My forever moving Angels! I work in an industry that needed me to travel back and forth from Dallas to LA. I've been with the company for over 6 years, and after becoming a mom about 8 months ago, having to be away from my angel was not an option. I requested a permanent position in LA location, without expecting a yes, a week later I received an approval letter. Next step was hiring a company, which by the way was a SUPER SCARY process after reading reviews on line. Most of the reviews suggested to work with companies that provide in home estimates. So my hunting started, spoke to three different companies, and scheduled appointments to have them come see my stuff. Luckily, Triple Crown was one of the three. Eric, who came out was such a gentleman, who took his time to address all my concerns and read through some reviews. Assured me every experience is different. SURE he was, my price stayed the same, all my items made it to LA in one piece!! I made a great decision by picking my company. I recommend this company to everyone. Do not use this company. They have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. First, they outsource moves to other moving companies, so by the end of the process you could be dealing with three or four different companies and multiple price changes. My original quote started around $2,400 and eventually jumped to over $5,000. They also failed to clearly disclose important details up front. I was never told that: * My belongings would be sharing a truck with another client * Delivery could take 1-7 business days * The move would be transferred between different companies Up until I called asking where my belongings were, they kept telling me delivery would take 1-3 days. Only then did they suddenly change it to 1-7 business days. It feels intentionally deceptive because these details only came out after I had already signed the contract and was in the middle of moving. When I tried to cancel after the second and third price increases, they refused to refund my deposit. Their only response was "it's in the contract." Yes, there may be wording buried in the contract, but when a customer clearly explains what they need and you verbally promise something completely different just to get them to sign, that is misleading. If I had known the truth up front, I never would have booked with them. I could have rented and handled this move myself for around $1,500 and had my belongings delivered the same day. My items were picked up Sunday, 5/17/2026, and as of 5/21/2026 I still have not received them. The move is only about a 7.5-hour drive from Kentucky to South Carolina. Every time I call, nobody can give me an update. They just say they'll call me back -- and then nothing. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a moving company. read more

Ok I wish I had seen this before now - the guys who showed up were fantastic. Great care, documentation and the rest so I'm not blaming the independent subcontractors. However, it was stated 7-10 days which is ok - it's a 14 hour drive but logistics are seldom simple. I have been living on a friends couch for the time being - texts are not returned, calls to the contractor not returned. I found assurance (because I will probably see my stuff) in the comments that they are always late but come on man. I will change this review with a positive response, should I be hasty in judgement however as stated the guys working the job were awesome - the company apparently not so much. The drivers picked my furniture up two days late, causing me to miss a flight. They proceeded to hold my furniture for over a month before delivering it. The lack of communication was baffling. Buyer beware! Triple Crown Moving and Storage delivered our furniture minus a loveseat, bicycle, a step ladder, a TV table, 10 boxes, a large framed photograph and the arm on an antique chair. That was in July. It is now September 1. It is unlikely that we will ever see these items again despite dozens of attempts to find out where our items are and if there are any plans to get them to us. I had no idea my move was subcontracted to this company. They arrived very late in the day on a Sunday because of a truck breakdown. Sound familiar? The guy in charge counted every little thing as a box, instead of charging by space, which made my move so much more costly. When my items arrived, SO many things were ruined & broken. This company took advantage of my family, overcharged, added costs on using Covid as an excuse and broke several priceless items with no recourse. My father in law was moving his mother across the country from Dallas and hired these scammers. They broke from their contracted prices, claiming that because they couldn't bring 3 people in to the room to move things (assisted living facility had a Covid restriction only letting in 2) that they needed to charge substantially more. As though as a professional moving company they couldn't have called and confirmed this before hand? They broke several family heirlooms and will not do anything about the breakage because no insurance was purchased, although the only insurance offered was a small subtext on an already very crowded email. You will deal with two people at the company if you are lucky to even get them on the phone or via email - they often say their phones aren't working. 1 - the person who is logistically sending your stuff - they will promise you it is being packed the next few days and then not get in touch with you for a week. This happened 5 times via email where they said a truck would have my stuff in the next few days and then I wouldn't get a response 2 - a customer service rep who forgets who you are, every single time you speak. You have to start from square one every time you speak to them and start all over with your situation, why they are in the wrong, why you want your stuff, and what they are going to do for you. A few days will go by without any news and then you start all over. I spoke to Vilma probably 20 times and she never understood my case, always forgot what was going on, would have info for another move in front of her, would promise to get back to me and never call back and overall was just rude. Once she even said she "Would never promise to tell me how big the truck was that had my stuff" and then promised she would find out and call me right back. She was a horrible person to work with. When we finally did get our stuff 30 days after we were scheduled to get it, all the boxes were broken and messed with, numerous items were missing, and a TV never showed up. When the TV was mailed, it was broken. I spoke with Vilma again who said that if I didn't file a complaint she would "work with me" to get me another TV - It has been two weeks and she never has even called me back. Again - worst moving company I have ever worked with and I moved tons of times with the military. Terrible moving company! Totally took advantage of the fact that I had to move my stuff on that date. Charged me an EXTRA $1000 from what they quoted. They were supposed to deliver on a certain date, they called and said it would be two to three weeks late, then they called when they were an hour away without any warning a few days from the original delivery date. Like I'm trying to see where my belonging are. Stay professional. My bed had many scratches. Was contracted through best cross country movers they were cool except the person that did my inventory left off my couches so I had to pay more at pick up. They showed up and re-wrote an invoice for $3k more than my original quote. I would have told them to take a hike but I had signed a contract with the original company and figured I could dispute with them (I still will). They took a freight job, brokered by US Pro Moving and Logistics, Paul Irving, another Scammer, and failed to deliver all of our freight. The guy on the truck wanted cash before he unloaded, which my elderly mother stupidly provided before I arrived. Out of thirty boxes, five did not arrive. The boxes looked like they weren't secured in the truck and many were damaged. Bad enough, but then they go and hide. We have tried many times to call. After they answered the first time and sounded really helpful, they won't answer or return calls. I contacted En Route relocation services thinking that they would be my mover. Turns out, they contracted out with Triple Crown Moving and Storage to move my things out of a storage unit from Austin, TX to Nashville, TN. I was not able to be present when they showed up but asked for a copy of my moving papers which I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED!. After getting my things out of storage, I don't know exactly what they did with my things, but another moving company My American Movers showed up with my things. I had missing items, a broken desk, several broken glass frames and bowls. This company could care less about my satisfaction. I need the moving papers to file a claim for the missing and broken items. If they don't send me the papers, I can't make a claim. So, that's how it's done, people! What a total rip-off. read more

TERRIBLE. Run away! There are so many things about this experience that are bad. I've moved 6 times, and I know what to expect. They show up, load the truck and then present you with an increased bill. Nothing you can do. My goods had to go to storage for 2 weeks, but it takes them an extra 4 weeks to deliver my stuff. And during those 4 weeks, we called daily for an update - they never answered their phone and we never received one call back. Then they showed up with my damaged goods. So many things damaged! Mattress ripped.  Refrigerator with dents on all sides.  Large gouges in multiple pieces of wood furniture.  Broken glass on media cabinet.  Dresser looked like it had been rolled across the street.  Headboard scratched. Work bench crushed and unusable. Broken wheels on everything with casters. And more. Then there's missing items. 16 items missing!  Including a glass top for a large dresser.  Oh, I'm not done.  They destroyed the floors in my home.  Tile was crushed.  Wood floors with a 20-foot gouge.  And then they work through a Claims company who makes the process so incredibly difficult, hoping that you just give up.  And if you don't, well you get $93.  Yep, for all the damage, smashed up goods, missing items, and damaged floors, they offered me $93.  Now I'm getting an attorney involved.  What a joke.  Don't ever risk this.  Don't use this company! read more

Don't use these movers. They'll flat out lie about their contract, then completely ignore calls to get it fixed. They'll overestimate your move after arriving 8 hours late to pick up, and force you to sign after packing everything. Then they'll make you wait over 3 weeks to get your stuff. In summary, my things were picked up on December 23rd of 2020, and I did not receive them until February 1st, 2021. WOW. Just WOW. HORRIBLE experience. Lack of communication. Last-minute charges. I was also charged an extra $350 dollars because the driver was unaware that they were transporting to an apartment complex EVEN THOUGH I told them. If I could give this horrible company a negative I'd give them a -10! We were planning a move from Tennessee to Florida and we were approached by telephone by All Coast Moving & Storage to possibly schedule our move. What we didn't know is that this company is a BROKER NOT A MOVING COMPANY! Logan from All Coast said we HAD to give them a deposit from our checking or savings account and NOT a credit card like we had done in the past. So we gave them a sizable deposit and they scheduled our move. The day before we were to move a representative from Triple Crown Moving and Storage came to the house to do a walk through. They had previously given us a quote for $8,800.00 that we thought was fair. This guy walked through taking notes and said " Oh! This is going to cost way more than $8,800.00 and it looks like it will be THREE TIMES THAT!!! We said absolutely not and he lowered it to $14,500.00. We had to move or be in violation of our sales contract so we agreed. I started thinking about this and it just didn't feel right especially since this guy was from Dallas Texas and all of our furniture would be in Dallas! I didn't like that so I told him to just forget it! I then hired another mover but the buyers of our property were very upset and they said we had to pay $750 per day until all of our things were moved out! I knew we'd be out in three days but one of the directors of the company refused to work with us. They call you like telemarketers to get your business then leave out very pertinent important information then no deals. 1 star is FAR TOO MUCH! Under NO circumstances do you even consider using them! Arrived 6 days. They send 1, yes 1 mover/driver across country to deliver, unload and put my items back together. They put an ad on Local website for helpers and no one replied. Needless to say the contents of my house,garage and shop are sitting in the living room in pieces! I contracted with New Leaf Moving Company in February/2021 to a move on the 14th of March. They did an inventory by phone/internet and quoted me $6,000+. However, they did not informed me but assigned the household goods to "Triple Crown Moving company, The Colony, TX.. They arrived on the 14th with a truck that would not hold all my furniture. They had to rent a UHAUL and charged me 1/2. The major problem was the original contract of $6,000+ increased to $13,000+. I did not have the option of saying "no" since we had to vacate the house on the same day. I had another bid (onsite visit of inventory) by North America Van lines for $7,200. I thought I would do good by the lower bid - WRONG! I have tried to communicate with all "parties" to no success. If something is not done (it's been 6 months) my only recourse is to contact my VA Attorney, since I am a DISABLED VETERAN which they are trying to take advantage of! read more

Stay away! Absolutely horrible experience. They stole our nice drill set (we know because in its place in the box there was a crushed Red Bull which we don't drink, and a small tin Christmas tree, which we never owned), damaged our couch, floor lamp, and mattress, lost our large area rug and several kitchen supplies. Then when you try to file a claim, they have a spamy claims center website that asks for every possible detail before you can submit, and only offers you pennies on the dollar for they lost damaged. Getting on the phone with them is nearly impossible. So basically if and when they damage/lose/steal your property, you can (maybe) get 5% of the value back, if they ever decide to actually pay you. NO BREAKAGE, and the crew helped unpack big electronics and took care of the thrash for me at no extra cost. They also placed all large furniture in the rooms of my choice. Knoxville, TN - We had many, many issues with this moving company. We didn't even know it was this company moving our belongings until three hours before they arrived. They charged us about 70% more than we were originally quoted by New Leaf Moving, the broker (unknown to us). Our delivery was done in two parts, and we waited from 7/12/21 until 8/4/21 for the first delivery (partial) and then until 8/20/21 for the second. Many items were damaged including furniture, crystal, etc. We are also missing items including paintings, a large shadow box that belonged to my great grand mother, a box of pink depression ware glass platters and serving dishes...and MOST IMPORTANTLY, a box of many PHOTO ALBUMS OF MY DAUGHTER FOR HER FIRST 2.5 YEARS. The last of the missing items were delivered today, 9/19/21. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. They lie, are careless with your things, and caused us great distress. read more

The absolute worst moving company I have ever experienced. The customer service associate Leslie was great. She went over my contract and answered all of my questions. I specifically asked about wrapping and protecting my items; i was told its all included. I scheduled two moves. When the movers arrived for the first move they were an hour late. Then they informed me it was company policy to charge an additional fee of 25 dollars per tv or glass items to "crate" them. When I asked what was the crating, I was showed some recycled cardboard. I was livid...this was not disclosed especially since they had an itemized list of my belongings before hand. Then my move was scheduled for 5 hours. It took the movers 5 hours to upload my items. Then I was told it will be an additional $169 per hour and they were estimating an additional 5 hours to unload the truck. When I called to speak with a supervisor Adriel, a customer service rep, told me that I could not. I was eventually contacted by Velma. She was very nice. Needless to say my move was not completed until amost two a.m. I had to help the crew unload the truck and they did not reassemble the beds they took apart. I was so exhausted, I had to miss work, and very disappointed with the level of service. I would never recommend this company. Beware because they do not honor their word. No one called back to follow up the next day or anything. When I called to cancel my second move, again the customer service was lacking.
