Guys in the store were very welcoming, I was super excited to see all the Pokémon TCG merch they had. I bought a Jumbo Victini box, 1 black bolt, 1 white flare, and 1 151 pack from them. Not going to lie I'm skeptical of buying singles from places but was very stoked to get some hits out of the packs! Will definitely be back in the future!

Updating review: these guys use PSA now to grade cards and it cost me $70 per card. Took about a month for 10 cards to be graded. Very happy with their services. Still greeted when entering shop and overall a pleasant experience again.

Stopped by this quaint little shop located a few doors down from Poor Richards on accident. Was surprised how many adults were in here either selling and/or buying cards. I turned out to be one of them. The owner has all types of cards for sale as singles and package deals. Never knew there were so many varieties of cards to be had. He had cards from baseball, fantasy, football, hockey, and the non-traditional cards of Pokémon. It's a large store that is well maintained. Glad I stopped by, I got some pretty good deals.

    Some prices on Pokemon

Prices on Pokemon cards are absolutely ridiculous. Forget retail, they're well above market price as well. They have tons of boxes filled with Pokemon products all over the floor and lining the shelves, so they're definitely getting it from a distributor, yet they're charging more than scalpers on Ebay. Absolutely disgusting, they're trying to take advantage of those who don't know any better.

Not only do they sell sports cards and pokemon cards! Sports memorabilia as well! Dallas Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars and Rangers

If your looking for your favorite sports memorabilia, cards, pokemon cards, and more, this is the place to shop, super nice and knowledgeable staff!

On Friday at approximately 7:30 PM, we visited the Michaels store located at 15th Street and…read moreHighway 75 and purchased $435.06 worth of merchandise. While checking out at the self-checkout counter, we requested assistance because several of our items were breakable and needed something to wrap them in. The cashier, Macie, was the only employee working at the front of the store and one of only two employees working in the store at the time. She was assisting another customer and told us to use the bags at the counter to wrap the items. Because it was near closing and the plastic bags had not been restocked, there were very few available and there were no bubble wrap or paper to wrap breakables in. Following the cashier's instructions, we attempted to wrap our items as best we could. In doing so, we apparently used their new customer (aka: would you like to add your number to our system, coupon club) bags that were sitting at the counter, not realizing they were not intended for customer use. At best they one time use throw away bags. Which is why I didn't give it another thought. After completing our purchase, I placed my items in my car and returned the cart to the store. At that point, the cashier informed us that we were not supposed to take those bags. I immediately apologized and said I would gladly bring them back. However, the situation was communicated in a way that suggested we had intentionally taken them, and this occurred in front of other customers, which was extremely embarrassing. I returned to my car, retrieved the bags, and brought them back inside. I then asked for bubble wrap, which was provided at that time. I also asked to speak with the manager because I wanted to clarify the misunderstanding and explain that we had simply followed the cashier's instructions to use the bags available at the counter. The manager, Brynn, confirmed that there were only two employees working in the store at the time--herself and the cashier, Macie. During the discussion, it was mentioned that Macie relayed to the manager we had taken an entire stack of bags, which was inaccurate. Only two bags had been used, and they were returned immediately once we were informed. I asked to speak with the store's general manager so the situation could be escalated and properly addressed. However, Brynn refused to provide the general manager's name or contact information. When we went back to the front of the store, a police officer was present. At no point had I raised my voice or used inappropriate language; I had simply expressed disappointment at being accused of theft after spending a significant amount of money and following the instructions given by the cashier. It later became clear that the police had been called by a friend of Brynn's who was in the store and was not an employee. This individual appeared to be spending time with Brynn in the back of the store and called the police during the situation in defense of her friend. The officer stated he had been told that customers were yelling, which was not accurate. He asked Brynn whether she wanted us trespassed from the store, which she declined. What exactly would have occurred to warrant a trespass I've no idea. Unfortunately, the interaction with the officer was also unprofessional. He pointed his finger at me and told me to "mind my business and check out," and then proceeded to laugh and joke with Brynn and her friend. This entire experience was extremely disappointing and embarrassing. As a paying customer who spent nearly $500 in the store that evening, I expected to be treated with respect and professionalism. Instead, a misunderstanding escalated unnecessarily and left us feeling publicly accused of theft. I hope Michaels leadership will review this situation and address the customer service, communication, and management issues that occurred so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

I've been twice and had a great time both instances. They are BYOB and have snacks available for purchase. I've never struggled to find a table, but it does get busy on the weekends! -1 star because -Unlike Color Me Mine, the employees bring you paint (up to 6 colors per person), and during busy hours, you have to wait for a while to get a refill/anything if needed -There is a color in the blue section that shows as a gorgeous blue (on the pencil holder you can see end-product colors on), but really turns out more purple post-fire. I think it's 54? I wouldn't have picked it for my mug the first time I went if I had known the color would change -I asked someone working if I could get something to draw really fine white lines. She gave me a squeeze bottle that came out really thick. I saw others bottle had a thin metal piece coming from the top, but she refused to let me use that because it was "too hard to take off" from another bottle. To me, it just felt like she didn't want to put in the effort to help me Overall, it's a lot of fun! The studio fee is $8 per person, but 2x a week they have deals to save on this.

My experience here was with 8 girls from my daughters volleyball team along with the parents; we had food for the kids, and the parents of course had their own adult beverages to keep us occupied. We picked our signs well before the party and when we showed up the hosts explained to the girls how to select their stain and decorate their signs however they wanted. I love the freedom the girls had to roam and explore one anothers paintings; they were able to compare, collaborate and laugh. The staff did a fantastic job of keeping the girls focused enough to create beautiful signs, all the while having a great time to talk and mingle with one another. The place is clean and you are greeted with a smile when you walk in. The attitude from start to finish is positive and happy. You could spend time walking through the shop and reading the beautiful signs to get inspiration to create your own version. I will be organizing a neighborhood event and bringing them here, I think we would have a blast working with this place to provide a first stop for a party bus. This place would also be great for team building as you have the space and atmosphere for fun and positive thinking. Overall, this place is great for large or small groups and you leave with a beautiful piece of art you created yourself. Bravo to the owners of Design & Mine for creating a wonderful place to create fun art and memories.
