss by redken that I highly recommend and I use it at home. (it will change your life I promise you!) I had a relaxing scalp massage and even chatted to the woman next to me getting her hair washed and her stylist, it felt like a little family. So comfortable and welcoming here everyone is lovely! She took her time with my hair which I appreciate! At other places they rush through just to get you out of there, Laura was very good at listening to any of my questions and helping me make decisions on things I wasn't quite sure of. I will be recommending her to everyone! This place is amazing. From the receptionists to the hair stylist, to the clients there. I had my first hair appointment there with them Jan. 31, 2014. I'm a bit leery sometimes going to a new stylist as I typically have close friends work on my hair. (Moved to Omaha about 3 years now). I have to say Lindsey (level 3 stylist) was awesome. I have very dark hair and I decided to do some ombré highlights and was very fearful as highlights can leave me looking like a skunk if not done right. She did an amazing job, it looked very natural plus she was super nice. And they do offer first time discounts for those coming in which is nice. Friendly staff and a really nice place with reasonable prices. Check out their website for some sweet specials going on (currently $25 off any service or cut and color for $50!). They also give referral discounts for sending in new clients which I love (it's like being rewarded to tell people about my amazing new stylist, which I would've done anyway). I haven't seen the second location yet, but I'm sure it will be equally as nice as the first place, if not more so. I am a travel nurse so one of the things I have to overcome in each state I go to is trying to find a salon that I will hopefully really like. Trios is the absolute best place I have experienced yet. This place is clean, unique and the staff is friendly the minute you walk through the door. I got offered a beverage at least 3 times while I waited 5 minutes on my stylist since I was a little early ;). My stylist's name was Laura and she was wonderful!! I had sort of an idea of what I wanted done to my hair and told her i wanted my hair darker for the fall but not too dark where I look harsh; she came up with an idea and I trusted her to go ahead and do it and well I absolutely love my hair! She did such a great job!! Not to mention she was so easy to talk to. I recommend this place and if you do go, ask for Laura! read more

This was the first time I've been to this salon. I had Kayla. I showed her a few photos of the hair style I was going for. She washed my hair and then Went to cutting it. I think she took 20 minutes to cut it. She didn't show me the back at all.. I felt like everything was rushed and we didn't have much to talk about... I went to Trios to try a new hair salon. I like to experiment with my hair and do new things and I got bored at my last salon. I went to Laura and she was amazing! Not only was she super friendly she knew her stuff and what hair color we could try on my hair! I live in Papillion so it was a drive but I am going to commit to the drive to go to her again! To be forewarned: I am not picky what so ever when it comes to my hair and I like to do new things. We did "kind of" an ombre feel (which I wasn't excited about at first but thought hey wth I will try it) and I love it! The color and cut she gave me is awesome! I don't necessary like to decide what color to put on my hair (yes I know hair dressers worst nightmare) but she told me what she had in mind and what color to put on top and underneath. I absolutely love my hair color and I will go to her again for sure! About the salon - they are moving so I can't really review it at this time. The only thing I didn't like was they put me in a processing area to let the color sit and that was super uncomfortable. Laura did have another color appointment while I was in the processing area which made me feel like I wasn't that important (stupid yes I know). That is really my only complaint was that I had to sit and move my belongings to the processing area which their chairs were uncomfortable. But like I said I will update my review when they move! Came to Omaha to visit my son. My hair needed some sprucing and had time. I was able to get in at a perfect time on a busy Saturday morning with Savannah. We consulted on what I was looking for and gave me the price asking if it was ok. It was more than I usually pay but wasn't surprised because of the service! It is true you get what you pay for. I had my hair done for a wedding here in April. I am not one to post bad reviews ever, but this was incredibly frustrating. I brought in a photo of a simple Dutch crown braid, and it took three different girls before someone finally knew how to braid. I was mind blown. I could have offered to do it myself. I ended up having to stay 30 minutes longer than the rest of the bridal party and ended up with so many bobby pins in my hair that I could barely move my head. The end result looked nothing like the photo I brought. I took it all out and redid it in about 1/4 of the time. I just think this scenario could have been avoided by a salon like Trios. read more

The salon is clean, the receptionist is friendly, ready to take your coat and offer you a beverage. Catrina is my stylist. She is amazing! She listens to my suggestions and offers her input as to whether what I'm requesting will work or not. She always gives me a great cut, even when I'm not sure of what I want. Their prices are sneaky, service is horrible & quality of style is not worth it. Don't be fooled- their website states prices for color but that is just for a root touch-up, then they charge by the ounce for any amount of color needed for more than just your roots. Also, if THEY need to use toner to make it the color YOU want, they charge an additional $25 for each layer of toner used. I went there wanting a new hair style & color- my girl was not creative at all, after 2 trips (second one was to fix the crap color job) & $300 later, I look exactly like I did when I first went in. If you want good quality & service, take a left instead of a right & go to Chroma Salon. read more

I have gone to Trios Salon a few times and normally leave decently pleased with my haircut or color. However, this last time I went and showed the hairstylist a picture of what I wanted, knowing that it wouldn't look exact, but the cut I got did not even remotely have the same style as the picture. The fade in the back was very uneven and there was even a chunk taken out higher than the fade line. I left in shock. I initially thought maybe it was just how she styled it. I went home and rinsed out the product and tried styling it myself. I burst into tears because I absolutely hated the cut. My hair was butchered. I had to go to a second salon to have them fix it, which in order to fix the haircut, they had to cut my hair super short, to the point where I look like a boy. Never in my life have I ever cried over a haircut. I was severely disappointed with the cut, and the appointment in general felt rushed. I feel like in the past year the salon has gone down hill. read more

I've been a customer for several years. Years. Routinely (as in every 4-5 weeks) paying $100 - $250 plus tips. I lost my wallet including cards and id the other day right before I was scheduled for a cut and color and called to see if I could get it done and come back to pay. Nope, I would have to reschedule. Earliest appointment 2 weeks out. This doesn't work for me as I'm headed to NYC the weekend after. Could I put it on my "work only" credit card but transfer it to my other card when I get a new one? Nope. Really? I've been loyal to you for years and you can't work with me even a little bit? I get that you're running a business but my assumption would be that after a decently long history with me as a customer you could work with me. Apparently not. Oh, and this is after multiple times of messing up my appointments and making me reschedule, but not having openings for a week or two after I was supposedly scheduled. No thanks. There are better salons out there that aren't so noisy, mundane, and that maybe quite possibly give a sh*t about their customers. read more

I can't thank the Trios Salon Team enough for all they did for me! Since I was from out of town visiting for the weekend, I was so grateful they were able to schedule me last minute since I was unable to schedule an appointment before I left. When you walk in, your concerns are immediately put to rest with such a clean, bright,professional, and inviting atmosphere! The staff is so knowledgeable, and listened to what I have been doing with my hair and what I was trying to achieve. I LOVED the scalp massage! (my stylist back home totally needs to learn this) They made me feel and look fantastic! Plus, their knowledge and product suggestions for aftercare extended my color even longer. I absolutely love most of the stylists here. However, the management is very unprofessional. They do not abide by most of the la or laws and are not very accommodating u less they know you personally. It was a very upsetting experience learning how they price things. This place is a rip off. I cant say that I am very pleased with this experience. I went for a color yesterday. And After I went back I was so upset with this color. It was so red!! And not the colour that I bargain for. Because I have a very dark hair colour, they said that they cant guarantee that they can lifted to the grey colors I wanted. KAYLA did my hair color, and because it lifted quite well, she pointed her hair color said that this is what I can get. A grey platinum color. But they however did not give me the color anyway. ANd afterwards simply try to persuade me that this is okay. Kayla is a new talent stylist, and charged me 76 for a men's color. MEN, check this place out for your wife! I was currently in Afghanistan and my Anniversary came up. I found this place due to yelp and contacted them. Not only did they give me one great package deal I couldn't pass up, but they also did research on flowers, went to a local flower shop, picked up a dozen of roses with vase and delivered it to her work!! How many places do that these days? I threw in a extra tip for their efforts and helping me out. My wife went there and got her hair and nails done and she loved it. Best salon experience in regards to feeling like my stylist has trendy techniques and knows what she's doing! I love that they're serious about training their stylist. I saw Jess. She did an amazing job! She gives a great scalp manipulation and takes her time! I received a free shampoo in a gift bag. I would highly recommend this salon! It's worth the money. I cut 10 inches off and got highlights on the crown and it was $130. read more

My 19 year old daughter wanted her hair colored. No highlights, just colored. Quoted to be about $80 or so. She showed up and they told her it would be a little more because of her hair length. AFTER they colored her hair, they charged her over $200! She had NO IDEA it would be that much and they did not warn her it even could cost her that much! Never again! I have been coming to Trios for about 6 months now. The staff are friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in the door. The receptionists are always ready to assist you and offer you a beverage when you walk in. How many places do that anymore? My stylist Ashley remember what I like and always asks what's going on in my life and doesn't need a refresher. And her scalp massage is one of the most amazing feelings in the world! This place cares about their QUALITY of work, not the quantity. It's been so hard to find a salon in Omaha that I could stick with, and I know I will continue to come here. Don't waste the money here. Spent over 200$ to get my hair done. Color was faded in less than 2 weeks, had to go back and they charged me another 100$ to get it redone, even though I had just spend 200$ less than two weeks prior. The stylist double or even triple book themselves, so different stylists have to finish what they've started. I had 5 different stylists working on my hair within a night. In the end, I was over 300$ in and my hair wasn't even what I originally asked for. Way too expensive for the crap service they provide. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Becca does a fabulous job with my hair. That is saying A LOT because I don't trust just anyone to do my hair! She really knows what she is doing and knows what works best for my hair type. She gives great suggestions and listens to what I like and want. She does a fantastic job with my color; she knows what shade/color will compliment my skin tone best. She is also very informative while she is styling my hair so I know exactly what products she is using. That way I can recreate the style when I get home. I was really not satisfied with my recent haircut at Trios Salon. The first time they cut my hair, they did fine when using a picture. When I returned, though, I asked for only 1/4" off the back and 1 1/2" off the front. The stylist decided to give me her own idea of what I should have, like a Southern bouffant, which is *** not *** my style. She started cutting 3-4" off the back and barely cut anything, i.e. 1/4", off the front. I had to stop her in the middle of the cut and ask her to fix it. I pay a lot of money for the service at $60, and I expect better. Beyond that, when she was talking to me, the stylist made me feel like a moron because I have a unique lifestyle for this area. I had just moved here recently. Trios staff should have more respect for clients with diverse backgrounds. Note that both times that I made an appointment, their staff called in sick so I had to reschedule or get another stylist. Once in a while is fine but for every appointment is odd. read more

Three words. I love Trios! Three more words? I love Ferole! Ferole is my stylist at Trios and I ended up just getting lucky with their New Talent Cut and Color promotion. The online scheduling was very convenient. However, I did not expect for my stylist to have another appointment in the middle of my scheduled time. I was moved to a "processing area" and given a magazine to read. Before I got to pick up the magazine (less than a minute), another stylist came over and asked if she could take it for her client. After nearly 45 minutes of sitting there someone else had to take me back to wash my hair as my stylist was still busy with her other client. I felt like cattle being herded around. From the moment I walked in to the time I paid for the services I had dealt with six different people. It was a very uncomfortable first experience at a salon I had never been to. I will give my color a 6. (I definitely paid for a 10 with the price I was charged) That will be my first and last visit to this salon. read more

Today was my first visit to Treos Salon. I was getting tired of getting the same old cut from my regular stylist even though I was always asking for a change. I took a photo of the style I wanted to Treos and Catrina cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. She was very friendly and explained everything she did to style it so I could get the same look at home. They even gave me a new customer discount since it was my first visit. read more
